Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. We had a situation where we found water damage from our refrigerator water dispenser tubing underneath a built-in fridge that got into flooring, dry wall, and adjacent cabinets. We also noticed that the floor in a different room had been warped for awhile, and finally connected that there might be a slow leak. We had multiple bids come out to assess the situation, and West Coast Restoration was by far the most competitive bid. We dealt primarily with Albert for the project management portion of the process, and he was communicative by chat and by phone, explaining the whole process in a reassuring fashion to me and my partner. Askia and Chris were the ones who did the initial assessment, and they also were the ones who came out to do our project. They were incredibly timely, courteous, took time to review and explain each step of the process of what they found, making a headache of a situation a lot better. Honestly, the customer service that Albert, Askia, and Chris demonstrated was above and beyond the other two companies that came out, and having a competitive price to match really sealed the deal. Askia and Chris did a fantastic job on the remediation, which took approximately a week across two different areas, which included removing glued-down wood boards. They were very careful in setting up containment and cleaning up afterwards. Everything was completed on schedule, allowing us to move to the next phase. I hope I never have to use them again... but if I ever need remediation, I know exactly the company I will call. A shout-out to Nathan, the owner as well, for having such a fantastic team!!

When I had my spouse on video call to see the progress, he said their work was clean. We've worked with other companies for demo but these guys were wayyyy better at it. That…read moresaid, accidents happen, like maybe you're fooling around near the side of your house and you gently tap the "inspector's test valve" for your sprinkler system. Suddenly all heck breaks loose and you've now got several walls full of water. After realizing exactly what I had done (the fire alarm helped me understand), I called around all the big name companies that do this sort of water damage repair. The quotes I got were ridiculously HIGH. I decided to go local and gave Moe and his team (read: family) a call. Not only could they fit me into their schedule quickly, but they are also a one stop shop, meaning, when they leave your house, it looks just like it did before you broke your sprinkler pipe. Most of those big name companies require you to get someone else to do the drywall/painting part. All the Mold Safe guys that worked on the job were not only related to each other, they were also great workers and great people. They kept everything clean and showed up when they said they would. They kept me in the loop as to what was being done and explained anything I asked questions about. They dried the walls, cut out and replaced the wet drywall and added the matching orange peel texture when they did the final painting. Color matched, perfect finish. And when Ted was finished fixing the hole in the stucco left by the sprinkler system guy (yeah, it has to be a certified professional who fixes anything to do with your sprinkler system, not just any plumber), he went around my house with the left over spackle and fixed several other stucco dings in my house. Above and beyond. Like I said at the beginning, you really don't want to ever have to call these guys, but if you do find yourself in this sort of a situation, don't risk the mold, just call Moe. Chase came by the same day to assess the damage and had an estimate ready the very next day. I found the estimate and statement of work to be very professional and reasonable, and accepted it right away. Ted came and performed the work in multiple stages within the same week - demolition and clean-out, drywall replacement, and painting. He was thorough and searched for and treated mold in the carpet, along the walls, and even in the ceiling. Ted was very respectful to us and responsible, and was very knowledgeable. I felt peace of mind that our home would be in good shape thanks to Ted's quality of work. Micah also came with Ted one of the days and was also respectful, skillful and efficient. Gianna from the office was also very responsive and helpful. My wife told me she was impressed with how thorough Ted was. For example, he created a plastic wall to seal off the work area and prevented the rest of the bedroom from getting contaminated and dirty. We will definitely use Mold Safe Solutions for any future incidents that may come up and recommend them highly.

