We used CC&R for a water and mold mitigation problem in our powder bathroom. They were communicative, prompt for their appointments, and the finished project turned out wonderful! read more

Bill, the owner of CCR Construction Services, was great to work with! He walked through a property my clients are currently in escrow on and provided rough estimates for major repairs, helping them understand what to expect and giving them peace of mind. It was also helpful to learn that he handles mold remediation and works with insurance companies. Highly recommend! read more

Update: Bill who is the owner reached out and confirmed we were their customer. We agreed that while they worked on a different section of the roof, they did not address the main issue we called them for at all. They ignored us the 3rd time the same issue happened and did not call us back. Saving grace was the owner reaching out after a poor yelp review with genuinely trying to figure out what is going on. Got sent to them via insurance. My advice is to shop around for roof issues. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the responsiveness from CC&R when I needed an estimate to repair some water damage at my house. Unfortunately, the experience in working with them went all down hill from there. The person sent to do an estimate was not friendly at all and made it clear that his company will decide how our house will be fixed and did not want any of our input. read more

CC&R is the best remediation services in San Diego. Their technicians and customer service were excellent. I had a slab leak that was a complete nightmare to figure out how to get fixed. Jodi communicated all of the insurance expectations and scheduling for the water damage. It really put me at ease knowing they were getting everything remediated and repaired in a timely manner. Highly recommend! read more

They finished ahead of schedule and on budget. I have already recommended them to friends and neighbors. read more

Our closet repair went well. We had a leak due to plumbing and our insurance company recommended CCR. Peter communicated well and was clear about cost and timing. There were a few changes as things wen along and Peter made adjustments accordingly. Rogelio and Edgar made all the repairs and did a great job. Their drywall work was done really well and they got the texture done right! Our closet looks better than it did before the leak. read more

The rebuild of my kitchen and bathroom went very smoothly after a slab leak. Jennifer was helpful and stepped up to help me deal with my insurance company. Peter kept me up to date on construction and explained everything. Construction was completed by Victor and Julian. They are the easiest and BEST crew to work with. They were courteous and arrived on time. They did a fantastic job. Construction was completed before the deadline. I will use this company again. read more

My insurance company recommended CCR to rebuild a brick wall after two cars ran into it. After many unforeseen issues, I finally have a beautiful new wall. Moises, the project manager, did an excellent job keeping me informed about all aspects of the job. He was professional and knowledgeable. The crew worked hard and did a wonderful job. We were referred to CCR from our insurance company AAA. CCR worked closely with us during the rebuilding of our home after a water leak and mold remediation. The entire team from start to finish was knowledgeable and quick to help with our water issue. This was our first insurance claim and I was so happy to have everything explained step by step and managed seamlessly. Our house looks better than before turning a stressful situation into a silver lining. Thank you CCR! read more

I had a great experience from start to finish with CC&R. Everyone I worked with was knowledgable, respectful and extremely quick to finish their portion of the job. They did full mold removal, dry out, kitchen demo/restoration and redid all the floors in the house. Everything looks amazing and I couldn't be happier with the work. Special thank you to Alex for making my home look brand new!! read more

Insurance claims on residential properties are frustratingly slow and confusing.  A rental unit that I own in San Diego suffered significant damage as a result of a slow leak from under the kitchen sink that the tenant failed to recognize.  It caused flooring to buckle, mold, and damaged the cabinetry. The fact that I currently live overseas only complicated the matter.  When this sort of thing happens you need professionals on your side.  CC&R not only repaired the property beyond our expectations but they were also able to help us negotiate further payments from the insurance company.  They also dealt professionally with a grumpy and somewhat uncooperative tenant.  They understand how the process works.  Tracy and Ron were a pleasure to deal with, consistently kept us informed, were flexible and ensured the whole process ran smoothly from start to finish.  I recommend this company read more

