I was recommended to use Integrity, and although they were busy, they fit my project in. I went to the design center and met with a guy who showed me on the huge monitor exactly what everything would look like and helped guide us through the selections. He even provided us with fresh coffee and a soda! We met a couple of the staff whom I was dealing with on the phone and the manager . They came out and said hello. It was nice they took the time to greet us and make introductions. I don't want to leave out the estimator or the PM they were amazing. Everyone was so nice and professional. The project came out great. Thank you!!

Our neighbors bathroom leaked above us resulting in more than half of the walls, ceiling, and floors needing to be demoed and redone. Took it as an opportunity to upgrade the bathroom too. We met with around 7 different contractors and Integrity Restoration without a doubt gave us the most balanced pricing as well as were best at communicating and talking through everything with us and working with our insurance. Cindie did the initial consult and was wonderful to coordinate everything through. Ritchie was our project manager and was super communicative and responsive throughout. The contractors they brought in--Joe and his team at DR Construction and Dan (electrician) from San Diego Wire Nut--were of the highest quality and did an exceptional job on our bathroom. Literally could not be more pleased with their professionalism, care, and expertise. The before and after photos speak for themselves but here are some highlights: 1) The demo left some original wall and ceiling which caused a noticeable difference when the new drywall was put up. Joe and his team worked on it and smoothed it out until it was completely fixed. 2) We had our shower installed first by a separate company since it was at the back of the room. Joe's team sealed it up and protected it through their entire share of the project ensuring not even a scratch affected it. 3) Dan was precise, methodical, and hell bent on ensuring all our electricals--including the new medicine cabinet mirror which need to be hardwired into the wall--were perfectly centered and equidistance from each other. He also gave us fantastic advise on the amount and type of lighting we'd need as well as moving the fan to light the room better. 4) We had previous flooring leftover from the original owner but unfortunately it wasn't until they started trying to install it that it became apparent we were literally just 3 pieces short. Couldn't find it anywhere meaning we needed to redo the flooring too. This also set the project back but Joe coordinated this with all his other projects to make this work. He also kindly answered our call on the weekend to help advise us on the new flooring. It didn't matter what happened. The ceiling, the flooring, a scuff, a cracked bit of caulk--every since thing was noticed, repaired, and finished with utmost care. Working with contractors can be such a roll of the dice but thanks to Integrity we got the best of the best and couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you!

We're thrilled with our recent home renovation done by Integrity (live-in, three months). Micha, our project manager, was professional, friendly and accommodating, and ensured everything ran smoothly, while Marcelo, the lead technician, skillfully handled a broad range of tasks including drywall, installations, painting and more. Marcelo always took extra time to prep and clean up, and to ask us questions and share his opinions on design decisions. His attention to detail is exceptional and he was a pleasure to work with. Their team also included highly skilled subcontractors for tile, wood floor and custom shower door work. The transformation of our two bathrooms, doors, patio, and floors exceeded our expectations, and the seven year warranty gives us peace of mind. This was our second renovation project with Integrity and we love these guys. Both Micha and Marcelo have been with the company for a long time -- in fact they both worked on our previous renovation in 2017. Their work stands the test of time. Oh, and we loved our estimator, Glenn. He was very responsive and kind. Thanks guys!

Foyer - curved drywall wasn't easy repair, looks great.

JAN '23 started with a pipe bursting on the second floor of our foyer entrance. It took out a bunch of drywall at the house entry and an adjacent laundry room. It was a big mess. Integrity was a referral by our ServPro crew chief, one for which I'm grateful. Integrity has a small company feel, and I mean that in a very good way. There are a few key contributors in their front office, all of whom do what they say. We've had the same great experience with our various work crews (drywall/paint, cabinetry/tile, etc.). In particular, Patrick warrants a call out. He does top quality work and has great customer service skills. Our job is finally 99% complete (insurance claim settlement remains) and you really can't even tell this repair happened. Thank you Integrity! And especially, thank you Patrick. We would absolutely refer Integrity and Patrick.

Patrick did an amazing job fixing our kitchen after a flood. We wanted the cabinets to be reconstructed exactly as they had been before. He worked fast and finished the project by the time we needed it. He was very Professional, competent and really paid attention to all the details. He did the work faster and better than we expected. We definitely will use his services in the future and would recommend him any day. Very impressed by his work and work ethic. His skill and professionalism was well worth the money.

    Prior to removal of wall.

Full Kitchen Remodel, the whole team was very easy to work with, responsive and professional. Opened up a wall, new cabinets, floors, appliances and backsplash. We are more than happy with the outcome

A newly designed kitchen, after almost 20 years. FINALLY!!

