In a town loaded with poor and ambivalent customer service, "Manny's Place" is a shining star in making a customer feel welcome, providing expert advice, and selling supplies along with knoweldge of how to use them properly. The store is sparkling clean, easy to find, and stocked with everything you need to either keep your pool looking like new, or to make your old pool come to life again. They are a full service operation, and can do everything from designing and building your new pool, to fixing up the old one. To be honest, it is rare to come upon people who seem to enjoy what they do and don't take the customer for granted. They are happy you've walked in the door, and exude professionalism, know-how, and warmth. Manny is the owner, and his son ("Manny the Third") was working the register. Businesses like this deserve to prosper! read more

These are the worst pool suppliers I have ever dealt with! The owner Manny will rip you off by selling you products that you don't need that will later cost you twice as much to fix!! read more

Great customer service. Very knowledgeable....Would highly recommend.....Full service pool store...

Watered down chlorine. I wanted to give a local small business a shot instead of my usual chain pool store. I bought (2) 2.5 gallons of liquid chlorine. When I poured in the first one I barely smelled the chlorine. Usually when you pour it the smell is powerful and the pool smells like chlorine for a full day after. This chlorine was basically water. It didn't just fail the smell test, it did nothing for the cleanliness of the pool. Normally after 24 hours you'll see a noticeable difference in water quality. Nada. Complete waste of money. Typical Miami business. No wonder everyone buys pool products from Amazon now. Post response edit: You can play the all the word gymnastics you want, but I noticed you didn't deny it and you only responded to one of my assertions. I also tested it myself and again at Pinch a Penny: low chlorine. Also, arguing from authority because you have 18 years in the business is a desperate attempt to save face. I've been treating my pool for 8 years quite well, thanks. There's no difference in 18 versus 8 years in treating pools. This isn't spinal surgery. You can teach a middle schooler with Down syndrome to do it. But nice trying to deflect from the fact that you're no better than those text scammers from the Philippines trying to goad you into paying fake toll charges. read more

Came here on a recommendation from a friend Needed pool supplies and advice when my boyfriend decided to fix up his pool at his house. Manny, the owner, is awesome!! He helped my bf with some useful advice for fixing up the pool, as well as getting him all the "chemical"s. My bf has a fiberglass underground pool that had been empty for more than 10 years. Needless to say that it needed a lot of work and every pool company (including the actual manufactturers of the pool) were NO help. Manny helped him a lot and I ended up learning a few things.... Think Chemistry 101 This place really was a life saver for my bf and now he's a loyal customer. They do free water test, quick service and NOT over priced. The best parts: 1. The chlorine is cheaper than Pinch a Penny and it's the same size. Apparently, those pool jugs come in different sizes... eh what do I know, I just wanted to be sipping on some margaritas by the pool... but instead I'm learning about pool supplies... Ahhh I guess everything comes with a price!!!LOL Just kidding :) 2. Great customer service!!!! Once you go there,, you feel like family... And they remember your name :) 3. It's right next to Sweetness Bakeshop... YUMMYYY!!! After the bf gets his pool stuff, I get treated to some yummy cupcakes for being such a "supportive" gf... Now they just need to add a liquor store in that shopping center to get that margarita mix.... read more

Carmen M. 2/1/2017 I found Countywide while searching for a pool light amidst a whole pool remodel. Manny offered me the best prices, delivered the light the same day (on a Saturday), and had his tech install it seamlessly. He also came to the rescue by providing his plaster/diamond brite staff to complete the job. I wish I would have known about Countrywide prior to hiring the company I dealt with. Manny is a man of his word, a rare quality in today's business world, he offers competitive prices, and reduced a lot of my stress. I highly recommend Countrywide's services, and Manny! read more

The service is bad, from the get go this guy would do a "bait and switch" I hired them to clean up a pool and install a new equipment, they sold me on a light I didn't need for 500 bucks and, tried to have me redo the diamond brite, by then I realized I didn't need it, he tried to up sale me on replacing the salt chlorination system when in fact it was working ok, charge me for salt he never put in the pool, I ended up firing the guy from a monthly service and I prefer never to use them. Total disappointment and adding to it the owner is unreally disrespectful, I had more than one argument with him. I would avoid them at all cost. read more

We recently had our pool completely redone from top to bottom and could not be happier with Manny's service. He gave us exactly what he promised and in the time frame he committed to. Very happy to recommend their service. read more

I contacted a Countywide as I had a leak in my pool. Manny was great on the phone. Even though the leak detection was off by a couple of feet they came back and found the leak. Thank you Darwin. And I want to give a special thanks to Rene. He fixed the leak and left everything as nothing has happened. Working 2 days under the hot sun he took his time and did an excellent job. Will definitely use Countywide again read more

From the start Manny's service and attention to detail was superb. We have plenty of experience with contractors and even built our own pool before. Manny was highly recommended by a friend. He promised the job done in 3 weeks where every other company told me 4-6 weeks if weather permitted. We hired him to resurface and completely redo our entire patio. He negotiated all his prices to beat everybody out there and gave us a beautiful travertine patio with quality installation. We didn't think we needed to change our pool pump. Manny educated us on the different pumps on the market and the money we were losing by using a small old pump we upgraded the system at a surprisingly low cost. He was on top of all the workers everyday. He was in constant contact with us on all updates and progress. He got the job done in 16 days and it's beautiful! I can't say enough how happy my husband and I are with the results. We were so pleased with the service and outcome he is now servicing our pool monthly on both our homes. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Exceptionally poor service from Manny and his employees. Had this service for awhile. Always a salespich and ignores many necessary small essentials unless they can get more money from you. Only serviced my pool twice out of 4 times last month and ignored me about issues. Last time pool guy came he didn't service the pool and left a card saying he did. I told them no thanks for anymore service and their response is to insult me. Horrible service. They aren't doing you a favor, you're paying them. read more