Two were forgettable. Express Dry was not. Let's start with the basics: they showed up 15 minutes EARLY. I didn't know that was still a thing. From the first call to the final walkthrough, communication was consistent and clear, no chasing anyone down, no vague timelines, no "someone will be there between 8am and never." Before anything else, their first responder, Christian, did a quick health survey -- asthma, allergies, immune compromised household members? They came prepared. That meant a lot to our family and honestly set the tone for everything that followed. The crew arrived that afternoon, introduced themselves, walked through their scope for the day, and then proceeded to professionally protect every floor, wall, and personal item in sight before getting to work. They worked in 100-degree heat, in a garage tent with industrial drying fans blasting, and stayed until 7pm on a Friday night. On a FRIDAY. These people have my respect forever. Each evening you get a full inventory and walkthrough of the day's work plus what's coming next. PMs arrived every afternoon to check progress. I'm convinced they swept up every last speck of dust before they left, the house was cleaner than before they arrived. Shout out to Christian, Omar, and the rest of the crew whose names I absolutely should have written down -- I'm sorry, you all deserved better from me. Meticulous. Professional. Health-conscious. The only reason I even went with them was because of the impressive plumber I met with that recommended them. They came that night and helped initiate the process of drying the next day. Noah Lopez was the rep and was my contact initially. I saw 3 restoration companies that day and 3 plumbers so I had a decent idea how of much water damage, estimated time of deconstruction and reconstruction. A lot of companies get a bad reputation because they try and tear up as much as possible and I thought Express Dry was different but I was proven wrong. After a few days of drying, they all of a sudden discovered that my tiles were 30-99% saturated and they had to rip them up which would add another 2 weeks of work. I was confused on how this was NOT spotted initially by them or any other company I saw that initial day of interviewing. Everyone commented on how I should be lucky that the tiles didn't get wet. So obviously I called BS on them. They tried several scare tactics by having me sign some hand written statement that I would be liable and having multiple try and convince me to remove the tiles. Thank God I got a second opinion and had an outside company return to check for water damage and they too once again confirmed that tiles weren't wet and even if they were, there are other options that don't involve tearing up the tile. I thought I was getting a company that looked out for me but they were obviously looking to rip off the insurance company and make money for them. Noah tried to convince me not to contact my insurance company myself and he would do it all for me but I'll glad I called my insurance while he was present. I think that made him upset because after that, he went from being pleasant to being irritated, especially after the process began and I attempted to contact him. There were other things they did that also rubbed me the wrong way but I don't want to get anyone fired. Just another example of how can't even trust people to have some decency, even in 2026

We hired SunCoast Restoration in 2025 for mitigation and restoration following water damage…read more The mitigation portion of the project went smoothly and was completed without issue. Unfortunately, our experience with the restoration phase was much more challenging. From an administrative standpoint, we received a final restoration invoice that did not properly reflect payments we had already made and included materials we had purchased ourselves. We notified SunCoast of these issues immediately, provided receipts and documentation the same day, and were told the invoice would be revised. Despite multiple follow-ups, we did not receive a corrected invoice or meaningful communication for nearly two months. Instead, a mechanic's lien was filed against our home based on the uncorrected invoice. After filing a complaint with the BBB and notifying SunCoast that we intended to pursue the issue further if it remained in place, we finally received a corrected invoice. We promptly mailed payment, and the lien was subsequently released. We also experienced workmanship concerns during the restoration process, including loose fixtures, electric work and finish details that required additional attention after project completion. By the end of the project, we were exhausted by the ongoing billing and communication issues and chose to address some remaining items through another contractor rather than continue working through SunCoast. In addition, we experienced a gas leak after returning home. The workers had moved our gas dryer and did not properly secure the gas line but put the dryer back in its place. We had not been informed of any concerns regarding the gas connection or that there were precautions we should take before turning the gas back on. We ran laundry overnight and woke up to the smell of gas. We notified them and they took full responsibility. Fortunately, no one was injured. While some aspects of the final restoration turned out well, the combination of billing errors, prolonged communication gaps, the filing of a lien during an unresolved billing dispute, workmanship concerns, and the gas safety issue made this an unnecessarily stressful experience. My advice to anyone considering this company would be to carefully review all invoices, maintain thorough records of payments and communications, and inspect completed work closely before making final payment.

Bill is a true craftsman! I've had a wood gate that has needed rebuilding for the last 8 years…read more Pieces of the wood gate were rotting. Over the years, I've had other handymen pass on the project. I had a handyman who was able to fill the rotted areas with wood filler, sand it, and restain it. I've even had a gate company tell me that they could not save the gate; it would need to be completely replaced. Bill was able to cut out the rotted pieces of wood, replace them, and restain the whole gate (he also repainted the decorative hardware on the door as well). Moreover, he discussed the project with a buddy of his and they determined that the gate was sitting over a muddy part of landscaping which is probably what facilitated the deterioration of the wood. We found some leftover pavers in our storage shed and Bill extended the pavers so the gate would sit over pavers instead of mud. Before he embarked on the wood gate repair, Bill also installed a valance/shade over a window. He made the necessary calculations to ensure that the valance/shade would be centered on the wall and window. He also made sure that the valence was leveled. Bill is honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. If you want someone to treat your project and your home, like it's his own, I would give Bill a call.

