This is a hidden gem that popped up on my news feed one day from the recommendation of others. The owner is very kind and great service. I got the turkish coffee and a simit (Turkish bagel) that was freshly baked and delicious. The borek ran out unfortunately and the next batch wouldn't be available for at least 20 minutes. There are several rugs that you can dine one and its perfect activity on a sunny day. Just to note, there is no indoor seating so I wouldn't come on a rainy day. I stopped by after I worked out in a nearby gym.

Wonderful and unique Turkish style food truck with basic desserts like baklava, plus different flavors of coffee and tea, as well as fabric chairs with intricate designs. The owner is super friendly as well! They also take cash or credit. Overall, this is a great place to relax in the middle of the hustle and bustle on a nice day in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington, yet still have a great feeling of relaxation. I will eventually come back!

Absolutely delightful!! (and the coffee came with a bit of Turkish Delight). Incredibly wonderful setting. I loved the experience of sitting on a Persian rug with a cushion...enjoying a morning coffee like a Sultan! Such a warm reception and individualized service, it makes for one of the best morning "dates" with my significant other!

A really cute and great coffee stand in Arlington. We got the Turkish coffee and the Turkish coffee mocha. They were both very good and not too sweet (I got the medium sweetness level), but you can always adjust the sweetness to your liking. The mocha was a mixture of Turkish coffee and spiced hot chocolate, and that was really good too! The seats are also very cute. The owner was very friendly too! Highly recommend :)

We got the ottoman experience which included unlimited foods and drinks on the menu. I didn't know what to expect but the experience is mindblowing good! They served us everything included in the experience menu which has cold mezze and hot mezze plates, omelette, various skewers and desserts and sides. Everything is so fresh and tasty. I especially enjoyed the muhammara, the pink dip, and the omelette. The pita breads are warm and fluffy, perfect with the mezze. We also got a lot of mimosas and the honey yogurt dessert was not heavy and perfect end to our brunch. We all ended up so full but very much satisfied with the experience. If you go with friends or a group, get the experience you won't regret!

Stopped by on my way out from DC before heading to the airport. I got to try their ayran, lahmacun, baklava with ice cream. I will first say that the interior of the place is certainly beautiful, and the staff seems to be fairly nice as well. Bit formal. But, in terms of the food, I just wasn't that impressed. The lahmacun just lacked flavor. There was very little spice; in fact, for whatever reason, it almost tasted a bit sweet. The ayran was also a letdown. Usually, I love ayran, but this one just tasted like milk. At least it was served in a cool metal container. They served some complimentary bread too, which was nice, but even that seemed a bit industrial. For dessert, I got to try the baklava with ice cream. It's nothing to write home about, in full honesty. Bit dry, not much flavor. All in all, I was a bit disappointed. It s a gorgeous spot, but the food just fell a bit short for me. Maybe I'll come back to try some kebabs.

We would like to share our experience and rate this wonderful restaurant…read more Kazan Restaurant is a truly beautiful place, and from the moment we arrived, we received a warm and genuine welcome from the entire staff. Everyone was smiling, friendly, and extremely patient, which made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. The appetizers and salads were excellent--fresh, healthy, and thoughtfully prepared. The menu selections are well chosen and balanced. The main courses were absolutely delicious, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented, with outstanding quality and variety. The level of professionalism shown by the staff was exceptional. Their smiles never left their faces, and they handled our orders with great care and attention. Usually, in most restaurants, one person is assigned to serve your table, but here we noticed that all team members take turns checking on you and making sure you are fully satisfied. This teamwork truly reflects a high standard of service and hospitality. This atmosphere strongly encourages anyone to visit and enjoy a fine dining experience--whether with family, friends, or colleagues. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for quality food and outstanding service. The experience concluded with a lovely gesture of hospitality: serving delicious baklava and authentic Turkish tea, which was a perfect ending to an already memorable meal. Honestly, I have traveled to Dubai, Egypt, Morocco, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom, and I have not encountered food this delicious, service this professional, and a place this pleasant. It is an excellent venue for inviting loved ones and absolutely worth visiting--you will not be disappointed. Special thanks go to AYHAN for his supervision, professionalism, appreciation for food quality, and close follow-up with the staff to ensure everything runs smoothly. Our sincere thanks also extend to the professional restaurant management. We wish you continued success and prosperity, and we thank all the staff--especially AYHAN--for this outstanding experience. We wish you a wonderful day. Best wishes Tawfiq

