Iced Matcha Latte Hot (12 oz) or Iced (16 oz)

What a great local coffee shop - Simona has tasty drinks, a good rotating selection of seasonal coffees and pastries, and a cute partially covered/partially exposed patio with tables and chairs that are perfect for enjoying your beverage or getting work done during nice weather.

Simona Cafe is one of my go-to stops whenever I'm in the Arlington area, especially when I'm craving a really good latte. Their lattes are consistently excellent--smooth, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. I love trying the seasonal lattes! My go to is their vanilla latte though (with almond milk). The café itself is small, but cozy, and there is an outdoor space. It has a warm, inviting vibe that makes it perfect for a quick stop, remote working, or a relaxed meet-up. Service is friendly and efficient, which I always appreciate when I'm on the go. If you're nearby and looking for a reliable spot for an awesome latte, Simona Cafe is absolutely worth a visit.

Pretty typical hippie/yuppie cafe with everyone on their lap tops. Good choice of coffees and croissants. In the morning there are interest breakfast options. We enjoyed Brie and ham baguette and the scone was also top notch. Inside and outside seats located just off main drag. Parking limited outside but some street parking not far away. Definitely worth a stop as far as cafe and coffee goes

Despite the limited amd crowded space at this location, Simona is a good neighborhood coffee shop and cafe. The parking area is limited too, unfortunately. The interior and exterior are quaint and modern. Pretty clean setting is a nice relief. This store has gone thru various reiterations and ownerships, and its popular again. So, its pretty crowded during summer weekends. The menu for coffee is varied, and local Rare Bird Roaster coffee beans are used here. There are plenty of staff behind the bar, and the baristas are professional, courteous and polite. My egg and avocado sandwich is on point, too. BTW, if you are seated outside, be aware of the two blaring fans directly in front of you.

Blueberry thyme matcha

Very cute cafe and very crowded because it was one of the first nice days of spring. The outdoor seating space was super nice but not a lot of space. The sandwich was good the focaccia especially well down but wish they seasoned more of the eggs. The thing that really blew me away was the matcha latte. This was so good with blueberry thyme syrup and yet not too sweet and the matcha was not chunky at all. By far my favorite cafe matcha in the US by far.

I discovered Simona through the Too Good To Go app a couple of months ago but have been back a few times to visit since then. Their matcha is so delish and their focaccia is delishhhhhh!!! They don't sell it by itself, which is probably a good thing for my waistline. Ha! I recently went for a paint and sip event and had a great time. Ive even discovered other small businesses while visiting on another occasion. Service is always cordial and they stay pretty busy! I can always find a spot to sit even though the seating area is more on the small side. There is seating inside and out. Parking is street. This has easily become one of my fave cafes in the area!

Very hip, cute, modern setting! Space is quite limited. There is outside seating. Staff is very friendly and informative. Service is very efficient in regards to wait time. I ordered the strawberry matcha with a croissant. very good! matcha taste is very distinct still with the strawberry flavor. I would definitely come here again! great atmosphere!

It was just about 8:15 and the customers were trickling in. This location has been on my Go To list! It's a fall, gloomy morning and I thought to myself 'why not? Perfect day for Simona'. No regrets! I had the Wilson (sandwich) and an apricot scone. Honestly everything looked delicious! I plan to return to try their entire menu! You cannot make reservations so come early. I am a morning person (and so is all most of Arlington!). So glad I got here early to snag a seat and place my order. The coffee shop is adorable and I love the vibes here! They have other locations to in DC. Some customers bring their laptops and work here. There's outdoor seating, which I love! The music was upbeat and cheery to get anyone started on the right foot on a Saturday morning. Check out their Instagram for events!

Very busy cafe in Arlington with outdoor seating. There were no tables when we arrived on Sunday morning so we were going to take our food to go. It was lucky then that two tables, not together, opened up. We had some breakfast sandwiches on fresh focaccia bread -- scrambled eggs were warm and creamy and covered in melty cheese. The bread was delicious but way too generous. Bakery goods looked great! Charming neighborhood.

Decent coffee and good food. Awesome vibe! A place tugged in the aide street in Arlington. Service is as good as other great coffee shop in the area. Would definitely return if I am around the neighborhood. It was a bit crowded in the weekend so just be aware. A great place! Food highlights: latte, pretty good but I ask for extra and may be got a bit more than i wanted Egg cheese sandwich, excellent creamy eggs but could use a bit of salt according to me. But you can always add some. Would order again.

Cherry chocolate scone
Kay

The cherry chocolate scone was fantastic, the texture was flaky and buttery, but it wasn't too dry. It was great paired with the lemon chamomile tea. There's not a lot of seating inside or out and can get quite busy so be prepared to swoop in and grab a table when you can. the outdoor patio space is pretty nice with both the covered and uncovered portion. I always see people camping out and doing work here but I just like getting breakfast or a snack or just a tea and hanging out for a little while.

