Just writing a follow up because I've been really appreciative of Dadeland Pool recently. My parents pool needed some maintenance beyond the normal pool cleaning, and the individuals at Dadeland Pool have been very helpful. We're really not knowledgeable on pool parts etc., so we asked a lot of questions. They were very patient, and were supportive when we mentioned taking their estimate elsewhere to see if it was standard. Their estimate was totally fair, and I appreciated that they weren't pushy and didn't try to rush us into a decision. The service was excellent, as usual. Glad to have found a reliable company for my parents. One less thing to worry about! One other note - there is a company with a very similar name that also works in the area called Dadeland Pool Plus. I think they're more of a pool supply company? I don't know, but I inadvertently called them a few times when trying to reach Dadeland Pool. It was def a little confusing before I realized what was going on. read more

If you are looking for a full service pool maintenance company then look no further! I highly recommend Dadeland Pool to anyone in the South Florida area! I had found out that the company I was previously using was not fully licensed and we're not qualified for pool maintenance which I should have realized given the cheap price. I did dome digging and realized most are not qualified! They don't have the licenses on their trucks so if anything were to happen to my pool they wouldn't be qualified to fix it! Naturally I went in search for a qualified company and found Dadeland Pool. They have a great reputation and have been around since the early 70's and most importantly they are fully certified! My pool is always clean and most importantly I love my pool tech! They do repairs and much more! Great service! I highly recommend! read more

WORST pool company ever. They will steal from you even during a hurricane. Hired them and they were charging me for full-service for $120 a month, we have cameras around our property and the technician would show up for less than five minutes and leave. When confronted, the owner was not helpful. I then decided to give them another chance as they said they would send a new technician out. After the hurricane they up charged me $175 and did nothing. The pool is still filthy. And they had the nerve to call to tell me that they were going to charge me extra. Avoid them at all costs. Do not use this company. Would've given zero stars if I could read more

We hired dadeland pools for our weekly pool service. After a few weeks of "full service" I noticed that our pool wasn't really clean. Our home has cameras all around so I pulled up the video...pool guy is on my property for exactly 3 minutes! Walks to the back throws something in and walks out. It takes him more time to write up the card noting "full service" and leave it at my front door. Called Dadeland pools, still waiting for a return call. Disappointed with this service. read more

When my pool pump motor bearings started getting "unbearably"loud recently, I looked to Dadeland Pool as I have dealt with them for many years in one form or another. This time, the very knowledgeable technician Ron Gauthier responded and expertly installed a new high-quality motor. He doesn't mind if you "look over his shoulder" and he patiently explains each step of the installation process. He also checked the impeller and made sure all gaskets and o-rings were lubricated and in good condition. The only critique I have is it took several days to respond to the service request. Mr. Gauthier explained this was due to 2 emergencies at his commercial accounts involving condos with many people needing the pool. My call was not an emergency and I appreciated the candor of his explanation of "pool triage". I would recommend Dadeland Pool for repair service and would use them again for future renovations. I clean my own pool, and cannot comment on their maintenance service. read more

The reviews are pretty accurate. I had to call their attention a few times because of the lack of service and detail in their work. They will hit you with an unexpected charge without letting you know. I was not happy with the company and decided to end the service. I had Dadeland Pool come out to my property to advise me whether the installation of a filter and pump to my pool by another company were done correctly because there was a leak coming from the filter, to re-plumb because the person who installed the filter and pump took out my ability to empty out the pool, and to replace the timer. The technician who came and identified himself as the owner of the company told me the job would cost me $275. I had dealings with this company many times before while it was owned by Dotty, and all the work was done in a good and workmanlike manner so I left the check in the housing of the timer and was not home when the job was suppose to be done. Big mistake! The guy who identified himself to me to be the owner of the company after Dotty sold or passed who did the work only replaced the timer. I called a couple of days later to ask what happened to the leak and to the re-plumbing and he told me he "was sorry but that he forgot". He made another appointment to come and finish the job. He did not show up. I called and he promised he would come "unless I'm dead". This time I was home when he came about 4:30 PM on a Wednesday. He did a half-ass job on the re-plumbing because he made the PVC pipe too short so that when I empty out the pool, the water will inundate the pool pump, and told me that the leak would cost me another $65 to $70 to repair and that he would have to come back another day because he had a meeting to go to then. I told him the leak repair was part of the $275 and he told me that I misunderstood. I argued with him to no avail so I agreed to have him come to finish the job. However, after he left and I thought about it, I was very angry because I felt I was being robbed by this company. I am a paralegal by trade and very detail driven and I know what I heard. I sent him a text cancelling his "appointment". I only share my story so that other customers will know how to deal with this company in the future. I know I will never deal with them again and will advice my family and friends about my experience. read more
