I came to watch Game 2 of the NBA Finals, and I appreciated that it was the only game they showed and had the sound on. My waitress was courteous and accommodating all night, even helping me with some recommendations. The Havana Cider was a tasty spiked apple cider. Every time I come here I'm always walking out disappointed I wanted to try this Jam Smashed Burger they have and every time I come in (at different times) it's always something. Whether it's they're too busy and the kitchen doesn't wanna make it or it being brunch despite me being told previously they serve the brunch menu with their normal menu all day. Also came in for a game once and my table ordered a hit dog tower and the hot dogs were shriveled and overcooked :/ My most recent time coming in was cloudy and daytime and it was extremely moggy and humid. My husband and I came here for our 1.5-year anniversary brunch after seeing it on Instagram, and it was 1000/1000 -- easily one of the best brunch experiences we've had. And the bacon?! Sweet, savory, honey pepper perfection. Now listen... I don't usually touch corned beef hash, mainly because it reminds me of dog food but theirs completely changed my mind. Tender, flavorful, perfectly cooked with potatoes, eggs, and cheese -- absolutely delicious. The skillet was too. But what really set this place apart was the service. Our server, Kristina, (remembered her name because it's also my best friend's name) was hands-down the best I've ever had. Super attentive, kind, and she even helped us with directions & gave us directions on where to park when we got lost. That level of care is rare. She was nothing short of AMAZING!!!! The vibe is chill and laid-back with music, TVs, and a nice atmosphere. They also have an outdoor area with heat lamps (we'll definitely be back for that when it's warmer). Upscale sports bar that plays things like the Summer House reunions, my friend and I came in here on a Tuesday night for a watch party. Service was quick and they have a great happy hour from 4-8. We started with chicken tenders from the HH menu that came with fries, along with a Titos cooler and a rum drink. Drinks were tasty and tasted decently strong. The chicken tenders for HH were absolutely HUGE like meal portion size. Great fries and tenders with tons of dips too. We ended up ordering a second thing and asked for just more tenders and they came through. HH wine was chardonnay and cab so we got a glass of that. They have karaoke on Tuesdays too. What is Hyde Social? It's an upscale sports bar quite honestly. It does offer more than the normal bar food and it's does have nice seating and a small lounge area in the middle but at the end of the day, we agreed this would be cool spot for football Sundays! Parking is super convenient and the garage elevator let's you out right next to Hyde Social and a few other cool bars. Service was fast, not that friendly because our server was a bit awkward, but he wasn't rude at all. The food was solid for sure. My NY strip was flavorful and her salmon was cooked perfectly however it needed a little salt. The calamari was good not great.. a bit crunchy but good just the same. How cute is this place! We were looking to try new spots to watch football outside the city, and this is a top contender. I love the seating style, the bar stools or the couches. It makes it feel so laid back even though it appears to be a bit above your typical bar. We made recommendations since the restaurant itself recommended it and I would say go ahead and do that. The TV's for Sunday football aren't preset the way other bars are, but the Manager ensured everyone saw the game they wanted to see based of your seating so the reservation seems like a safe bet. The food is really really really good for bar food and the drinks are reasonably priced, especially on a Sunday. The commute from DC is also a simple ride on the metro and a quick walk across the street. Highly recommend! read more

HH is until 7 on weeknights and right now, half off signature cocktails during the gov shutdown. The food is very good for bar food- tasty shrimp, perfectly battered calamari, and fat wings. We attended a Washington Commander's former player Charity event of sorts here. Nice establishment. The menu was bar food something to put on your stomach. Management was accommodating and professional and our server, Lauren was very attentive considering she had tables inside and out. Tired to give this place another try but it's not worth any hype. It'll be every other bar in the Clarendon area that will turnover soon. Used to be Pamplona and same owners now. It constantly turns over. They always claim the middle couches are reserved which means friends of the bar...so don't except to ever enjoy service or sit there (this was during non peak NFL) . Food is mediocre both times we went there. Service took a while. Had to flag someone after 10 minutes just to get us drinks. Poor bartender was doing double service but making drinks and taking orders at tables which isn't a fault to him as the manager who was just chatting with his friends on the couches and not helping him out on service. read more

