Before beginning the process of pool building, my husband and I researched and inquired with close to 15 Miami pool companies. Once we narrowed it down to 4 South Florida companies, we met with them individually and asked everything from A-Z. While the questions continued via email and telephone, several people seemed too busy to be bothered. We are investing thousands and wanted to make sure we knew what we were getting ourselves into. With Custom Pools, every single thing was answered and explained by the owner himself. There aren't enough great things I can say about this company and about Dago, the owner. The quote was straightforward, options were amazing, and communication was spectacular. Dago made himself available 24-7 and we were so impressed by his professionalism and the skill of his building team. From start to finish, our pool build took less than 3 months. We went through like 3 or 4 different companies before this and they were all terrible - people not showing up, doing half the job, you know the drill. Started working with Blueviel back in March and honestly it's been night and day. These guys just get it, like they actually understand what it takes to run a good operation business. Their staff show up when they say they will, they're always in uniform and professional, The thing that really impressed me though is how easy they are to work with. We had this situation last month where a guest checked out early and we had another family coming in like 3 hours later and I called them kind of freaking out and they just handled it, no complaints or upcharges or anything. Their customer service team is super responsive too, like they actually pick up the phone which seems rare these days. Price wise they're totally fair, maybe even a little cheaper than the last company we used and the quality is way better so that's a win. They've also been really flexible with our schedule since we have turnover happening all the time, sometimes on weird days or short notice. Anyway if you're doing vacation rentals or Airbnb or anything like that you need to call these guys. They've made my life so much easier and our guests always comment on how pools are looking good . ****UPDATE**** I felt the need to add this update because now that I have had the pool for a year…read moreand a half, I am still amazed at the level of customer service that Rosmel provides its customers - even long after the project has been completed. As novice pool owners,you tend to have a lot of questions that fist year and Rosmel, in their signature "We are there for you" customer service, was there for us every step of the way. As always, e-mails and telephone calls were answered in 24 hours or less and any problems were FIXED immediately. Just a few examples... 1. Our pool filter resulted to be a bit too small for our pool (we have a larger pump because of our waterfalls) and Rosmell replaced it right away. We weren't even home. One day I got home and BAM! There it was. It has been smooth sailing with a crystal clear pool every since. 2. Like I said, we are novice pool owners and a few weeks ago were a bit alarmed at how much water we were losing. We thought we might have a leak. Rosmel was at our place the NEXT DAY. No leak! Regular evaporation rates. Yeah! 3. Our pool timer went to meet it's maker last week - dead as a door nail. We sent them an email on Sunday morning. I clearly was not expecting to hear back from them on a Sunday but I wanted to give them a heads up. By 3 pm the next day, our timer had been replaced. Unbelievable. 4. Our pool lights for some reason were out of sync. I e-mailed them, within about 20 minutes the owner himself responded and walked me through a few steps to reset them. Bam! My pool no longer looks like a psychedelic acid trip. I knew Rosmel was a great company when I hired them because I had done my research, but they continue to astound me. It is rare to find a company that AFTER the fact, still seems so invested in their customers. They truly stand behind their work and they take a lot of pride in what they do. Again Yelpers, when you consider building a pool, please also consider life AFTER the pool has been built. Things will happen, it's inevitable, but with Rosmel you can rest assured that it will be ok. You can't put a price-tag on that.

The company only works with Jandy pumps and did not provide me with any other option except replacing the entire pump, which I find unacceptable given the short lifespan. That I am extremely happy with Isla & Sun Pool Service. My last guy every 3 months was telling me that I had to change my filter. And in 5 years since my pool renovation, I have gone through 2 Pool Pumps and a Salt Water pump. And my pool always had algae, and was serviced once a week, and I also have a M8 vacuum. I decided to have I & S come out to give me a quote and to tell me what I needed to make my pool sparkling. All it took was some adjustments and chemicals and I can't tell you how beautiful it looks, my M8 goes up my wall which it hasn't done in years and best of all NO Algae!!! I Love I&SPS. They are great and I highly recommend them. And the value is better than what I was paying for.
