The new shop is smaller and more cozy than the old space. As of mid-2021, it seems like the store is still in the process of becoming homey and curated the way the old one was. But they still had exactly what I came in for--chalk paint. The wood block swatches and the chalk painted furniture in the store makes this a great place to find what you're looking for. I'm also a fan of the cards and paper products here. There always seems to be a little something that catches my eye. Stylish Patina is a great store for the DIY lover or the person looking for unique home decor and gifts.

They'll let you know what plants are pet friendly and whch ones do best with lots of light, less light, etc. so you can help decide what plants are best whether you're a hard core plant person or you're kinda lazy and looking for something that's only slightly more work than plastic. If you buy both a pot and plant here, they'll even pot it for you so all you have to do it put it by the window and give it some light. This place definitely isn't the cheapest but their stuff is all top notch so it's worth checking out.

I found myself looking at games I played as a kid in the 80's and have seen some of the changes since the game orginally came out. From the Gearhead Stunt Garage to the Cooperative Games I have never heard of, but knew of song and/sayings. Apparently these are now a game. Scented pencils are sold here and I think about the crayons that were Scented from when I was in school. The things that trigger memories from your past. The ambience, prices and cleanliness are at an all time high. It is a Saturday today and a lot of kids and parents are in the store. The people in here are well behaved. I picked up a few boxes and their prices are pretty good. This a great toy shop that offers a lot of selections for small children to even bigger kids (aka the adults). Both times we've gone, it was during their happy hour, which runs until 7 pm, and we stuck to the special menu. Those have included their Charcuterie Board (something that contributed to Dr. Oz not being a senator), crispy Brussels sprouts, their Margarita flatbread, chicken skewers, and truffle fries. Don't hate us; that was spread over two visits. Everything tasted great, though next time I think we'll graduate to the real menu. The wines we've tried so far were either inexpensive or not bad. For inexpensive, I've had glasses of their $3 Tempranillo. While it wasn't great, I've paid a lot re for much worse. For "not bad", my wife had the $10 Buehler Cab. After it opened up for a bit it was quite drinkable.