Both of us are mobility impaired, and were treated with great sensitivity--our choice of tables with plenty of room for canes, food etc. It was a Friday so we knew we were going to order the Wednesday/Friday special of Doner Kebab, but we hadn't anticipated the best side salad either of us had ever had: Cucumber, grated carrots, baby spinach leaves, regular lettuce leaves, shaved red cabbage with a remarkable green goddess dressing. We also ordered the Mezze Platter for one--knowing we would never be able to eat the same amount for two people, and were happy to split the hummus, spiced chicken strips, yogurt, sausage, feta, and lovely tomato shaped like a rose. The Doner Kebab orders were delicious--and huge. We definitely were full and hesitated before ordering a piece of baklava to split, but that would have been a mistake! Their pistachio baklava is made especially for them by a local woman and was, perhaps, the best baklava I have ever had. Service was impeccable even though they were very busy. I highly recommend Kazan's for lunch; no doubt dinner is equally delicious.

The restaurant had our orders ready when we got there and they were 100% accurate and well organized. My interaction with them was very limited, but the staff was nice enough. There is metered street parking available for those wishing to park here, but that parking is somewhat difficult to get. We ended up parking in a loading zone area, running in and getting our food. They serve items such as Russian soups and salads, desserts, shashlyk, vareniki, goluptsi, plov, beef stroganoff, chicken kiev, pelmeni, and dolma. They also have beer, wine, infused vodka shots and mixed drinks to wash your food down. I ordered Manti and a slice of Russian Honey Cake. My food was really good. The cake was delicious as well. My major complaint, as well as everyone else in my group, was that the portion size was very small, especially considering the price. Most of us were still hungry after eating our meal. But again, the food was tasty. This is a great place to get you Russian food fix. The food is good, I just wish that there was more of it.

Our server recommended some good options for us and was very thorough in making sure there was no cross-contamination with my friend's allergens. TEKMIL FAVA - 14 Incredibly delicious dip that's incredibly dill-forward. The bread that came with it was just OK, but the citrusy and herb combination was addictive. We would definitely recommend it! ZEYTİNYAĞLI ENGİNAR - 24 Not the biggest artichoke fan, but my artichoke-loving friend really enjoyed this. It was soft with the perfect texture, but not my favorite. MERCIMEK ÇORBASI - 14 This red lentil soup had a runnier consistency which was perfect. It came out hot, and topped with buttery bread crumbs that was crunchy and tasty. I love soup and would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good lentil soup. ÇÖP ŞIŞ - 23 The tomato paste/sauce was so fresh and sweet, topped with fresh herbs and lavash (type of flatbread) as the base. Definitely eat this as fresh as possible. Underneath the flatbread were five lamb skewers, which was smoky and flavorful. The combination of the savory lamb and fresh tomatoes was phenomenal. MANTI - 24 These are delicate and small beef dumplings mixed with a creamy yogurt sauce and spices. The dumpling skin was perfectly thin, and the beef was well-seasoned. The sauce was a bit much, but it complements the dumplings well in moderation. KEŞKÜL - 13 The almond pudding was addictive -- not too sweet and slightly nutty, making you want more and more of it. This was definitely our favorite dessert of the night and they were incredibly generous with the amount of almonds they give you! REVANI - 15 A bit dense, sweeter than I'd like -- this is a corn flour cake with some whipped cream and rhubarb jam on the side. Our server said this was one of the "less sweet" dessert options, so the ones we didn't order are probably a lot sweeter. Food was good, and we had a great experience! Nice ambiance, and they were quite packed on a Wednesday evening. They're also on inKind, so we were able to pay with the app and save on our meal.

We had great service from getting seated at our reservation time to getting the check in a timely manner. Our server took the time to walk us through the menu, offering recommendations and answering our questions. We shared several small plates mezze style with fresh pide (bread), all of which were delicious: Enginar Dolmasi: The blossoms were perfectly cooked, the lemon provided great acidity, the onion crunch, and the rice creaminess. Girit Ezmesi: The star dish-rich, creamy, the right amount of salt, tons of delicious cheese, amazing with the pide. Manti: Well-cooked beef dumplings, perfect dough texture, and a delicious yogurt sauce. Taze Bakla: I loved the unique texture of the fava beans, the dill provided great freshness, and the yogurt creaminess. Közlenmiş Patlıcan Salatası: The eggplant was nicely cooked and smoky, with good added flavor from the peppers and garlic. We shared the Tel Kadayif for dessert, which had great crunch, sweetness, and texture. I would highly recommend My Little Chamomile for your next date night or celebratory occasion!