Although the waiting process felt like an eternity waiting for all the pieces to come together, it was totally worth it. We were due for a kitchen remodel, and due to some flooding circumstances, we had the opportunity to do so. Integrity is an extremely professional organization. Each vendor carefully put into consideration as to what we wanted to accomplish with both the kitchen and master bathroom remodels. I would definitely refer them to others.

Go ahead and stop looking around now, because Swift is the best. I had a failed wax ring from my upstairs toilet leak water into my downstairs kitchen, and I got 6 different quotes for mold remediation and restoration. Nate from Swift Restoration was one of the only ones to not exaggerate the scope of what needed to be fixed, which put my mind at ease. Marco, the technician who demoed the water damaged parts of my kitchen, was extremely professional and did an amazing job securing the work area, even making sure that my cat did not escape as he was going in and out of the front door. I have vintage cabinets and light fixtures that I wanted to keep intact if possible, and Marco was able to do this no problem. I ended up staying with Swift for the restoration part of the job, and they did incredible work. The cabinets and ceiling look better than ever and like nothing happened. They were able to work with my budget without compromising on quality. Shoutout to Victor for an incredible job, this man is a construction master and he finished the restoration job faster than we anticipated while still doing solid work. Ian, the company owner, was available through the whole process to answer any questions I had and make sure that I was happy with the results. I did have at least 6-7 companies come by to pitch their thing, what's gonna happen, how much it was going to cost. In the end I ended with this company and I have zero regrets. Thankfully, I had the best people to get this situation resolved quickly. I worked with Arturo Ramirez (from San Diego)'s team from start to finish. Arturo came to give an assessment of what is going on, what needs to be done, and when they are going to do so. The preparation they did before the work was amazing. I have carpet upstairs and they put plastics on everything so there would be a minimal cleaning in the end. Arturo communicated with me on everything they are working on. After all done, they cleaned everything, they put back my toilet with no issue, the walls are painted and textured. I didn't think that they were cutting any corners or trying to get it all done and get my money and be out. Only small issue I had was the communication about the invoices with their accounting team. I had to call them multiple times to get it updated since I needed the bills split between HOA and me. But in the end they got it all figured out.

Jakobsen's on-site workers were kind, professional and did solid work.

The plumber identified a leak in the shower pan and said it was a larger issue that needed to go through insurance. They recommended Jakobsen to assess and provide a quote. Our regular insurance also required a second estimate, which came back similar to Jakobsen's. Jakobsen told us they could complete the work more quickly, so we chose them. There was asbestos involved, which understandably extended the timeline--this part was not Jakobsen's fault, as asbestos treatment and insurance approvals are out of their control. Where things became difficult was communication and project management. Initially, we worked with Michael on mitigation. He was kind, but communication was inconsistent. The process was explained at a very high level, and as first-time homeowners who had never dealt with insurance or restoration work, we were left with a lot of unanswered questions--especially around materials. Our flooring, shower tile, and vanities all needed replacement, but there was no clear guidance on when or how selections would be made. Trying to be proactive, I selected tile and flooring samples early and physically provided them, along with emails and in-person explanations of where the materials could be purchased. Despite multiple follow-ups, I didn't receive clear responses. Mitigation eventually finished, but I was still repeatedly asking about next steps with materials and timelines, often without replies. Then we were assigned a second project manager for restoration. I reached out again, explained everything from the beginning, and asked the same questions. Unfortunately, communication became even worse. By late November--well past the original timeline--we still had no clear completion date, even though we were supposed to host Thanksgiving in our newly purchased home. After several unanswered emails and texts, I escalated by including a regional manager. Only then was there pressure to provide a timeline, though even then it remained vague. During this period, the communication felt dismissive and, at times, rude--which was frustrating as a paying customer. I manage staff myself, and the lack of professionalism stood out. Eventually, the project manager met us at our home. The tone of the conversation was noticeably different when speaking to my fiancé versus me, which was uncomfortable. I don't want to assume intent, but as a Latina woman, the interaction did not sit well. Transparency and respect should not depend on who is speaking. This was also the first time anyone mentioned that it would be easier if we purchased the materials ourselves. Had this been communicated earlier, we would have done so immediately and avoided weeks of delay. Once I finally had the information I needed (how much tile, vanity size, etc.), I was able to source discontinued flooring within minutes through a Yelp-recommended vendor and had it shipped cross-country within a week. Despite further delays, Jakobsen completed the job on Christmas Eve, which I genuinely appreciated since we were hosting Christmas Day. Having two functioning bathrooms again was a huge relief. I want to be clear: many of the on-site staff were kind, professional, and did solid work. This review is not about them. The core issue is project management and communication. Clients--especially first-time homeowners--need clear expectations, consistent follow-up, and aligned communication between managers. Jakobsen could be a much better company with improved customer service training, clearer processes, and better internal coordination. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not hire them again. I'm leaving this honest review in the hope that future customers are better supported and that Jakobsen takes the feedback seriously.
