Matcha was delicious and refreshing, however the entire center of my quiche was cold :/

This store is a breath of fresh air, a lovely respite from a world flooded with cheap, artificial, one-time-use products. Trade Roots is curated with thoughtful gifts, clothes, home decor, jewelry, and knick knacks. I walked in recently and immediately saw the perfect gifts for some friends. Everything here is so beautiful and unique. It's not one of those boutiques where everything is just resold from Amazon with a green washed label. The Trade Roots website explains why the fair trade, sustainable mission is important to the store. The food and drinks are delicious here, too! There is some seating inside, as well as tables outside that face the main drag in Westover. Come for a chai and some housewares, leave feeling happy.

Fair trade shop and caffe. Had a lovely chai latte on a cozy bench listening to Bob Marley and the sound of wind chimes. Yummy for the tummy and the feast for the eyes. Friendly staff and chill vibes. Outdoor seating is very popular and located near the Westover Farmers market and library. Will come again!

My first stop when I need to buy a gift for someone! Beautiful jewelry, mugs, kitchen and home supplies/decor, candles, clothes, etc!! It's also a great place to grab coffee/wine with a friend or get some work done. The wifi was reliable and there was enough seating for everyone that needed it.

Very nice neighborhood gem. A little coffee shop, bar, tea house, eatery, and craft shop all in one nice little old building. Nice staff too. Also a nice place to just sit outside and watch traffic and people go by. I will be coming back again... and I almost forgot to mention that they have an okay craft beer selection, including a few difficult-to-find imported beers (hope to see some South African beers in the future, too, which I know where to find)

Server Kelly M. took our order for a Caesar Salad, Margarita Pizza and a glass of red wine (light meal). A different person delivered the salad and pizza to us, and the food was good. However, we never saw Kelly from the time she took our order until we finished eating. She then showed up with an empty wine glass, said the wine order did not get put in, and asked if I still wanted it. I said "no" since we were done with our meal. At that time, I requested the Cheesecake w/cherries for my complimentary dessert, a small box for pizza, and the check. More than 20 minutes later, Kelly brought a box and the check, but no dessert. She then asked if I "had decided" on a dessert. I repeated that I would like Cheesecake with cherries. After nearly 30 minutes there was no sign of our waitress and no dessert. We were not happy at this point, left cash payment on the table, and walked out. We have eaten at Reston 60 Vines multiple times. No complaints about previous visits; food and service were very good. However, due to the long waits, inattention, and mistakes by our server on this visit, we were very disappointed. We felt management should be aware of this so they can correct the problem. I'm sure you expect better from your employees. We will have to think twice about dining on your patio this summer. Linda

Located just off the bustle of King St., Brut sits unassumingly among the Old Town townhomes. You could easily walk past, and not notice it at all. But, if you've dialed in Brut as your destination, be prepared to step in to an oenophile's wet dream. The establishment is both a bottle shop and a wine bar. Every bottle in the joint is carefully curated. There is no junk...no fluff...no quid to subsidize quo...all excellence, from any country or region your heart may desire. Do your Christmas shopping here, for sure. That shopping is going to make you thirsty, so pony up to the small but well appointed bar. Its no easy thing to find a bar with a good "wine by the glass" list, but Brut manages that task with ease. From your sauvignon blancs, through the pinots, to full bodied reds...take a flight of fancy, and walk home well fortified. Since the bar is small, and seats are at a premium, the owner Dustin does a masterful job of weeding out the Riff-raff. Trust me when I say that watching it is far better than TV. I cannot recommend this cool little spot more highly. Maybe I'll see ya there sometime!

It has become the definitive home base for several of my local groups, and for good reason. The "No Agenda - Just Coffee" Crowd Since October 2025, this has been the quarterly meeting point for a group I help organize (2 entire meetings so far!). We bring together a mix of IT-centric CxOs, startup founders, innovators, govtech, thought leaders, and industry insiders. The beauty of the space is that it handles the "no structure, no rules" vibe perfectly. We show up, grab pastries, and just hang out. It's a low-key break from the grind, and the staff handles the morning rush with impressive efficiency. The Sunday Morning Tactical Post-Game Every Sunday at 6:30am, Northside serves as the rally point for our F3 The Capital workout group. We split up--ruckers head one way, runners another--and we all converge back at the shop by 7:30am. There is nothing quite like hitting the patio after a solid session for coffee, tea, and a high-quality breakfast. The Menu and My Personal "Hack" I've been significantly more health-conscious this year, so I generally keep the order lean. My go-to is a standard drip or an Americano with exactly one pump of vanilla. If you are looking for a meal, the avocado toast and poached egg sandwiches are objectively excellent. However, if you want the best thing on the menu, order the cheddar chive scone and ask them to heat it in the oven. It is a game-changer. The Vibe It has a genuine neighborhood feel. You'll see a broad spectrum of people--from tech folks on laptops to workout groups and families. It even transitions into a great bar scene in the evenings. It's consistent, high-quality, and remains my top recommendation in Falls Church.

The service we received from her was by far the best service I have received in a very long time here in the DMV. I actually stopped dining out as much as I used to because service has declined over the past few years sadly to say. She was patient, made suggestions on some tasty meals but most importantly, had a great personality that you can tell is authentic & genuine which made a simple girls brunch that much more memorable. Now as the food.....I'll just say this, DELICIOUS! My friends and I shared different items on the menu for brunch from hors d'oeuvres to main course down to dessert. When I say EVERYTHING was super tasty I seriously mean it. We had the mussels, pasta, sea bass, and more in which the chef made each platter with a unique twist for each. All this to say is you must try this cafe. I had to write this review because it truly deserves a 5+ star for its meals/drinks, ambiance but to me most importantly the service. For starters, we had the Salad Maison and the La Cachat, which was very appetizing. My friend had the Potato Crusted Salmon, which was my favorite dish that we ordered. It was cooked and flavored perfectly for my taste buds. Another dish that a guest from our party had was sea bass (Loup De Mar), which I also enjoyed. This dish also was big in portion size.