After a sudden plumbing leak, our insurance company recommended CC&R Construction to restore our master bathroom. They responded quickly to give us a detailed estimate and settled with insurance within a couple weeks. Unfortunately, We had a delay because the tile we wanted was on backorder. After a few unexpected delays, we are so happy with the final result. Even when some of the upgrade we had purchased for the remodel didn't fit exactly, they took the time to make it work. When challenges came up, they came up with solutions. The bathroom is exactly what we envisioned and CC&R made it happen! The work is quality work. I was concerned about all the drywall repair that was needed, but the patching and painting is perfect! They take the time to prep and restore all areas with experienced professionals. Of course, we are extremely pleased with the end result. read more

We had a leak and insurance sent out CCR. CCR did a bid and sent out people. The third party gave us the ol scroogie. Didn't do a third of the work on the bid. No called no showed SEVERAL times with no communication for days after- if they did answer it was always with an excuse when we followed up. One time Hugo said he lost our number even though he was texting us. Another time they had truck trouble. Then they ran out of excuses and we had to call the boss to find out when they were coming back. One day a guy said he was quitting and slapped together the rest of the bathroom and left. Then we sent pics and they said someone would come back Monday. No call no show on Monday. Called again and they said someone would be out Wednesday - guess what? It was the guy who quit. He decided to stay. Not happy and would not allow them in my home again. read more

Truly the worst case scenario happened. Came back from a baby moon to a flooded kitchen!! COULD YOU EVER?! Discovered the leak mid January. After feeling unsure about the mitigation companies suggestions of contractors (they never called back until a month later) options we went to USAA and CCr was on the list of local approved vendors. We went with 3 contractors to give us quotes. CCR was prompt and when I interacted with Brett I felt at ease. In addition they had someone who was in charge of USAA claims. I wanted someone to help that was versed in how to work with our insurance company. Keep in mind I was about 2-1.5 months from my due date. My only request was to get it done before that. With the supply chain issues and current workload for contractors I was able to get on the schedule a few weeks out. Tight but doable. We ended up getting the kitchen complete one week before due date. I had great communication with my PMs and the contractor was so very helpful. We even had a request for a touch up and they were happy to stop by a week after the birth to complete the request. I highly recommend! read more

I have nothing but positive things to say about working with CC&R Construction. I feel so fortunate to have been directed to them by USAA. Brett interfaced really well with USAA and negotiated with them to get everything done that was needed. I had a roof and dining room ceiling that needed to be replaced as a result of the heavy rains and winds we had last January. Brett was so responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. I can't imagine going through the project without his assistance. I felt confident that he would take care of whatever bumps in the road there might be. There were a few that came up with an outside contractor and he did just that. Peter and his crew were exceptional and wonderful to work with. They were friendly, came on time, worked hard, and cleaned up every day. There was a lot of attention to detail. The roof looks better now than it ever has due to some solutions to problems that they came up with. They again attended to detail with the work done in replacing the ceiling in the dining room. I found CC&R Construction to be fair and honest, and so easy to work with. I would hire them again in a hearbeat! read more

OUTSTANDING! These guys are the best. From dealing with the office staff, project manager, and roofers, I couldn't be more satisfied with the work. Roof repair and their quality of work is top notch! CC&R is the best contractor we've ever used and we're grateful to USAA for the referral to them. Initially they did a job for us restoring our custom master bath that was covered by insurance. We were so impressed that we immediately hired them for another (non-insurance related) project to renovate our outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Our Project Manager, Moises Hernandez, stayed in close touch with us and was extremely responsive to our various questions and requests. When he was not on the job site we communicated primarily by text, and most often he would respond within 5-10 minutes of receipt. In addition, we were very impressed by their subcontractors who maintained the same quality of work and standards of customer service practiced by CC&R. read more

I am really pleased with CC&R's work to put my master bedroom and bath together after being flooded by my neighbor's leaking shower pipe. Drywall, texture, painting, new shower, rebuilt vanity. Everything is as good (better) as before the leak. A special thanks to Victor for his incredible work. Thanks to project manager Matt for getting everything scheduled so that the work was done quickly and correctly. I hope not to have anything like this happen in the future, but if it does, my request will be to have CC&R on the job. Thanks CC&R for a perfect experience to a trying time. read more

CCR came in and saved us from a major leak when we had no idea what to do. The service was above and beyond.

