My pool turned green after waiting three weeks before choosing another company to come out. They could have at least sent a letter out to customers notifying them of any recent changes or disruption of future service as noted here on Yelp (closed temporarily til Sept 2021).

Do not be fooled by Felipe's soft spoken easy going manner. He is ruthless. In my opinion he is not qualified in pool restoration and uses fly by night sub contractors. I gave him a credit card authorization for a one time small down payment only because he was having trouble depositing checks with his bank. Felipe charged me a 7% credit card fee which he promised to return but never did. He made two other charges using the card without my authorization and I didn't find out until it was too late. I had to report the card as lost. The worst part of the project is that Felipe of Premium Pools charged my account and walked away with the sloppy tile work that was never fixed, the fire-up which was never completed and a burned out pool motor which his subcontractors caused and never disclosed. If you hire this company to do your pool restoration and wind up with money and quality work issues, I told you so. Beware.

From the beginning I told him we had only PayPal or Venmo to make the payment for the cleaning that he did on Wednesday and I just can't seem to understand even today if the kid CAN'T read. He behaved like the pool cleaning wasn't going to be paid and started texting uncontrollably to pay him, that I wasn't being fair etc (I'm attaching screenshots) when I told him from the beginning that we didn't have cash, cards or checks and needed to pay via one of the methods used and he just kept sending the payment link which doesn't have the option of paying with PayPal or Venmo so I decided to wait until our cards arrived in the mail on Friday (today) to go ahead and proceed with both of the quotes he gave us which was $580 for fixing the motor of the pool and $75 for the pool cleaning. He still decided to behave as if though we need to request someone cleans the pool for free and were never going to pay him. They are prompt in answering and he accommodated for his employee to come out on Wednesday and treated the pool for a bit of algae that had accumulated due to the motor being damaged but the way he handles business is unfortunately not good. We were going to hire his company for our monthly plus the fixing of the motor and he completely ruined that because of the way he behaved. We must have gone through 3-4 different unreliable pool companies before being lucky enough to find SoFlo Pools. Here's what is our condominium building loves about SoFlo Pools! 1. They have a super cool report system that emails a picture and chemical report each time they service the pool so that you know it's safe for swimming. 2. Affordable. We were with them for two years, prior to receiving a modest fee increase. 3. Similar to another reviewer, we had a non-functioning hot tub / spa. SoFlo Pools was the only company to work with us to repair the system. It was complicated, and they figured it out, and installed a new control system. 4. Customer service responds quickly via phone or email. And on more than one occasion, one of the company owners has assisted us in problem solving.

All…read morethings started off great, Onarbin was very responsive, showed up as he said he would and seemed professional. He found leaks quickly, which is where I wished I would have stopped. Unfortunately, I hired him to replace my leaking pool skimmer. The installation was extremely poor. When we expressed our concerns, Onarbin was quick to give excuses but told us he would return to make repairs. He never did. I now have to hire a new company to repair the work done by O.P. Pool. The photos and video show the issues. Problems with the skimmer installation include: 1. Skimmer was installed too high, it is now sitting above my patio pavers causing a tripping hazard. 2. Skimmer opening at the deck is too small for the skimmer basket to be lifted out. To fix this, Onarbin cut up the skimmer basket so that it could fit through the hole that is too small. 3. One pool pipe under skimmer basket is now filled with loose gravel from the installation. 4. Grout around the skimmer is crumbling. And the top of the skimmer is falling apart 5. Deck pavers around skimmer are now all loose.

As novice pool owners,you tend to have a lot of questions that fist year and Rosmel, in their signature "We are there for you" customer service, was there for us every step of the way. As always, e-mails and telephone calls were answered in 24 hours or less and any problems were FIXED immediately. Just a few examples... 1. Our pool filter resulted to be a bit too small for our pool (we have a larger pump because of our waterfalls) and Rosmell replaced it right away. We weren't even home. One day I got home and BAM! There it was. It has been smooth sailing with a crystal clear pool every since. 2. Like I said, we are novice pool owners and a few weeks ago were a bit alarmed at how much water we were losing. We thought we might have a leak. Rosmel was at our place the NEXT DAY. No leak! Regular evaporation rates. Yeah! 3. Our pool timer went to meet it's maker last week - dead as a door nail. We sent them an email on Sunday morning. I clearly was not expecting to hear back from them on a Sunday but I wanted to give them a heads up. By 3 pm the next day, our timer had been replaced. Unbelievable. 4. Our pool lights for some reason were out of sync. I e-mailed them, within about 20 minutes the owner himself responded and walked me through a few steps to reset them. Bam! My pool no longer looks like a psychedelic acid trip. I knew Rosmel was a great company when I hired them because I had done my research, but they continue to astound me. It is rare to find a company that AFTER the fact, still seems so invested in their customers. They truly stand behind their work and they take a lot of pride in what they do. Again Yelpers, when you consider building a pool, please also consider life AFTER the pool has been built. Things will happen, it's inevitable, but with Rosmel you can rest assured that it will be ok. You can't put a price-tag on that.

The company only works with Jandy pumps and did not provide me with any other option except replacing the entire pump, which I find unacceptable given the short lifespan. I expected higher-quality equipment and better customer support for a pool that is just over three years old. This experience gives the impression that there is little concern for the customer once the installation is completed.
