We went through like 3 or 4 different companies before this and they were all terrible - people not showing up, doing half the job, you know the drill. Started working with Blueviel back in March and honestly it's been night and day. These guys just get it, like they actually understand what it takes to run a good operation business. Their staff show up when they say they will, they're always in uniform and professional, The thing that really impressed me though is how easy they are to work with. We had this situation last month where a guest checked out early and we had another family coming in like 3 hours later and I called them kind of freaking out and they just handled it, no complaints or upcharges or anything. Their customer service team is super responsive too, like they actually pick up the phone which seems rare these days. Price wise they're totally fair, maybe even a little cheaper than the last company we used and the quality is way better so that's a win. They've also been really flexible with our schedule since we have turnover happening all the time, sometimes on weird days or short notice. Anyway if you're doing vacation rentals or Airbnb or anything like that you need to call these guys. They've made my life so much easier and our guests always comment on how pools are looking good . However, today, I have no choice…read more I've been using Village Pool for years until this morning that I discovered that I'm pay well over $100 for their pool guy to come and just pour 2 5 gallons of chlorine without testing the water. They are supposed to clean the pool when necessary. My pool is green but I guess that's not considered necessary. My navigator has not worked since last week, but he didn't even get close to it to be able to see if it was working. If he spent 10.minutes in my property, I think I'm being generous. I cancelled my service as of today and will no longer be using them. Best of luck.

This was up until mid February when my weekly pool service suddenly stopped (NOT for lack of payment) and I was never given a reason why. I called, messaged, texted and NEVER once did I receive a response from their founder. I found that to be very unprofessional after so many years of service. I was very disappointed. My pool turned green after waiting three weeks before choosing another company to come out. They could have at least sent a letter out to customers notifying them of any recent changes or disruption of future service as noted here on Yelp (closed temporarily til Sept 2021).

I called Malibu Pools to see if they could help me quickly because I was worried the pool could get a lot worse. They came out and added the necessary chemicals; upon closer inspection, they recommended an acid wash to mitigate more damage and problems in the future. I'm SO glad I took their advice! WOW!