CCR Construction repaired and painted our downstairs breakfast area after a large leak from a faulty upstairs shower. They also did a remodel on our bathroom, complete with upgrades. Though it's often difficult to have workers in and out of your house during construction, we were impressed with the courtesy and consideration of CCR's entire crew. Hugo, the contractor, was super easy to work with and considered all of our needs and preferences as the job unfolded. The same was true for Jennifer, the job coordinator. Everyone, right down to Jodi in the business office was a pleasure to work with and did their best to accommodate our needs. The skill workmanship in our home is top-notch and we would highly recommend CCR Construction to anyone needing home repair/remodeling. read more

When the rains came in January, I discovered a leak in the roof of my 100-year-old home. The leak ruined the historic coved ceilings in our living room and created a mold problem. I called several construction companies to repair it that State Farm recommended. I chose CC&R because they were the only multiple winners of the "Golden Hammer" award, the restoration business top award nationally for best Customer Service and Quality. We are overjoyed with the results of the repairs (their team had a plaster expert and a mold expert), and they got rid of all of the mold due to the damage. Most importantly, they helped me negotiate the complete restoration with the insurance company, which tried to underestimate the claim!!! Thanks, Bill, Brett, and the entire team. I highly recommend CC&R for any job! They are the best! read more

We woke up on New Year's Day to find three rooms in our house flooded, which soaked our flooring and drywall. Thankfully, our Home Owners Insurance Company sent out CCR to save the day! Everything got cleaned up and we now have brand new walls and flooring. And we feel safe knowing that everything is clean and dry. It was great working with Matt and Victor, and Jodi, in Customer Service, was very friendly as well. We highly recommend CCR Construction if you should find yourself in need of their services. read more

CCR was selected by my insurance company to handle water damage repairs from a roofing leak. Having had a bad experience with the roofing company, I was very skeptical of another construction company. However, working with the project manager (Christian) and his team, I was very impressed and happy with their work. Their positive attitude and "can-do" energy proved to be inspirational. Without hesitation, CCR will be the contractor that I use for my all my future home project. Thanks so much, Marcus S, read more

Wow! What a fabulous company. I had a leak in my roof, and my insurance company assigned CCR to the project. Immediately, they were so quick to start working, and they were extremely kind and understanding of my concerns. I would love to work with them again in the future. Thanks CCR!! read more

Our toilet seal failed, flooding both our bathrooms. State Farm has a list of preferred vendors, of which CC&R is one. I had another contractor aggressively courting my rebuild job, telling me an insurance-recommended contractor would "do what the insurance company wants, not want you want". I e-mailed Bill, the owner of CC&R, with questions about the job. Bill cut through the nonsense and gave me the straight info. Moreover, he had his answers to me by 8 am the next day (I had emailed him at midnight). (For reference, I also emailed the other contractor a list of questions; he didn't get back to me until the afternoon, and only after I told him I was no longer interested.) Our bathroom rebuild was finished eight calendar days ahead of schedule, exactly the way my wife and I wanted it and better than it was before. Bill, Ron, Jodi, and Adrian made the job run like clockwork and put our minds at ease every step of the way. I highly recommend CC&R Construction and will call them again in the future! read more

After experiencing water damage to my home AAA Insurance recommended CC&R construction. I will give these guys a 2 for the mediocre restoration job they did replacing my hardwood floors. However, the lack of care they exhibited with my belongings was inexcusable. My wife and I were out of our home for four weeks. During that time I found windows left open all night leaving my valuables exposed (tv's, computer, jewelr, etc.). Additionally, I incurred thousands of dollars in damage to expensive window coverings which they did replaced. However, dealing with Bill C. the owner was an awful experience unless you like your integrity questioned. I could go on but I can summarize by just saying steer clear of this outfit (CC&R Construction) if you value your home, its contents and your peace of mind. read more

