    Sashimi

Omg, had the nicest server in my life. She was such a cute older Asian lady, and was so generous, she gave us free food to go since the restaurant was closing . We were the last people in the restaurant but she kind enough to not rush us, and even helped pack our leftovers. Besides the service, food was good, I liked the creativity of the rolls, especially the samurai sushi roll. It's one where they don't put too much rice, and wrapped in white seaweed. The sashimi pieces are generously fat too. Ambiance is good, lots of seating both inside and outside.

Good quality fish and decent portion for the price but if you order togo or pickup they won't fulfill any note requests. Requested side of spicy mayo (bc not an option to order) and salted edema. Not too crazy of requests, in my opinion.

The all you can eat sushi is amazing and such a good price for what you can get. The vibe and service are always great as well.

Decent sushi option if you want to fill up with the AYCE and don't care about high-quality sushi, but the orange chicken was not great. The lunch combo came with chicken fried rice (no flavor), and a small crab rangoon and spring roll. But the orange chicken itself was drenched in sauce. I absolutely love sauce but this was overdoing it. As another Yelper mentioned, their dishes are way oversauced, which then ruins the flavor.

I've never been here, I had to call ahead to make sure there's no dress code and there's not lol. I was hungry but not too too hungry. I was thrown off by how cheap everything is here! I ordered chicken katsu (no curry :( ). I wasn't expecting much for $14, until they came out with 2 large cutlets!! The wonton soup had 4 wontons in it and it was very tasty! The soups were our favorite! I really want to try the house wonton now! We got spring rolls, hoping for the healthier option we see lately, but got fried ones. The sashimi we ordered were so THICK!! We definitely ordered way too much food! The check was about $52 after taxes and we got a lot of food! This place is definitely worth it. And they have all you can eat sushi and sashimi for $34.95/person. I think I may have filled up on water when I drank 6 glasses. Oh, everything pretty much comes out all together, so there's no real break between soups and appetizer and main course. The ladies waiting the tables were very tentative, refilling water, removing empty plates and replacing condiments. Definitely recommend this place if you love sushi and sashimi!

I have never had a bad experience here. I order to go usually and it's always delicious. Never had food poisoning from raw fish which I normally order. I love the Philly hand roll. They use slivers of salmon and not cubes thankfully and it's delicious. I even got a free drink which was very nice. And they always read my notes and super accommodating. I don't really like red tuna and every time I ask to have it not included they listen! Just the attention to what I ask for is incredible. The restaurant is a bit small but it's cozy and wonderful. Perfect for date night or meeting up with some friends

Service is always the best--fast, courteous, and friendly. The food is excellent, and great value. This is the first place I think of when I don't want to cook.

Lunch special was cheap at under 10 bucks, but food quality left a bit too be desired. The chicken with vegetables was doused with so much brown sauce, it was inedible, salty and disgusting. They put a whole jar on top of the food. Spring roll was tiny and burnt. Not a good lunch.

ALL YOU CAN EAT. that's all I need to say lol the service was great, super attentive since we got there and they took our order in right away, our server would periodically come check on us and take our new orders. Everything we tried was tasty and we would definitely go back. It's a small place but the outside seating was great and shaded and we truly enjoyed trying this chill place.

I like that they use purple rice for all the sushi here, it's healthy and also adds a bit to the flavor. Fish is fresh and portion sizes are generous - I mean that in a way that the rolls and sushi fill you up quite quickly without the rolls being too large in size. The balance between fish and rice is a solid ratio, although I'll say that everything started to taste quiet similar after a while and I couldn't really differentiate between the different rolls. Anyways, overall a solid sushi spot in Scottsdale, AZ. Mt Fuji Roll- Love that they top with raw scallop! Yellowtail Carpaccio - Fresh and vibrant, jalapeno adds a nice kick Havana Roll - The mango brings brightness to the roll 5 Nigiri & Crazy Roll - Value combo, the bluefin tuna quality is good

Upon arrival, the place doesn't look like anything special. It's inside a strip mall, and looks mediocre. However, do not judge too soon. Once you get inside, everything is well laid out & it's very nice. It was busy when we went in on a Friday night, BUT we got seated quicker than estimated- which is always a win! I was not happy with where we were seated, as it was facing the wall in the small bar area. We are people watchers by nature, so it's always fun to be in a spot where we can look around the room effortlessly. However, it wasn't the end of the world and I certainly didn't want to wait any longer, the food looked wonderful & I was starving! I do not remember exactly which rolls we got, but... all of them were EXCELLENT!! Everything was undoubtedly fresh, and made with quality ingredients. I thought the black rice was really neat! I've never seen that before. The waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating. It took no time at all to get our orders out, which was impressive considering that the place was packed near capacity! As we left, all of the sushi pros behind the glass thanked us for coming in and wished us a great rest of our evening. I thought that was very kind. It's not very often that you find a whole line of people stopping what they are doing to wish you well on your way out of their establishment. All in all, 10/10 experience! I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Sushi!

