They said the earliest time they could come to my house was on April 23, 2023 between 12-3 PM. They never showed up and never called to cancelled. I called them at 3.oo PM and they said the tech was delayed and I would have to be rescheduled on Saturday: a bit inconvenient. They offered no credit for my time waiting for them. Apparently, my time was not worth anything. Very disappointed in their service and I would not recommend this company.

To have the tech saying, "I realized I am damaging your screen more, but thats okay you are getting a new one". As he cracks my screen even more that it was when he got there. The I ordered over $500 worth of parts only as the tech came out to tell me I had ordered the wrong parts and that he could glue my computer together but could not guarantee that it would be fixed. They made multiple appointments with me, cancelled on a whim and did not even tell me until I called to confirm appt. I lost so much money by cancelling clients. To abuse customers during this very difficult time for all of us is incomprehensible and they did it multiple times. I would wait for 4 hours, clear my schedule, losing very precious income only to have them tell me at 7:00PM that they would not be there, that they ran out of time. They exaggerate what is wrong with your computer telling you it will take hours when it is a simple fix. "THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE'. They send what they call technicians out to you that have to "read the directions as to how to fix your computer" all the time using up the very expensive time you are paying for. Then the company argues with you and turns it around to gaslight you and tell you "it was your fault". We are all struggling enough right now but to have a company exploit you, lie to you and abuse you is not acceptable and I lost over $500 in my dealings with Karl's Technology and now I am out all that money and my computer my brand new lap top is "unfixable" and has been for the last 6 months that this has gone on. Thank goodness for Geek Street Computers. A tiny independent shop that has good karma and good smells radiating from it. Besides repairing computers, they also sell used PCs and laptops, as well as computer components.The shop is fair in its repair prices and retail goods but you definitely get more than you pay for. The staff is some of the brightest and kindest I have met in my adventures in Geekdom, neither being dopey nor elitist. My only complaint stems from a miscommunication I had with the owner over a repair. While the details are not important, he still tried to make it up to me both in advice and in supplies. So whether you have a destroyed Dell or a mangled Mac, bring it on in. Oh, and avoid the 2600 block of south Broadway if you are a minority with a broken computer.

I have done the few things he has advised me to do and have come to him with the same issues over and over again. I have provided screen recordings, screenshots, and have offered to provide any additional evidence necessary to address the tech issues I am having. Each time I am brushed off, told to change a setting (which I have changed all of the settings he has advised, changed all my passwords, used Authenticator apps, etc.) with no improvement. I feel he means well but assumes the issues I am having are me just inflating issues or not that these issues could not possibly happen to an average everyday person, this refusing to actually look at the problem for what it is.
