I searched all over the place using some apps online and just doing a Google search for residential shredding. I found many sources and put in a request for a quote. One was for AltitudeDocushred.com. The young lady I first spoke to was very helpful, professional, patient and pleasant. This is the first time I've had to do this, so I was not sure how it all worked and she explained it to me. I did a little more checking around and I realize that this company gave the best price and possibly the best service. I just had one problem they only come down to the Springs on Thursday. Greg Miller had emailed me to see if I still needed their services. He worked back-and-forth with me until I could come up with a time that I would be prepared for the shredding to happen. He was quite patient and understanding. It just so happened I was finished sooner and it was a Thursday morning. I called Greg and he was more than happy to accommodate me. He had his driver stop by at the end of the day!!! The young man knocked on my door and he was very professional, polite, pleasant and quite helpful. It took him all of 10 minutes, and that's going up and down steps, to get the job done. I was very grateful and so happy that I finally got rid of all this junk. I would recommend this company to anybody looking to have some shredding done. I've already referred them to a family member. They do shredding for businesses also. Check them out!! We had several years worth of old records needing to be shredded. I compared several companies and requested quotes from 3. This was back in 2020. Of the 3, Altitude came in lowest and was the 1st to respond. Several events interfered with our shredding plans and we had to postpone them. I reached out to Altitude 2 weeks ago and requested another quote. The quote came back even less than my 1st quote in 2020 so I procurred their services. They were able to schedule us in for today, June 27, 2022. Their representative, Spencer came by this morning. He was very pleasant, positive, friendly and courteous. He was also very fast and efficient at getting all 45 of our boxes transeferred to their bin and shredded on site. This was an excellent experience from quote to final service! I had to go through about 40 years worth of paperwork for an Estate Sale and needed to shred it quickly. I called Altitude DocuShred and the gentleman on the phone was very friendly and helpful. He gave me a date and time when he could come to the residence to do the shredding. Greg showed up exactly on time, two minutes early as a matter of fact! He was very friendly, nice, professional and explained how the shredding process works, even let me watch the papers going through the shredder on the little tv on the side of his truck. It took all of about 10 minutes, and he was done. Amazing! I didn't have to drive anywhere, didn't have to lug heavy boxes of paper anywhere, it was all done right in front of the house. I had 4 home computers that I needed to get rid of and I wanted to have their hard drives shredded. Other companies I checked weren't dealing with such small potatores, and only worked with businesses. I had a very good experience with them - the receptionist was helpful and informative, had me talk to a technician about my concerns with the shredding process, who was also very helpful. After I arrived, the technician, Spencer, removed the hard drives from all 4 in about 15 minutes while I waited, then had me witness the shredding of the hard drives to put my mind at rest that they were really destroyed and would not be salvageable anymore. He also assured me that the remainder of the computers would be recycled. The process cost a bit more than I was expecting, but I was glad to pay it to finally solve this problem. read more

I was derelict with writing a review last week after my 1st drop off and now getting back from my 2nd drop off and needed to immediately do Altitude Docushred justice. The attendant (sorry didn't retain her name) was extremely courtesy and professional and was great to work with on both occasions.
