Was here back in October. It's a really cute spot with fun lighting and menu items. It's a good place for mid sized groups - we had a party of 6 when we went. They had a decent happy hour. The Cheese and Meat plate was really good, as were the brussels sprouts and chicken skewers. We also shared a few of of the main plates as well. My least favorite thing was the margherita flatbread, as I felt it was not as crispy or as thin of a crust as I personally like. The service was efficient and friendly. They were very knowledgeable about the wines they served which I appreciated. Overall, it was a great place to grab a drink after a long day of working and running around in D.C. I will be back there again in October of this year and I'd be curious to see if and how their menu might be updated.

Love this wine bar! Great happy hour, service, and vibes. We love their food. I was a member here and still love coming back. I miss their sommelier classes, but still think this is a great establishment with awesome wine options.

Great spot in Clarendon for wine and appetizers. Always recommend the fries. I tried the shrimp this time and it was great. They are also now dog friendly on the patio!

Great spot. Good parking. Delicious food. Friendly service. Positive energy. I got to choose whatever spot I wanted since I was the first one here for my lunch reservation.

This was a cool neighborhood wine bar located in Arlington. It's got a quaint patio, a small bar directly in front of the entrance, and some additional seating in the back, definitely perfect for a date night or smaller gatherings. The staff was super friendly and accommodating even as the rain forced everyone off the patio and inside the bar. They offer lunch, brunch, dinner and happy hour menus, on this occasion I was coming in on a Sunday afternoon and wanted to try a few wines and have a light meal. They offer cheese & charcuterie options, small plates with items like smoked brisket, cucumber salad, chicken empanadas, and Mediterranean chicken skewers, and a few different flatbread options as well (prices ranging from $8-$16). I ordered a glass of rosé and the prosciutto flatbread: the flatbread was solid I'm not usually a huge fig fan but I enjoyed the combination with the balsamic and ricotta cheese and the rosé was excellent: light, flavorful, but not too sweet. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in search of a comfortable, lowkey wine spot with great service.

    Truffle pizza, $18

I went to happy hour here with some friends on Memorial day. I ordered the truffle pizza, and we shared the charcuterie board. I thought both were very overpriced for what we got. The $18 truffle pizza was really just fair, three out of five. The charcuterie board was rather simple and not very big for $25. They do add a fair wage fee to the check FYI. Service was OK. The waitress said there was pecorino on the pizza, which she told me was meat, so I was expecting meat on the pizza. However, I looked this up later after I didn't see meat and this is actually another kind of cheese. Restaurant was small but easy to find seating. Parking was easy nearby. They didn't have a high chair, which was kind of surprising. Overall, I probably wouldn't come here again as I didn't feel the food was worth the cost.

Such a fun little spot to come with friends, on a date, or honestly for a nice lil drink alone. The service is impeccable and the food is delicious! We love the flatbread pizzas, the popcorn chicken, and the chefs selection charcuterie.

Really great spot for happy hour - prices were really reasonable and all of the food was well portioned! Our server was so friendly and attentive, making sure he got our orders just in time before happy hour ended.

Food was ok, stuck with house specials, as none of the wine had years produced on them. Couldn't get a cab older than 2023 which was odd.

