I just bought a dress from Windsor Pentagon city, and there was this lady. I don't remember her name but she had a lot of piercing on her ears and face and she wore all black. She was the weirdest and scariest lady I have ever met. Absolutely so disgustingly rude. I was at the checkout and I tried and make a conversation with her and she completely did not respond. When she was taking the black button thing off my dress she completely started banging it on the table and the beads were coming off of my dress. At the end she threw the bag at my face and i said thank you and she completely ignored me. Never in my years that I have lived here have I seen someone act so rude. She maybe has MENTAL problems or something because she was half crazy. I hope they fire her immediately. Never shopping at that store ever again. read more

We found the perfect homecoming dress, thanks to Jennifer. She was an amazing sales associate! The dress was a great price and the store wasn't crowded at all. A great selection, too! We just happened to walk by after leaving a Macy's looking fit for so dresses when we passed by. The selection from outside the store liked lovely so we decided to pop in and see what they had to offer. There is a wide selection of formal dresses from long to short, one piece and two pieces. In addition to dresses they also have a wide range of accessories and shoes to complete your entire look in one visit!! The store is well organized with fit so on the left and casual on the right. Staff was friendly and freely assisted with getting some dresses down for the kiddo to try on as well. I do recommend trying your items on pre purchase as some things, especially the formal dresses are non returnable. Just be patient, they only have three dressing rooms and the line builds up fast. read more

if you are buying a dress from Windsor don't because if it's on a mannequin they will not give it to you because they're too lazy to take them off the mannequins EVEN THO YOUR A PAYING CUSTOMER BUT NOOOO!!! anyways, I was trying to buy a dress from Windsor, but it was on a mannequin for homecoming and I asked one of the workers there if I can get it and they said the exact words." my manager told me we don't wanna change our mannequins, so no, you can't have it." and I'm like but I'm gonna pay for it and she was like it doesn't matter so moral of the story if you want to shop at Windsor, make sure the dress you want is not on a mannequin or you will not get it. Absolutely the worst customer service experience of my life. I have never been treated so terribly in my life and if I could give no stars I would. Today, at Windsor, I picked out some dresses and walked toward a fitting room to try them on. Another woman was walking in front of me, she took an open room on the right, so I took an open room on the left. I have been to many Windsor stores before and tried clothes on before too, no one has ever required that they let me into the room, I've always been able to just walk into an open room. There were some crumpled clothes left on the bench so I figured the previous person had tried those on, not wanted them, and left them in the room as many people do in many stores. My shirt is off and I'm stepping into a dress when theres a knock at my door and then the following conversation occurs: Man: EXCUSE me?! Me: Yes? Man: You cannot just TAKE someone else's fitting room. Me: Oh, sorry I didn't know someone was using this. Man: Aren't there CLOTHES in there?? Me: Yes, but I thought those were clothes someone didn't want and left here. Man: They aren't. This is someone else's room so you need to GET OUT. Me: Okay, can I at least get dressed first? (this is when my tone changes and I start to be annoyed by his tone) Man: Well yeah, but I'm just letting you know you can't just walk in to another person's room! Me: Okay, I understand - Man: Don't get mad at ME because YOU took someone's room! This lady is REALLY mad that you TOOK her room! Me: Okay, I'm sorry I didn't know - Man: AND you can't just WALK IN to the rooms you need to ASK US and we need to LET YOU IN! Me: Okay, the person in front of me did so I didn't know I thought that's how it was here and - Man: That's DOESN'T matter! You can't just go in we need to LET YOU in! Me: Okay! I'm sorry! He then finally walked away and I heard him, not far away, talking to other people saying "Yeah she was getting SO mad and being SO rude to me, like it's not MY fault you took someone's room you can't just DO that!" To speak to a customer that way, and continue to berate them when they are not arguing with you and are doing what you've asked is absolutely uncalled for. Even if I was being rude (though he was CLEARLY being rude first) you DO NOT talk to customers that way. On top of that, you ESPECIALLY don't openly talk about them and insult them to other people in the store while the customer is still there and can clearly hear you. I put all 4 dresses back and ran out crying. I called customer service and told them what happened (while still crying) and emailed customer service right after. I love the Pentagon City store was in there Saturday and Maurice was so helpful and attentive. He helped my wife and daughter find outfits for that evening, he even recommended a amazing brunch spot which we enjoyed. His personality and energy was so welcoming, it was great seeing a smart young man work so calmly and alert especially in a time like this. My husband decided to buy me some outfits from Windsor and needless to say, his choice of clothing didn't appeal to my taste at all. I took a trip to this location and was greeted by manager Maurice. His smile and pleasant personality made me feel at ease since I don't frequent this store. Nonetheless, Maurice helped me select outfits that were more of my choice and conducive for my job. I was able to return the items purchased and received a gift card without any qualms. The staff at Windsor to include Dustin and Sonia are wonderful reps. Although Windsor wasn't my first choice for clothing (my two teenage daughters shop here, lol), but I'll definitely will return to this specific location just to shop and visit Maurice, Dustin, and Sonia. Literally so mean for no reason. All Windsor's are like that. The dresses are SOOO cute but as a paying customer i dont like the way they time you in the dressing room and if they ask if you are done dressing because their is a line. It's absolutely ridiculous. This one was by far the WORST Windsor i have been too. The woman was so rude who was manning the fitting rooms, and so was the cashier. If they were a little bit happier, maybe they would have more business. But as of now, i wont be going back and I'll just hit up the forever 21 for a party dress, where the people are nicer and it's also CHEAPER. Thanks for nothing Windsor!