The job cite was 1221 Parker Place #5 San Diego. Bill brought people to replace some drywall and Baseboards. Very simple but the people he brought spoke very little English and No English. I left them alone in the condo and they replaced a little bit of drywall. They also left the door open and left the condo. I called the insurance company and they fired them. I replaced all their work as they hung two layers of drywall by putting up two sheets then screwing through both sheets on a firewall. The guys were poorly trained if at all. read more

Thank you so much for an amazing job done professionally in a timely manner. CCR was in charge of restoring our bathroom, drywall, and painting the ceiling and walls after a toilet leakage. CCR sent an agent promptly, he made a thorough plan and worked with the insurance. CCR kept us informed at all times regarding the current and next steps. They managed to find a perfect match for the bathroom tiles and paint color. Each day a multi-professional team arrived on time, kept their masks on indoors, and completed their job as promised. They cleaned everything and the result is amazing! We are so pleased with the outcome and would definitely call again for future projects. Thank you so much! read more

7/13/2015 LEAK JOB and KITCHEN REMODEL: When our master bathroom tub cracked and leaked onto the kitchen downstairs, CC&R was at our door the next morning. Peter Keating who was assigned to supervise the repair was professional, always on time and accommodating with all of our questions and concerns. His men did an excellent job and Peter made sure the job was done very well. He even had his men come back all the way from Oceanside to Penasquitos just for a tiny minor correction which we could have done ourselves. Peter was a perfectionist and we love it about him. One of my pet peeves is people not returning my calls or e-mails. Yet, Peter Keating always gets back to me timely, every time we have any questions. Anyways, that kitchen job is now done, we have a good feeling we're going to have CC&R and Peter Keating come back for a bath remodeling project soon! Thank you CC&R for a job well done. MASTER BATH REMODEL: It only took a week for Peter Keating's team to start my master bath remodel. I didn't have to wait 6 months!!!!!! Seriously!!!! That's what another huge company told me. And the quote was comparable at that. A big SHOUT out to my outstanding project manager, PETER KEATING (Peter, you deserve a promotion for not missing any of my phone calls and e-mails) , and to my cool, no-nonsense demo pros, CRAIG & JEFF. Our home had a water leak under the sink in our kitchen, after Servpro dried out the water damage, our insurance company gave us some recommended Construction & Restoration companies; we chose CCR. Our CCR Project Manager was Matthew Biedderwolf; Matthew was an amazing Project Manager, we absolutely loved working with him. Matthew was beyond "Excellent", the ultimate professional throughout the entire restoration process: which included refinishing all kitchen cabinets, replacement of all countertops, installation of a new sink and faucet, and replacement of the kitchen floor. Matthew's expertise was evident from our first meeting with him. He met with us to make selections for all kitchen replacement equipment needing to be restored and replaced. Matthew had such an informative and personable personality; we knew immediately we had chosen the right company. Our kitchen restoration required the expertise of a CCR Plummer; we hit the jackpot, Matthew had a Plummer on his team, his name was Victor, and to put it in a word, "Excellent". Victor, the same as Matthew, was so professional and down to earth and easy going and detailed oriented. We were so impressed by Victor's work ethic and customer service and professionalism, we asked Matthew that if we have future pluming issues, could we call on Victor. If you ever need a Contruction & Restoration Company, we most definitely recommend Covington Construction & Restoration Inc. We would give CCR's Project Manager and Plummer 10 stars if we could; they provided us with "Amazing Customer Service and Expert Repair and Restoration" services. We are so grateful and feel "Blessed" to have worked with these "Amazing CCR Team Members". Thank you, CCR, Matthew and Victor; our kitchen looks "Beautiful" we love it, and we owe it all to you.