We were a party of 12 visiting on vacation, and none of us are from the area. We ordered spam musubi and a chicken skewer as appetizers. Both appetizers arrived well after our entrees had already been served and we had essentially finished eating. Each time we asked about them, we were repeatedly told, "They're coming." Mind you, these are simple appetizers that should not take anywhere near that long to prepare. When we asked for the third time, we finally asked that the appetizers be cancelled since we had already finished our meal. At that point, the gentleman working the front area , tall, with red hair, loudly yelled from across the restaurant, in an extremely rude and confrontational tone, "It's already on the grill!" There was absolutely no reason to speak to paying customers that way. His response was unprofessional, unnecessary, and honestly created a very hostile and uncomfortable feeling during what should have been an enjoyable dinner, especially while our group was on vacation and simply trying to enjoy a meal together. When the appetizers eventually came out, we left them sitting there because we were already done eating and ended up taking them to go. He eventually told us they would be removed from the bill, which we appreciated, but that did not excuse the way the situation was handled. Again, the food was good, but good food does not make up for poor service and especially not for an employee speaking to customers in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. Management should seriously address how customers are treated, because the interaction with this particular employee overshadowed what could have otherwise been a good dining experience for our party of 12.

Can't believe they actually served it like that to their paid customers to be honest. And the agedashi tofu was not fried at all so it was completely mushy which is not how I expected it. I like that Salmon roe sushi was bite size small. Over all the sushi weren't bad but the rice was bit on the sat around /undercooked on some part of the rice. Over all fish was OK on the quality but you get what you pay for. I did not try some of the other side menu items due to not being able to over stuff myself like I used to. And the gyoza had just the right amount of kick to them. We had both the hamachi crudo and the halibut crudo. They were both delicious, but the hamachi was the standout. Hamachi is usually a little too fishy for me, but this just melted in my mouth and left me wanting more. We also had one of the specials, the 808 roll. Never got my water refilled, had to flag them down to put in more food, that sorta thing. The vibes- thought the bar was pretty lit and is prob pretty fun during HH. The food- overpriced for what you get and portion size while the fish and flavors being a smidge above average. I left still hungry after getting the gold omakase, bad and buri roll, and hamachi crudo. The hamachi was the best part of the meal but I'd still expect at least 5 pieces for the price. Anyways, this spot will hit the spot if you have a sushi craving. I can't vouch for the drinks but I assume it more than checks the box in that regard judging by the menu, selection, and vibe. When we arrived, I felt a little scolded for making our reservation through OpenTable, even though that's the platform Arizona Restaurant Week directed us to when we clicked the reservation link. That left me a little confused as to why OpenTable is listed as an option in the first place. We were also seated right next to the only other two guests in the restaurant, despite there being plenty of empty tables. I understand the seating choice a little more once the restaurant started filling up, but at the time, it made us feel a bit awkward and crowded. Thankfully, the **food was the highlight of the experience--and it was delicious!** I wasn't a huge fan of the crispy rice, but the cucumber salad was SO good. I also ordered the Dragon Roll, which was delicious. We ordered from the Arizona Restaurant Week menu, and choosing the steak made it an especially great value. The menu included an appetizer and dessert as well, so there was a lot of food for the price. Angela took great care of us throughout the meal. I do wish she had been a little more accommodating when our sushi roll presentation accidentally fell, but overall, she was attentive and friendly. There was also a little mix-up with the salmon belly nigiri. We thought it was included in happy hour, but it turns out regular salmon is on the happy hour menu while the salmon belly is not. Honestly, after trying it, I don't think the belly was really worth ordering anyway! There were definitely a few things about the experience that put me off, but now that I know what to expect, I'd approach things differently next time to hopefully have a better experience. **At the end of the day, the food won me over.** I'll definitely be back for happy hour because it looks like they have a really good one!
