I stated that the photos were of a wedding and it was very important that they be recovered. The estimate I was given was $600 and I truly believe it was because they knew how important the photos were as other reviews have mentioned. I was able to talk them down to $350 and had no choice but to pay it, knowing it would be a simple recovery and that I was being charged twice as much as the original price I was told it would be if it was on the easier side of things. When I got the photos back the image quality had been affected and the file type had changed from RAW to JPG. As a photographer that needs RAW images to effectively edit the photos I brought the issue to their attention and they said that's all they could do. So not only did I over pay but they never mentioned I wouldn't be getting back the actual files that I lost in their true form. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and will not be giving them my business in the future.

I called the shop many times sometimes with an answer and sometimes with no answer. It also cost an additional $20 for a part that was needed(apparently it was broken when trying to make the original screen repair, yeah okay sure it wasnt damaged in the repair process and why is that cost falling on me) and when I picked up the computer the trim around the screen wasnt even attached properly. Thanks. Im also missing the rubber feet on the bottom of my laptop to keep it from sliding around which shouldnt have even been touched because it has nothing to do with the screen. On top of all that now I cant even log into my microsoft account. I was not made aware I should back up my files and now I have to reset my entire computer and lose everything. Christopher made me sign a form and pay $99 upfront, he said they will keep me updated throughout the process an the estimate repair date was 4/9, I was never updated they only called once but that only happened because I called them several times to check on it, I was told on 4/21 when I called them again that my HomePod was fixed and ready to be picked up, upon picking it up I paid $45 more. When I arrived home and plug in the device it didn't power on, was poorly reassembled as parts were coming out. I went back to get a resolution today 4/22 but unfortunately Christopher got defensive and said the most they can do is take another look, I explained to him that I didn't feel comfortable doing that due to the experience I had with them, he simply refused to make it right and this feels like scam to me.
