Belkis, and her family, could not have delivered a better product or provided better customer service. Belkis answered my calls at all hours of the day and always had a solution to my concerns. Hiring True Blue Pools was the best decision that I made. There is no reason to consider another pool vendor. We must have gone through 3-4 different unreliable pool companies before being lucky enough to find SoFlo Pools. Here's what is our condominium building loves about SoFlo Pools! 1. They have a super cool report system that emails a picture and chemical report each time they service the pool so that you know it's safe for swimming. 2. Affordable. We were with them for two years, prior to receiving a modest fee increase. 3. Similar to another reviewer, we had a non-functioning hot tub / spa. SoFlo Pools was the only company to work with us to repair the system. It was complicated, and they figured it out, and installed a new control system. 4. Customer service responds quickly via phone or email. And on more than one occasion, one of the company owners has assisted us in problem solving.

It is probably one of our home projects that required a lot of involvement, patience and constant follow up. Custom Pools stood out as the one with fair pricing, clear process and honestly, great reviews like the one I am making. Those were the reasons we selected them. I give them 5 stars because they delivered a beautiful pool and took care of all issues that came up. So let me tell you about the process. Their sales guys- Hugo- was personable and accommodating, he was the one that basically dealt with us throughout, and probably got tired of us because we called him a lot, and I mean a lot! Once we signed the contract and paid the deposit, it took several weeks for permitting, some delays were due to the company not filing right away because their guy was out and the City took their sweet time. Once they got permits, they moved very expeditiously. Only delays worth mentioning were more towards the end with decking and final inspections but once these were overcome, the project was on its way to completion. We had a punch list of issues that came up during the project but they took care of those and by the end all was to satisfaction. We started in February signing the contract, the actual construction of the pool started in June and we finished in September. So I would say it was a fair timeframe. We never met the owner during construction, however, at the end, we wanted to have a pool party to celebrate our Daughter's 12th b'day and it had to be postponed one week due to weather and a few remaining items. I called the company and got Dago- the owner-, who took care of business and did his best to ensure the pool was ready, clean and fantastic to have the party on the rescheduled day. So in other words, they came through and we wrapped it up with a bow! I would certainly recommend them. I would just advise that you must be on top of the project and act as a project manager to ensure things get moving at a good pace. These guys are great, just keep in mind, they have other projects running simultaneously and work with teams of subs as any other pool builder. Everyone was nice and did a great job!

Within the first year, cracks appeared in the coping. We tried to be reasonable and even paid for materials for a repair, but the cracks have now spread across the entire deck. Multiple independent experts have confirmed the issue is the concrete slab--the very foundation Gray Dolphin installed. We have documented proof that the cracks are originating from the sub-surface they built. Despite our attempts to reach out professionally to Robert to find a solution, our concerns have been ignored. A pool deck should not be failing in under 5 years. If you want a builder who stands by their structural work, look elsewhere!

Which in my humble opinion is a fair reason having sat in traffic going only 25 miles that can take over an hour plus depending on the time of day, accidents, and weather. So I took that review off. But then Chris sent me another message saying thank you and even offered to review quotes for me so I would not be taken advantage of. This is an above and beyond offer and I felt that I needed to let everyone know. However, today, I have no choice…read more I've been using Village Pool for years until this morning that I discovered that I'm pay well over $100 for their pool guy to come and just pour 2 5 gallons of chlorine without testing the water. They are supposed to clean the pool when necessary. My pool is green but I guess that's not considered necessary. My navigator has not worked since last week, but he didn't even get close to it to be able to see if it was working. If he spent 10.minutes in my property, I think I'm being generous. I cancelled my service as of today and will no longer be using them. Best of luck.
