The receipt to my initial repair
    Eric G.

This place takes poor customer service to a whole new level. With limited places that actually repair apple watches other than the apple store i personally try to go and support local business with the hope of a possible return relationship for any other mac repair or references. I recently purchased a new apple watch series 5 and made the stupid choice of not adding a screen protector or even insured it right away and accidentally dropped the watch on a concrete floor causing it to crack. Calling around this place seemed to be best bang for your buck. With labor and material the cost was $250 also with the assurance it would be about 3 days for pick up. I picked up the watch everything looked fine it was dead however and the lady who checked me out was real sweet mention how she was the Technician and asked to leave a good review prior to purchased and she'd discount $10. Taking it home i noticed the screen was kinda loose so i called back and they said to wait a while bc the glue was still drying (nothing mention prior to my departure) after a while and putting it on the sensitivity of the apple watch was all over the place so i went ahead and returned it to the owner said they call me back with the Diagnostic, i never from them till i called back 3 days later then was given the excuse that they were waiting on the glue to dry. So i called the next day and was told that the watch's main "chip"was dis functional and they perhaps would have to send it to a third party and they'd give me the amount it was going to be to fix? "WTF.......!" I simply said I'd prefer to take the watch back as it was turned in and refunded? Charlie (the owner said thats fine itll be ready the next day ). I came in around noon the owner no where to be found they mentioned he was at a doctors appointment . As the cashier comes around and bring me my watch i notice the entire screen was pulled off after that I was adamant to speak to the order so they called him from the landline. After what was a waste of time and money the owner felt that the screen didn't need to be on considering it was the reason why I initially went in to get it fixed. Also he'd be returning the full amount so therefore why did he need to owe me anything back????? After the service that was displayed from this establishment and the poor management and communication I highly suggest you guys get insurance for your devices and just stick to the masters and not the rookies. I simply went in for a cracked screen and came back with a busted watch due to Incompetence.

White border around edges. Starts out as a very white screen but fades to this smaller white border after it's been running for a few hours.

I got excellent service and price on a MacBook Pro battery replacement. No surprise charges, plenty of parking right in front.

They are very thorough, knowledgeable, and always do a good job. I wish it was a hair faster, but do get that they are in demand.

In total, it took 1 month for him to tell me that my laptop wasn't worth repairing. For his trouble, I paid him $40. Details follow: He said my DC jack repair would take 3-4 days and cost $150 (seemed reasonable). I week later, I hadn't heard from him so I called. He said, "we haven't received the part yet, I'm expecting it later today. I'll give you a call when your laptop's ready." No big deal right? But no, I got no call that day. I didn't hear from him for another week, so I called back. This time he said, "I think we got that part on Saturday (2 days earlier) so it should be ready this afternoon. I'll call you." Okay, 2 weeks in. But at least I'll have my laptop back this afternoon. NOPE. No call. I called back 3 days later. He said they'd tried the new DC jack and it didn't fix the problem. He said they'd try it again and give me a call in about 30 minutes to tell me how it went. No call. 2 days later he called and said the DC jack wouldn't fix the problem and that the motherboard needed replacing. The repair would now cost $340, but he said it'd be ready in 3-4 days. I emphasized that I needed the laptop back ASAP and I was willing to pay for express shipping on the part. He said he'd call back in 5 minutes with estimates. Keeping with the theme - I received no call. 1 week passed (we're at 3 weeks in). I called him. He said he still hadn't received the part, but (as you've probably guessed) he was expecting it that afternoon and he'd give me a call when it's ready. I heard nothing from him for the next few days. I called a few times to ask for an update, and got no answer. I finally got through to him 1 week later (at the 1 month mark). He said, the motherboard repair wasn't working. The laptop required more repairs than it was worth. I could pay him for the diagnostic ($40) and collect the laptop. I realized that I'd been trusting a bumbling amateur to fix my laptop. He was simply guessing what was wrong. He didn't know how long it would take to get parts (his 3-4 day quotes were a joke). He didn't know how much the parts would cost (his motherboard quote was off by $80). And he didn't care to communicate the progress of a lengthy repair with his customer. I'm certain that if I'd never called him, we would still have my laptop sitting on his shelf, and I'd be in the dark. He lacked the professional courtesy to get back to me with crucial information. Indeed he never called me at all, except to approve the mother board repair (keep in mind he said he'd get back to me no less than 4 times). I paid him $40 to play mechanic with my laptop for a month. Time wasn't an issue for him, though it was very important to me. It's sad when Geek Squad is actually the better choice for PC repair. Steer clear, you've been warned. The other reviewers must have gone somewhere else.

The last straw was when I asked them to repair my son's laptop he used for college. They not only didn't fix it, they moved, and wouldn't respond to calls, emails or texts. I finally tracked down a partner through their old landlord and he met me at a gas station to return my son's computer months later - still broken.
