I would give this store a 5 star rating regardless of the following story. I was visiting DC from out of town. We came to Nordstrom Rack to find reasonably priced clothing for a wedding, which they delivered on. While I was looking through the fabulous shoe selection, I must have dropped my wallet. Contents of the wallet were the standard: id, credit cards, cash ($45), but also included prescription sunglasses. The wallet itself was my mother's. After our Metro ride back to Eastern Market, I realized I didn't have my wallet. Once my initial panic subsided, I began to retrace my steps, riding the Metro back to Pentagon City. I looked, and looked, but no luck. I went back to my son's place feeling defeated. Fast forward a few months, the day before my birthday, I got a package from Nordstrom Rack at Pentagon City. I figured it was a gift from my son, remembering something I liked back in March. Well...imagine my utter surprise and astonishment to find the package contained my long lost WALLET!!!! Not only the wallet, but ALL the contents as well (YES, even the money)!! I was overjoyed!! My faith in humanity restored. WHAT a birthday present!! Having said all this (and good for you for sticking with this comment, lol!), I want to publicly acknowledge and THANK from the bottom of my heart, Jayla and the staff of this fine store!! THANK YOU SO MUCH :)

She was the weirdest and scariest lady I have ever met. Absolutely so disgustingly rude. I was at the checkout and I tried and make a conversation with her and she completely did not respond. When she was taking the black button thing off my dress she completely started banging it on the table and the beads were coming off of my dress. At the end she threw the bag at my face and i said thank you and she completely ignored me. Never in my years that I have lived here have I seen someone act so rude. She maybe has MENTAL problems or something because she was half crazy. I hope they fire her immediately. Never shopping at that store ever again.

This is a Christian women's clothing and accessories store but you probably wouldn't notice it at first glance because of all the gorgeous soft floral dresses & blouses on display. However, they have hand lettered signage with some quotes from the Bible. Among their other products, they sell fragrances, coffee mugs, jewelry, handbags and Bibles. Walking around the store is a little reminiscent of Hollister & Abercrombie because of a faint scent from one of their perfumes spritz around. My husband got me one of their beautiful ESV 2 column cloth-bound journaling Bible and few little decor pieces from them. I'd never seen anything like it. Prices are a little on the pricey side (e.g. dresses are averaging over $100). Service is fantastic--attentive and friendly. While browsing around, a lady approached me (with a floral crown) and asked if I needed any assistance. And my husband was able to get 15% off the retail value of the Bible he got me because there were a few minor imperfections, like a frayed corner. Worth checking out!