Hyde Social is the amazing new spot that replaced Pamplona and it is an elevated experience. I held our studio happy hour here and everyone had a wonderful time. Good drinks, excellent food, and great service. There are tons of TVs so great for watching games and plenty of seats for sitting with friends. New bar and lounge in the area, really like the cozy and intimate feel. A group of 8 friends came here on a Friday night, were able to get a reservation. There are tvs at every angle which is nice if you're a sports fan. We came for happy hour which had great deals, i ordered a pint of beer and 8 wings for $15. I really liked the flavor of the mango habanero wings. They brought out biscuits to our table too which were also tasty. The bartender was super nice and attentive. Prices for beer and food were pretty reasonable, cocktails were a little high in my opinion. Throughout the night, we noticed the vibe change into more of a bar scene. Overall, I would come back. Hyde Social looks better online than in person. The interior is slick but small, and the food menu definitely needs an upgrade. Drinks were decent, but we were disappointed watching the NBA playoffs on smaller screens while the big screens stayed on hockey. Meanwhile, the spot next door had NBA game on every screen and was packed. That said, once the game ended and the DJ started spinning, the crowd shifted over, and the vibe picked up fast. Old space, completely new design. Hyde is a new sports bar in the Clarendon Arlington area. I can't recall what it was before but I visited Halloween Weekend and had a great time! Clarendon night bars aren't known for great service but our waitress kept checking in, bringing water, drinks and good energy all night! I was impressed with that. The DJ was great and there's enough space to dance when the lights get low or get seated at a booth. I was still able to conversatie with my table so the music level was just right. I believe the center furniture is 1st come, 1st serve. Maybe I'll be back to try food but my experience of it at night was great! read more

Went here for new years and they totally scammed us. We bought a booth for 8 people that included a $450 credit limit to be used throughout the night. They ended up charging us $522 for the tab, even though we never even hit our limit, let alone exceeded it. When we reached out they said they would call back and never did. The tickets have now magically disappeared from the account we had so we don't have evidence to dispute with the bank. Also, the owner kept giving our friend drinks, well after she was drunk. He followed her on instagram and he has a wife and kids. Would not recommend going here unless you want to be cheated out of money and hit on by creepy old men. read more

This is a newer location that replaced my beloved Pamplona restaurant in the Clarendon area. I decided to pop in to grab some food and check out some of the NFL playoff games taking place that day. I'd consider this more of an upscale sports bar by comparison to the traditional hole in the wall spots, it has bars on both ends of the restaurant as well as several tables with comfy couch seating great for large or small parties. I got there early enough to grab a seat at the bar, there was plenty of friendly and welcoming staff on hand seemingly well-prepared to accommodate what became a growing crowd before the game which is always appreciated. Their menu features starters like bang bang shrimp, chicken tenders, and calamari (starter prices ranging from $11-$17), in addition to heartier entrees like New York Steak, mushroom ravioli, and pan-roasted salmon (entree prices ranging from $15-$30). They also offer a variety of cocktails options from their frozen painkiller to their espresso rye beverage (ranging from $14-$22). I decided to try out a few different items: the waffle fries, beef sliders, old-bay flavored jumbo wings, and the philly cheesesteak eggrolls. The food took awhile to come out given the large amount of customers at that time but the server was intentional about providing periodic updates on the items. As for the food: the fries were good, hot and not overdone, the beef sliders were probably my favorite item simple but really flavorful, the eggrolls were a bit underwhelming since that was the item I was most enthusiastic about trying but something about the composition and flavor profile didn't agree with me, and the old bay wings were excellent, well-seasoned but not overbearing with the seasoning which is a common issue with a lot of the old bay wings I've tried at sports bars. All in all a really positive experience and I'll definitely be returning to try some more of the entree items. read more

The drinks in this dump are over priced. The bartender service is mediocre at best. I was watching the 4th quarter of an exciting college football game here Thursday Jan 8, 2026 with an acquaintance and being friendly. The feckless & gutless security staff told me to leave (which I did without yelling). No explanation given to me on why security ejected me. The security goons then called Arlington police who issued me a no trespassing notice before I was able to call an uber ride home to Alexandria. This is the former Pamplona space reimagined. Think upscale sports lounge. Mini-arena style scoreboards, with comfortable lounge and traditional seating. Two indoors bars and one serving outdoor guests. Drinks and food are far above what you'd expect from "Clarendon Sports Bar". Bang bang shrimp, mango habanero wings, and the ahi tuna app are some standouts. Great beer selection and cocktails are well thought out and well-balanced.
