Using the Apple Support app, I got a next-day appointment with plenty of flexibility. I dropped off my sick MacBook Pro, and the experience was far superior to what I'm accustomed to in typical mall Apple Stores - speaking as a long-time Mac user. Before formally submitting my device, "Connie" asked me questions and conducted a thorough problem-solving session. My options were further detailed by the Service Manager, "Sunni." As a former Applecare specialist, Sunni is a bastion of insider insight and realistic advice. Overall, the service was more transparent and MUCH more personalized than I'm used to - though just sitting in peace without waiting or straining to hear the staff was a treat, and it's comforting to know the business employs an *accessible* team of experts with different specialties. I learned more during today's intake than in all my past repair consults combined through the Apple Store. The positive reviews grabbed my attention, and I can see why they're successful. service is slow and extremely expensive. The only reason i went is because apple is so proprietary with parts they are hard to find. But they are trying to charge about 4x the price it costs for the parts and hours in labor for a 30 minute job. not to mention it took them 3 days to get around to diagnosing something that the computer self diagnosed before i brought it in and projected a week before a repair could be made. after receiving the part. i'm sure the price of the computer i brought in is currently less than the cost of the repair they are asking. Of course this makes it hard to trust them. All it takes is alittle know how about computers to understand what a scam this place is. read more

Aim High is licensed by Apple to work on Apple products! They are not a straight up 3rd party who may or may not actually be qualified, but are very knowledgeable and work closely with Apple. They are also referenced by Apple Support. A key on my computer stopped working so I took a chance by going there when I never had before. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with very well-informed and EXTREMELY friendly employees that could immediately identify the root of the problem and how to solve it. While they themselves did not have the means to fix it, they sent it to Apple for them to do so and kept me updated through the whole process and promptly returned it to me good as new. It's a very small business too so no crazy lines and waits like at Apple. Would highly recommend! Takes the same amount of time likely, but more convenient and full of people with great customer service skills who know how to fix your problem. Would give zero stars if I could. Made an appointment to get my iPad mini screen replaced as I went onto Apple's site and they were listed as a repair place. I made an appointment for 5 days later... Went in and then was told that they don't do iPad mini screen replacements there. Super frustrating after I went into Apple, listed iPad mini screen repair as what I needed and they were offered as a retailer. Made an appointment almost a week in advance, never heard a peep from them that they couldn't do it until I showed up for my appointment. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place and just go to Apple or Best Buy. read more

I had a trusty Mac that suddenly wouldn't boot up. I took it to an Apple store, and they couldn't read any data from the hard drive. I thought all the data was a gonner. I called up Aim High and asked if they did data recovery services. When I brought in the computer, not only did they replace the HDD hard drive with an SSD, but they fully recovered all data and restored the computer exactly the way it was prior. The only difference I could notice was the boot up being 10X faster :) The best part was they had the computer ready the very next day after I brought it in. read more

I have had two occasions to use the service of AIM HIGH! and both times, their services have been extraordinary. I had major issues with storage on my hard drive being affected in the first instance with an "ICloud" back up, and secondly with a major RAM failure which filled my memory incessantly. Both issues were handled by AIM HIGH! and specifically with one of their top technical guys, Zack Kesselhaut, of whom I cannot say enough positive accolades. He is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He seeks the correct solution and does his research so that the solution can be targeted and it's always worth the time and cost it in the end. A friend told me to check out this new business that does everything Apple, so I went in and met with Amy. Just walked right in, no wait! Right away I was put at ease; she was quite knowledgeable & immediately knew what was wrong. She took the time & explained what I was doing wrong & how I could make a few minor adjustments. Wow! Absolutely atrocious service. Someone named Kevin, claiming to be the manger of the store shouldn't be allowed to speak to customers. He ran diagnostics on the hardware of my computer. He told me nothing came back problematic on the hardware side. That's potentially good news. But he then proceeded to tell me that the results of the software checks I told him were done (either by me, or by the Apple Genius Bar) couldn't have been done the way I said they were (calling a customer a liar isn't a way to get off on a good start). He then proceeded to ask a few questions about what I had already told him we'd done. When I said yes to his literal first question, he proceeded to the next assuming I'd said no. After pointing out that he was continuing to not listen to what I was actually telling him, he proceeded to tell me he wasn't going to help me further, to come get my computer, and he hung up. I've never been treated so unprofessionally. Avoid! read more

Vince Hamm has worked on our families computers for many years. I cannot say enough good things about him and the service he provides for his customers and their computers. Finding the right IT person, when you are computer-challenged in the first place is like finding the right hair stylist, doctor, dentist or mechanic. Once you find one your love, you can't say enough about them, and never want to leave them. I went back to school about a year ago, completely online. My MacBook Pro has gotten quite the work out in the last 18 months. Somehow, I got some malware or something embedded, that was causing my computer to drain memory, even when I closed everything, deleted apps or programs I did not need anymore, deleted files, I still had issues. Vince and Amy to the rescue! I was a little panicked, as my next class started soon, but luckily they were able to figure out the issue in a timely manner and came up with a solution to hopefully prevent it from happening again. They have also done preventive maintenance regarding my battery replacement, and a check up, for lack of a better word. This means I can concentrate on my classes, and not worry about if my computer is going to make it through the class with the workload I have. They recently also started offering kids classes and information classes for people like me who are not sure what that Cloud thing is, and why should I use it? Go check them out. You will not be disappointed, The team there is awesome! Oh, and the location while a bit far out in Aurora, is great. Stanley Marketplace is really unique! Took my MacBook Pro in that I bought in 2013. I was working on something and it suddenly shut off. When rebooting I got a flashing folder with a question mark. I took it to Aim High on Dec. 29th and they had it done on Jan 2nd! It ended up being a simple hard drive cable that was replaced at a very reasonable price, I thought! Runs like new. I was in town for a gig which relied heavily on my MacBook Air, and the trackpad died just before my flight. Panic! The closest Apple Store couldn't fit me in, so I was referred to Aim High. I couldn't have been more pleased. Andrew and Kevin were kind, thorough, understanding, and excellent. My problem was amazingly (and creatively) fixed in about an hour, though I would've given 5 stars even if they couldn't have helped, for their kindness alone. It's the kind of place you'd recommend your mom or dad to go to for their tech needs. In fact, a few older people came in while I was waiting, and they were treated with such great respect and kindness by Andrew. Seems easy, right? Yup, but it's not always the case in the tech world. It was inspiring to watch. I don't know if I'll ever be back in the Denver area with tech needs, but if I am, this place will be my go-to.