At this point, I don't feel confident that another attempt would achieve the results I would like.

Recently, I had them come out because I suspected termites in one of our rafter tails. To their credit, they correctly identified that specific spot as just fungus and didn't try to oversell me on treatments I didn't need. However, their inspection was incredibly brief. They spent only a few minutes scanning the house, didn't check the attic at all, and gave us the all-clear. A couple of days later, I had a second company come out for another look. They spent almost an hour doing a thorough inspection and found a severe termite infestation in a different rafter tail that was almost entirely hollowed out. They spotted the signs right through the paint. Green Flash completely missed this. On top of the missed inspection, the wood rot repairs Green Flash did for us 5 years ago (costing about $1,200) have both failed and need to be redone. They spliced a rafter tail that is now loose, and it turns out they miscut a replacement barge board on the back of the house. To cover up the bad cut, they glued a scrap piece of wood over it, which has since detached and is currently hanging off the board. Bottom line: They failed to do a thorough termite inspection, and their carpentry work doesn't hold up. I highly recommend getting a second opinion on their inspections and hiring a dedicated specialist for any actual wood repairs.

A few months back, after my home was severely damaged by a water leak from a busted pipe in my walls, I was able to find Element Construction and Restoration after going through several yelp reviews to find a contractor. Element had 5 star reviews across the board, so I reached out to them. They were able to schedule a time to meet with me and give me an estimate for the repairs. After talking with Paul, he was able to explain the process of how to deal with insurance and made me feel very comfortable to work with them. From start to finish, the team was exceptional, completing the entire restoration project over a 5-week period. They were incredibly punctual, making sure every phase of the restoration was completed on schedule without sacrificing any quality. I was impressed by their ability to manage the project with each task seamlessly transitioning into the next. The attention to detail in reconstructing the damage to my home was remarkable. They updated me regularly and gave me direction as to where to shop for the materials I needed to replace. When it came to repainting the interiors, they perfectly matched the existing paint, leaving no visible signs of the damage. The cabinets, which had been completely ruined, were removed and replaced with a white shaker cabinet they were able to direct me to. The tile work in the bathrooms and kitchen was meticulous, and the final result looked as if the space had never been touched by water damage. They also replaced the damaged flooring with flooring I chose, and the transformation was more than I expected. I discovered Element Construction and Restoration on Yelp. Paul came out to my project to assist with water damage I discovered after moving into my new condo. The previous owner had clearly hidden the damages. I was devastated and had no idea what to do. I had worked so hard to save up and to buy my first new home. SOOOOO you can understand how stressed and upset I was when all of this happened. Long story short Paul came out and helped identify what was causing the water damage. He then recommend a remediation company to demo the damages and dry everything out. I felt confident after speaking with Paul who has a true knowledge of restoration work so I called the remediation company he recommend and trusted them to the dryout. I was extremely happy during the whole remediation process and Paul stayed in constant contact with me. After the dryout was done he came back to assess all the damages and promptly worked with my insurance company to pay for the repairs. The insurance company tried to minimize the damages and skimp out on what needed to be paid. TYPICALL !! Paul remained calm and professionally explained to the adjuster why the repairs costs what they cost. He also sent them additional pictures and very descriptive emails so they could understand the situation. Once they understood the gravity of the damages they agreed to cover the necessary costs Paul was asking them to pay. His team began the repairs and before I knew it my new home was new again!! This time with no hidden damages. I would recommend Paul and his team to anybody. There are not a lot of honest contractors in the world so if you get the chance to work with Paul and his team you'll be very lucky! read more