I fell in love with this place immediately. It is quite busy so not ideal for big groups, but the sandwiches are amazing (hello focaccia!) if a bit oily. I also saw a flier for a silent book club where folks come and sit and read together but in silence. I. Love. It. I love everything about it. 10/10 recommend

My first impression of Ser was its ambiance - nice mood lighting, comfy seats, and just the right amount of ambient noise. We had a reservation (recommended!) and were quickly ushered to our seats and given menus. The waiter was courteous, prompt (always re-filling our water glasses), and helpful when we had questions about the menu (e.g., about which wine he preferred). This was our first (but not last) time visiting Ser, and our initial foray into the menu was pretty basic. My wife and I split the jarrete de cordero (lamb shank), three tapas dishes (croquetas, pan Catalana, and berenjenas [fried eggplant]), and two cheeses. My wife's favorite tapas was the pan catalana, which was bright and slightly salty/sweet in flavor with great texture in the balance between the crispness of the bread and the softness of the tomato. I preferred the croquetas, each of which coated my mouth with the warmth of hot cheese and rich meat. The lamb shank consisted of a massive piece of meat on the bone, resting on a bad of mashed potatoes and slices of sweet peppers. The lamb itself was what it should be: thick, tender, and juicy with a rich, slightly gamey flavor. The addition of the mash and peppers made it even better, and I can say that this is the first time that I actually enjoyed peppers - before I just tolerated them, even in my own cooking. These peppers paired perfectly with the mash and lamb, and I relished every bite. I would be tempted to order this same thing again on our next visit, but I have to know what the meat paella is like. Anyway, it all paired perfectly with the Spanish tempranillo (that our waiter helped me select). I would be remiss if I did not talk about our to-go box. The lamb was too much for us (and by "us", I mean my wife, who was not up to the task of eating her share of the main course), and we asked for this to be boxed to take home with us. And I was blown away when the remains of our dinner were brought back to us already deboned (but with the bone included). I found this to be above and beyond, as I was not looking forward to cutting that meat off the bone (to put in my next day's lunch, which was glorious), not the least because I am not very good at doing this. And that we still got the lamb bone meant either stock for a stew or sharing a treat with our four-legged housemate. We really appreciated this!

WOW WOW & WOW!!! This cafe is a unique hidden gem with AMAZING food and service!…read more For starters before I get to the food aspect, our server Bailey was just phenomenal. The service we received from her was by far the best service I have received in a very long time here in the DMV. I actually stopped dining out as much as I used to because service has declined over the past few years sadly to say. She was patient, made suggestions on some tasty meals but most importantly, had a great personality that you can tell is authentic & genuine which made a simple girls brunch that much more memorable. Now as the food.....I'll just say this, DELICIOUS! My friends and I shared different items on the menu for brunch from hors d'oeuvres to main course down to dessert. When I say EVERYTHING was super tasty I seriously mean it. We had the mussels, pasta, sea bass, and more in which the chef made each platter with a unique twist for each. All this to say is you must try this cafe. I had to write this review because it truly deserves a 5+ star for its meals/drinks, ambiance but to me most importantly the service. If you are lucky enough to have Bailey, I promise she won't disappoint you. Thank you for the wonderful experience and food

So, a friend has always been a fan of this place but just hadn't been in many, many years, so she opted to celebrate her birthdate here. The location has plenty of parking available with very kind and welcoming staff. Our party was quickly seated and greeted by our waiter. For starters, we had the Salad Maison and the La Cachat, which was very appetizing. My friend had the Potato Crusted Salmon, which was my favorite dish that we ordered. It was cooked and flavored perfectly for my taste buds. Another dish that a guest from our party had was sea bass (Loup De Mar), which I also enjoyed. This dish also was big in portion size. My dish was the Steak Frites which was cooked medium, however, it wasn't as juicy or flavorful as I desired. I also took the opportunity to try the Ridoir which was strong yet tasty. Overall, we had a great experience.

The restaurant had our orders ready when we got there and they were 100% accurate and well organized. My interaction with them was very limited, but the staff was nice enough. There is metered street parking available for those wishing to park here, but that parking is somewhat difficult to get. We ended up parking in a loading zone area, running in and getting our food. They serve items such as Russian soups and salads, desserts, shashlyk, vareniki, goluptsi, plov, beef stroganoff, chicken kiev, pelmeni, and dolma. They also have beer, wine, infused vodka shots and mixed drinks to wash your food down. I ordered Manti and a slice of Russian Honey Cake. My food was really good. The cake was delicious as well. My major complaint, as well as everyone else in my group, was that the portion size was very small, especially considering the price. Most of us were still hungry after eating our meal. But again, the food was tasty. This is a great place to get you Russian food fix. The food is good, I just wish that there was more of it.
