Called to have them come and verify the issues and to quote additional work, no responses Finally i got someone's attention thanks to Yelp, today 01/30/2019 Robert calls me to tell me I am not his customer and I need to take up this issue with my sales person when i bought the house 3 months ago. This so called contract us non transferable, not like the owners could take the pool with them. Also, please dont tell me you dont look at your contact form on your website nor that you dont do renovations because your website is very clear that you do, another false advertisement. Hired them to build a new pool and patio. Two weeks after install, the patio cracked everywhere. I tried calling and they would not pick up my call. I finally used a different number and i was told by owner that the issue with patio was not covered by warranty. I tried multiple times to get a resolution and I ended up having to sue them. It's crazy because I think they went through 3 different. Attorneys and spent a ridiculous amount of money and at the end , they still had to repair the patio. It's sad because if they hadn't worked with me , I would have willingly split the cost of a repair and no one would have had to lose so much money. Very bad business read more

I made the mistake of hiring Grey Dolphin Pool to build my pool in 2015. First off I gave the deposit in April and they didn't finish until September, it took the five months and I frequently needed to call them to find out when they were going to return to work. It was like pooling teeth. Mind you, the sales person told us the entire process would take two months. After our pool was constructed we decided to hire Gray Dolphin to maintain/clean our pool. After about two months of maintenance we noticed things going missing from our yard and witnessed their pool guy stealing our pool cleaner hose through our surveillance system. So we immediately fired Gray Dolphin from cleaning our pool. Six month into our newly constructed pool we noticed a crack forming from the pool stairs all they way to the middle of the pool. We called Gray Dolphin so they can take advantage of the repair through the one year warranty they provided. They originally tried to get out of it by stating that the warranty is void because we fired them from pool cleaning. But after a bunch of back and forth they finally decided to perform the repair (if that's what you want to call it). They did a temporary patch job, good enough to get it through the warranty phase. Long story short the crack began to form again, Gray Dolphin has ignored our calls and we had to pay another company close to $4k to repair the pool properly. The pool company we called looked at the repair Gray Dolphin did and told us this was done incorrectly and basically a temporary patch.I regret ever giving Grey Dolphin my business. They were the low bidder (not by much). Hindsight I would have selected another bid. read more

After getting several quotes for a new pool we decided to go with Gray Dolphin Pools. At first we were extremely happy as they completed our pool within 6 weeks, had great communication with our rep, and had no issues during the construction phase. However after the pool was completed we started experiencing a few issues. First of all our pavers started sinking within a week after installation. After calling and emailing a few times they finally came and "fixed" them. A week later, they started sinking again. They came to fix a third time.... and yet again a few days later they are sinking again! I understand that we live in Miami and it has been raining a lot but I really feel like these were not properly installed. I would definitely suggest having another company install your pavers. Secondly, the edges of the steps were extremely sharp. Right away we had a few guests and our son get scratches on their legs and feet. Again, after following up with our rep multiple times, they finally sent someone who came and filed down the edges which did help a little. It also took 3 months to pass our final inspection, mainly due to a lack in their follow up after the construction was complete. It is really unfortunate that the communication and service dropped off at the end, as we otherwise would have given them 5 stars. read more

It has been a disappointing and frustrating experience dealing with management or administrators at Gray Dolphin Pools.. My pool is under the 10-years MFG warranty for the Diamond Brite. They do not want honor the 10-year warranty they sold me when they built the pool. They keep telling me that they use a sub contractor (SGM) and that I should contact them to solve the problem with the diamond brite peeling off. I have been contacting SGM and Gray Dolphin Pools for the past 2 months, they have been giving me the run around. Finally,they decided that will not honored the warranty, SGM blames Gray Dolphin Pool and they have a back and forth blaming each other. Meanwhile I am screwed, I pay for that pool and the warranty and they told me to basically to go to hell. I think their lack of action is a rip off, a dishonor to consumers. I pay over $30.000 to build that pool and to have the 10-year warranty on the diamond brite. My original contract was with Gray Dolphin Pool, they are too blame for not delivering on their 10-year warranty promise. It is time to fight back, I will now complain with the Better Business Bureau and take them to small court claims. read more

This is about the worse pool company around. Shoty work from the get go. From nocking out power to the house to just careless workmanship. They installed a pool deck that's 10x33 without putting in contraction joints. Everyone knows what they do, they prevent cracks in long cement pours. So they decided not to use the industry standard, so my pool deck cracked 60 days after the pour. There is no real fixing this without just re-doing it. Their contract has all the one-sided exclusions written on the back so you don't see it. This happeded because they failed to install contraction joints. The excavated material was not removed or even graded. They have left trip hazzards around the pool area which can't be used in the present condition. Contract was signed in July 2021 and presently I have to try to keep my grandchildren away so they dont get hurt. They walked away when I told them about the crack and left me in the blind without explaining how to operate the pool controls. My back backyard is a total disaster and a safety hazzard. If we could give this company 0 stars, we would. To sum up their service in one word: atrocious. To sum up their level of professionalism in one word: nonexistent. They show up whenever they want and throw fees at you for months with five weeks and you're not aware of it so you rack up late payments with...you guessed it, more fees. The owners have no idea what customer service means. Complaining is not an option because they do no wrong in their eyes. This company re-plastered my pool. The estimate and the time to complete the work were both reasonable. A one year warranty was provided. After 14 months a small crack appeared in the shallow end. I spent more than 2 months to get someone out. They said the warranty had expired, but the problem was small and they would fix it at no cost. I was happy to hear that. Unforunately, after 4 months of schedules and promises that never materialized, my calls were not returned and I have had to contemplate another contractor to do the job right. . read more