Recently our kitchen cabinets had been ruined by water damage from our dishwasher leaking. It was one of those situations where we really didn't want to have to deal with it, especially in the midst of a pandemic. Many of our neighbors and friends had told us that they were having a hard time getting contractors as everyone was booked. After talking to our insurance about the issue, I discovered Element Construction and Restoration. I reached out to Paul and he quickly got back to me. Within a day he was at our house, reviewing the damage and helping to give us a plan of action. He referred a water remediation company to me who was able to come one day later to take care of the water damage and remove the cabinets. Through the process we ended up getting an entirely new kitchen that is beautiful and we truly love. Our kitchen was from 1989 and having this new kitchen makes the house feel like it is our own. We had a Quest (polybutylene) pipe burst, which resulted in flooding in our master/guest bathrooms and garage. We were referred to Element Construction by our plumber. We were able to quickly contact Aaron and Paul. They assessed the damage and proposed a detailed plan to get our house repaired and usable again. We also added several upgrades, like a walk-in shower in the master bath, Quartz counter tops in bathrooms and shower enclosures, and some kitchen cabinet work. Element Construction easily handled our additional requirements. It was a pleasure seeing the different teams arrive each day and get right to work. The entire team was very high caliber, efficient and professional. They all worked together like a well-oiled machine. I had experienced some damage in the ceiling, walls, and vanity of my master bathroom area. The insurance company sent out a contractor to demo the affected area ... which was completed ... and then nothing. Fast forward to my search for a responsive company to restore my home. Enter Paul of Element Construction and Restoration. He responded quickly to my request, produced a bid even more quickly. To be thorough, I spoke with other companies before choosing Element. I do not regret it. The bid was competitive; a crew was dispatched shortly thereafter and they were focused and efficient; a few added tasks were accommodated seamlessly; Paul had offered to speak to the insurance company about adjustments for any shortfalls (which turned out not to be a problem), but Paul did intervene on my behalf with the purchase of new tile flooring. Element Construction restored our Living Room and Master Bathroom and also upgraded our Master Shower and Tub. Aaron did a terrific job managing this project. He set our expectations and was very communicative during the whole process. He was able to take a lot of stress off of getting the crew together, coordinating, and making sure timelines and budgets were met. He also took the stress off of working with insurance. The crew had very good input into what was good for looks and also maintenance during the upgrade and for the most part were very respectful in making sure that it was our wish before they took action such as removing certain things or installing the big ticket items in a certain fashion. Be communicative and they will work with you to make sure that they can meet your requests within reason. We are very happy with the end result. I recenetly worked with Paul Courtwright and his team for some water damage repairs. They were extreamly profesional and diligent in the repair work. I was very reluctant to start the repairs before the insurnace company had approved the estimate Paul sent them. He reiassured me that on my water loss project it was best to start sooner then later and the insurance company could take weeks with the review and to approve the estimate *which they did*. Paul and his team had the repairs completed about three weeks before the insurance company *Allstate, worst company every! If you have them switch now!!* finalized the repair estimate Paul gave them. I'm so glad I listen to him and didn't wait on WorstState. Thank you again Paul for your patience with receiving the insurnace payment and all your insurnace knowledge. Paul the owner and Aaron the project manager came out quickly to assess the damage and discuss some options. Paul is super nice and easy to talk to yet very professional and knowledgeable. I had a leak in an upstairs bathroom which also did damage to a downstairs bathroom. Paul came to my home and made an estimate for the insurance company. The insurance company came with a bid lower than Element's, but both Paul and I persisted that the bid was fair and just for the work that needed to be done. I was convinced from the beginning that Paul's team was the right one for the job. I had such a wonderful experience working with Paul and his Team. I had a flood and was working with my insurance company. Everyone that came out working on different parts, putting my house together were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. My job was not terribly large (kitchen Island rebuild following water damage from burst pipes), but the job was done extremely quick, and he handled all of the red tape with the insurance company to ensure the job was not only covered, but to the degree of quality that was required. We had a leak in our bathroom and after the plumber had fixed the issue, we went with Element Construction to redo our vanity and the flooring. I dealt with Aaron, and he was brilliant to work with. Aaron was attentive, easy to work with, and he really kept on top of everything - especially with the insurance company. I. Had a major flood in my hall. Bath which went through to my laundry room so I had element construction. Come out, Aaron was my Project manager and he did a fabulous job. Then he said his drywall guy was messy and he had no one to put back in my washer and dryer . So he was not interested in doing any rebuilding like was promised . So I could of been finding people to do the work in the days that everything was drying out . When I texted him about all this he never responded . If I knew all this going in I would of went with another company that actually does what they promise . Do yourself a favor and find another company to mitigate your water damages .
