My husband is usually a laid-back guy who brushes off negativity, but his experience with this place left him upset when he got home. The folks were cordial when he dropped my laptop off, but when he went back to pick it up, the man working the desk commented on my husband wearing a mask (for their safety) and the guy proceeded to launch into his political and conspiracy theory views about why he doesn't wear a mask, why he doesn't understand the discord over the protests for stay at home orders but not over George Floyd murder, that COVID isn't any worse than the flu, etc... My husband just wanted to take the laptop home, which we then promptly scrubbed because this company clearly doesn't take COVID concerns seriously. I'm also annoyed a business would think it's okay to judge a customer for wearing a mask (to keep others safe), but wouldn't expect employees to take the health of customers seriously. The employee actually said at one point "If folks are worried, they should just stay home." read more

I wanted to upgrade my laptops memory , so I called pro computers looking for a external SSd card reader . Unfortunately he did not have them in stock , the store was super nice and said I could come down and use his while I was at the store .. I ended up having him clone my old ssd card and have him install it .. very helpful and nice would recommend this place of business in the future.. read more

The guy told me the battery is costing 100 and 50 for the labor. But only I found out the battery only cost 60 and they use the used battery or the half broken one to replace mine. It got bad 2 weeks after the repair. I have to replace it myself. Do not come to this shop. They don't do any good. read more

Vince is awesome at what he does. He charges by the job, not by the hour. His rates are very reasonable. I have been taking my computers to him for years. Even when I moved from Aurora to Thornton, I made that almost hour-long trek to his shop so that he could fix my computers. He also sells used computers, and he stands by his work if they start to fail on you. I almost don't want to recommend him because that would make him have way too many clients! I will recommend him though, because he is just that good. read more

Pro Computers is great company. Honest and integrity are qualities this company has. I took my daughters computer in to have the speakers fixed on her laptop and Vincent told me that it would take a week or so to get fixed. Without taking the computer apart he gave some suggestions on what it could be and how much it would cost. Which was very reasonable. I went in a week later, to see if it was ready, they were still waiting for a part. After talking I told him how long I had had my computer, under a year, and he mentioned it still might be under warranty. He looked it up for me and found that it was. He gave me the number to call. My elderly father stopped by Pro Computers to have his iPad battery replaced this week because it was dying unexpectedly, even after a battery charge. The owner claimed that he replaced it, but supposedly due to "indian fonts" the iPad still dies unexpectedly. Pro Computers charged him $35 for the service. I think Pro Computers doesn't have the skills / tools to do the battery replacement, and just took my father's money anyway. Whatever the case, they didn't fix it. read more

My pc died and I was ready to go MAC about 7 years ago. Walked in there with no hope. He saved all of my data and threw it on a refurbished MACbook pro that lasted 7 years! It died right before covid. Went back to him even though I live over an hour away. Again, he upgraded me to another refurb MacBPro that is a THOUSAND times better. Never have I been so thankful for the oldie to die. ha! This guy is amazing. Even though covid was happening at the time, he took time out to talk to me for nearly an hour about everything under the sun, not just my new Mac...I guess I needed some little socializing. Came here to get some data recovered after Best Buy couldn't (the Geek Squad really didn't know their stuff though) but although the guy couldn't help he was very amiable. Not that it was beyond his capabilities but rather he didn't have the equipment to assist me. I would recommend this place since they very friendly and respectful as well as explaining the problems. Also they do a free diagnosis and would call you to give a quote. My only downside is that I had to call to ask about the situation (not sure if he forgot or not) but I would definitely recommend to come here if you need to fix your computer or some other digital device. read more

I bought a laptop from one of the big box stores less than a year ago and the hard drive crashed. Although I had purchased the service plan from the retailer, it did not cover data recovery. I paid the fee at the big store for data recovery, but they were unable to recover the data. They offered to send off my laptop to their off-site recovery, but wanted a $50 deposit, quoted me a minimum of $450 up $1500 and said it would take 2+ weeks. I took the hard drive to Vincent at Pro Computers. His price was well under what I had been quoted by the chain store and he had it to me by the end of the day. Very efficient professional work at a fraction of the cost. I was very concerned that I had lost all of my priceless family photos. I took my son's MacBook to this shop because the charge port was not working. The gentleman at the shop gave me fair quote up front to diagnose and wanted 24 hours to look at it. He called me the next day and explained that he found the problem and will be able to fix it with parts all for $79.99 and I readily accepted and by that afternoon it was all fixed. He was courteous and professional and very calm. This helped my son a lot since all his class work and school stuff were on this laptop and exams were knocking at the door! I am very pleased with this repair shop's service. If I had to go the apple repair route it would have taken me at least week and probably would have spent more! This was fast and efficient service. I brought my laptop in to remove a virus. Vincent suggested the laptop be backed up and wiped. I accepted the suggestion and paid for a complete backup to be performed prior to the wipe. Vincent asked NO questions about what to backup. They did not check the C drive, where ALL of my files were stored - five years worth of files, college homework, resumes, etc. The only exception was my music, which iTunes backs up automatically. When I brought this to Vincent's attention as soon as I got it home, he said I should have told him specifically that was where my data had been stored and that he thought he checked there. Two years prior I had brought the same laptop to them for the same issue and it was returned to me without losing any of my files. Everyone makes mistakes, but how Vincent handled it was the problem. I had to ASK for a refund for the complete backup (and still paid for the virus removal), and Vincent replied something to the effect that if that would help me to sleep at night, he would do it. Not once did he offer one word of apology but was quick to point out he had backed up my music (again, something useless as my iPod backs it up). When I got home with the laptop, I discovered they had removed Microsoft Home and Student and did not replace it. To re-install it, a key was required. I called Dell (who I bought the laptop from) and they told me it was a one-time key. It took quite a bit of prompting to get Pro Computers to re-install the software they removed without tracking the original key or discussing the necessity of retaining it with me prior to the wipe. I would NEVER do business with them again due to their incompetence and, more importantly, Vincent's attitude over a mistake that was so impacting to me. read more

I brought my wife's little laptop in to Vince last summer to get repaired. The AC adapter would no longer charge the computer so we needed help to get that area of the laptop fixed. These guys did so for around $120 (half the price of the laptop really but we agreed to pay). Fast forward to February and the laptop has stopped charging once again. A little plastic piece fell off of the area where the Pro Computers guys worked on before. I brought the laptop back and filled out a form and left it with Vince. He told me he wasn't sure what the problem was or even if they could fix it, but that they would give us a free quote and let me know. Seemed fair enough. I made sure he knew this was essentially the same issue as the last time we brought it in. So I was patient and waited about 10 DAYS and didn't receive a phone call from these guys. I finally decided to give them a call so I could see what was up with our laptop and why it was taking so long. Vince answered and it quickly became apparent that these guys didn't even bother to look at the laptop while they had it all that time. What's worse, is he quickly "diagnosed" the issue while on the phone with me (why couldn't he do that when I was there?) and then said all they could do for me is to charge me all over again for the same repair. He also pretty much accused me of letting our kids break the laptop (there was a princess sticker we let our little girl put on the back of the laptop). After being treated this poorly I could not wait to get off the phone, so I pretty much said no thanks - it's not worth paying that much again. To be honest, these guys really should have just provided better service and guaranteed their work from before. If they had just fixed the laptop for us without charging another $100+ I probably would have become a loyal longtime customer. Actually, if they had even just called me and been straight forward about not wanting to help us, that would have been good enough for me. Instead, I am left leaving you guys this review and warning you from ever coming here! Go elsewhere, anywhere else. read more
