I was told it'll be 60$ in my mind I figured that a decent price because I know it'll be resolved quick well the guy couldn't get it to boot either than swapped out a psu and got it to boot. He said my psu was dead and that I need a new one. I thought it was odd because that psu was from an old build and since I boxed it up and put it away. It couldn't be dead. I went out and bought a new psu because the guy told me he can put in an off brand psu and if I wanted a better one I'd have to wait 3 days for it to arrive. Like i understand it's a small shop but when you have a pc center 15 min away why would you not have good psus in stock? So I went to micro center and got a psu. Plugged it in and was having the same issue with my pc not booting up. Long story short I figured out with the help of YouTube that my motherboard has 2 cpu power plug headers and turns out the small 4 pin plug is for extreme over locking only and there's no need to plug that in. I made the mistake of plugging it in using a spare pcie plug and that's why it wasn't booting. From someone that has way more experience than me I would have thought they would have caught that mistake very quick but nope I ending up paying 90$ instead of 60 and my psu was never dead but ended up spending another 100$ to buy a new psu so in the end shit deal if you ask me. Not going back.

It was quite busy, though a manager was efficient at directing customer to this direction or that. I went to the printing station. Mari helped me immediately. She was thorough, and worked for more than 10 minutes trying to get the item printed -- all to no avail. In some ways I felt redeemed that it wasn't just my faulty gray cells not working, there' s something wrong with the print instructions. But then I heard about Apple Rescue and brought it in where they immediately knew they problem and gave me a very reasonable quote. A few days later and they repaired everything perfectly, even fixing a couple problems I was unaware of. And most importantly, they did it for significantly less than any other shop had quoted me. Now in December 2025 the machine stopped working. It has a 10-year warranty so I called GE for service. I was told I would have to pay a trip charge of $115. When the tech arrived, I was told that the 10-year warranty only applied to the motor. The motherboard had malfunctioned on my machine, not the motor. Now that would cost $360. The motherboard I purchased has a 5-year warranty and 30-day service warranty. Here is what makes no sense to me: If the motherboard has a 5-year warranty now that I have paid to replaced it, why did the original motherboard only last 3 years, not 5 years? Make this make sense
