I saw all of my fav brands at great prices. They have a huge selection of high-end wear for a great price. They have a huge selection of summer, spring and winter wear. The cosmetics and body care... chef's kiss!! They have everything in every color/ scent/ size!! Cool accessories, luggage galore, etc. I did not take a gander at the shoes as I had a show nearby to attend. I bought 2 gorge blouses and a short sleeve loose fitting denim blue top. One plus I will say about this Nordstrom Rack location, is that they carry a large selection of men's business and casual clothing. This location carries tons of business suits, dress shirts, ties and business casual slacks-pants. I think the reason for this is because this location is centrally located in the downtown DC area and business district that is primarily surrounded by law offices, lobby firms, consulting firms and federal government agencies. You often don't find this at a lot of Nordstrom Rack and bargain clothing, places like Marshall's/TJMaxx around the DMV. There are also tons of men's athletic shoes, casual sneakers, great running shoes and dress shoes. In all, you can't go wrong shopping here. Although, the Pentagon City location is more my speed. This location is not all bad. Lots of good finds and decent customer service. Just have a little patience and time to roam around this treasure trove!

This shop is staffed by older white and one black grumpy woman It is staffed by volunteers mostly, some of whom are rude, disagreeable and apparent racist -others with poor customer service skills. The shop is small and on some days it has too many volunteers and the space is crowded. Occasionally it has art by fairy well known artists. I told a clerk that I needed to ask some questions about a painting I was interested in perhaps buying. As we were walking toward the piece which was located in the entry way, she began to make degroatory statements before I could ask my question. She said: 1. It's the summer so will can not hold anything; 2. We can't reduce the price; 3. They want to sell stuff as soon as possible. I repeated that I had a question about the painting. She would not let me asked the question but kept on assuming that I wanted some type of special service. Finally I was able to ask," If this a collage or a painting. She said, " a collage otherwise it would cost more. " She was an African American women named, Annie. She was rude and very disrespectful. We went back in the shop to ask about the volunteer who handles art at the shop but he was not available. Another volunteer accompany me outside to discuss the painting. He said he thought it was a collage. Without my being aware, Annie followed us outside. After the volunteer's answer she began to wave her hands and bowed down saying," I told you so," I told you so." I sent my complaint to the manager of the Opp shop, Courtney, on July 11th who usually response well to my concerns and questions in person and to the Rev. Bertie Pearson the rector on July 17 as of this day, July 28th, I have not heard from either one. I do admire the charities that the shop donates its proceeds; however, they need to respect all clients regardless of race or other circumstances. The behavior of some people working here is unacceptable!

It seems like they're trying to create some aura of exclusivity, but this isn't Hermes or Chanel... Once inside the staff was helpful and friendly, but many items I was interested in were unavailable/sold out in small sizes. Overall I'd suggest shopping online.

That was her first trip to the store . only after she paid she got the receipt which stated what the return policy is which is ridiculous because you need to know your rights before you buy something. Their customer service is insulting as well. I keep calling their main office and they hang up as soon as they recognize my voice. This situation is simply ABSURD. I cannot believe that it's happening in this country. You buy something over apparently low quality and then you cannot even return it for your own money back.