My first impression of Ser was its ambiance - nice mood lighting, comfy seats, and just the right amount of ambient noise. We had a reservation (recommended!) and were quickly ushered to our seats and given menus. The waiter was courteous, prompt (always re-filling our water glasses), and helpful when we had questions about the menu (e.g., about which wine he preferred). This was our first (but not last) time visiting Ser, and our initial foray into the menu was pretty basic. My wife and I split the jarrete de cordero (lamb shank), three tapas dishes (croquetas, pan Catalana, and berenjenas [fried eggplant]), and two cheeses. My wife's favorite tapas was the pan catalana, which was bright and slightly salty/sweet in flavor with great texture in the balance between the crispness of the bread and the softness of the tomato. I preferred the croquetas, each of which coated my mouth with the warmth of hot cheese and rich meat. The lamb shank consisted of a massive piece of meat on the bone, resting on a bad of mashed potatoes and slices of sweet peppers. The lamb itself was what it should be: thick, tender, and juicy with a rich, slightly gamey flavor. The addition of the mash and peppers made it even better, and I can say that this is the first time that I actually enjoyed peppers - before I just tolerated them, even in my own cooking. These peppers paired perfectly with the mash and lamb, and I relished every bite. I would be tempted to order this same thing again on our next visit, but I have to know what the meat paella is like. Anyway, it all paired perfectly with the Spanish tempranillo (that our waiter helped me select). I would be remiss if I did not talk about our to-go box. The lamb was too much for us (and by "us", I mean my wife, who was not up to the task of eating her share of the main course), and we asked for this to be boxed to take home with us. And I was blown away when the remains of our dinner were brought back to us already deboned (but with the bone included). I found this to be above and beyond, as I was not looking forward to cutting that meat off the bone (to put in my next day's lunch, which was glorious), not the least because I am not very good at doing this. And that we still got the lamb bone meant either stock for a stew or sharing a treat with our four-legged housemate. We really appreciated this!

The service we received from her was by far the best service I have received in a very long time here in the DMV. I actually stopped dining out as much as I used to because service has declined over the past few years sadly to say. She was patient, made suggestions on some tasty meals but most importantly, had a great personality that you can tell is authentic & genuine which made a simple girls brunch that much more memorable. Now as the food.....I'll just say this, DELICIOUS! My friends and I shared different items on the menu for brunch from hors d'oeuvres to main course down to dessert. When I say EVERYTHING was super tasty I seriously mean it. We had the mussels, pasta, sea bass, and more in which the chef made each platter with a unique twist for each. All this to say is you must try this cafe. I had to write this review because it truly deserves a 5+ star for its meals/drinks, ambiance but to me most importantly the service. If you are lucky enough to have Bailey, I promise she won't disappoint you. Thank you for the wonderful experience and food

So, a friend has always been a fan of this place but just hadn't been in many, many years, so she opted to celebrate her birthdate here. The location has plenty of parking available with very kind and welcoming staff. Our party was quickly seated and greeted by our waiter. For starters, we had the Salad Maison and the La Cachat, which was very appetizing. My friend had the Potato Crusted Salmon, which was my favorite dish that we ordered. It was cooked and flavored perfectly for my taste buds. Another dish that a guest from our party had was sea bass (Loup De Mar), which I also enjoyed. This dish also was big in portion size. My dish was the Steak Frites which was cooked medium, however, it wasn't as juicy or flavorful as I desired. I also took the opportunity to try the Ridoir which was strong yet tasty. Overall, we had a great experience.

I went for the first time back in October and I had a good time. The drinks were competitively price for Arlington proportions but the food AND cocktail menu are just painfully limited. If you're ordering just standard bar drinks like a domestic draft beer or a shot of tequila you're fine, but a grilled cheese sandwich on the menu? Seriously? The biggest attraction of this bar is the mechanical bull. But the caveat is that you need to get a ticket to ride it which costs $5. Not terrible pricing but considering PBR at Power Plant Live in Baltimore has a mechanical bull (and more space but will get to that in a bit) it feels like a slap in the face. But again it's $5 and I'm going to presume that money goes towards maintenance of the mechanical bull ride anyway. Also depending on what day and time you go be prepared to be packed like sardines. There's three rooms one of which is a dedicated dance floor. And the room farthest from the entrance, about 85% of the room is taken up by the mechanical bull. The first time I went there was no room in the mechanical bull room because they blocked off 5% of it for some group party reservation. We went up to the rooftop which was a bit more spacious but naturally if it's cold outside or raining you're obviously not going up there. Overall, BOE has potential but a limited food menu, and even more limited cocktail menu, and small indoor space makes this an easy bar to skip when there's a line out the door.
