Outstanding Service from Trusty Plumbing - Highly Recommend! I can't say enough great things about Trusty Plumbing in Oceanside. I initially reached out regarding a bathroom Moen faucet that would not shut off properly--it continued to run unless turned far to the left, which clearly indicated an internal issue (likely the cartridge or valve). I'm located in south Carlsbad near Aviara Parkway, and timing and budget were important to me. Dominic responded incredibly fast, letting me know he could have someone out within an hour for a free quote. I had already received two other estimates, and Trusty Plumbing came in about $50 less, which immediately stood out. After inspecting the situation, they made a thoughtful and honest recommendation: since this was a double-sink bathroom with 40+ year-old faucets, it would be smarter to replace both faucets so they matched--rather than repairing just one (even though the second faucet was still working fine). That made perfect sense, and I appreciated the transparency. Once work began, they discovered that both angle stops were rusted in the "on" position and needed replacement. While this was unforeseen, Dominic was very understanding of my limited budget and reduced the overall price to help offset the additional cost. That level of integrity and customer care is rare these days. The entire job took about two hours, and everything was completed flawlessly. The faucets work perfectly, shut off completely, and the bathroom now looks absolutely amazing. From quick communication and fair pricing to professionalism and quality workmanship, Trusty Plumbing exceeded my expectations. They've earned my trust and will absolutely be my go-to for all plumbing and heating needs moving forward. Thanks again, Dominic and team--top-notch service all around! James read more

Very quick to respond and showed up on the early side of the service window. I'm very happy with their speed and responsiveness.

We used Trusty Plumbing to install our new Toto toilet, and they made the whole process really simple. They arrived on time, worked neatly, and kept the area clean from start to finish. Plumber was friendly. The installation itself was done carefully and looks solid and well-finished. Communication was quick, and they were straightforward about everything, priced competitively, and no surprises. They noticed that we had some issues with our angle stop and was able replace same day. They also assisted us with doing quick inspections of our other toilets and completed additional items on top of our original scope of work. We're really happy with the result and would absolutely recommend Trusty Plumbing for any bathroom installations or plumbing work. read more

Friendly, reliable, and did the job with ease. Called them the night before and they were out the next morning. Would definitely recommend!

He did a great job replacing my garbage disposal. He was professional, on time, and explained everything clearly. The work was done quickly and cleanly, and the new disposal works perfectly. Pricing was fair, and I really appreciated how easy the whole process was. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing plumbing or handyman work. read more

We had a completely fused shower cartridge that turned into a waaayy bigger fix than the quick DIY project we anticipated after the stem broke off. I got on Yelp & searched hoping to find a plumber who could come out the same day. Based on their 4.9 rating and great reviews, I called Trusty Plumbing....kinda skeptical with the name at first LOL but their reviews & rating & my desperation had me dialing!! Dominick asked us to send a couple photos so he could assess the issue, then dispatched Milton, who literally showed up within the hour. Seriously a lifesaver! What could have turned into a $1,200 wall-opening repair ended up costing a couple hundred thanks to Milton's skill and patience. He carefully chipped away at the completely seized cartridge for two solid hours & removed it w/out damaging the valve. From start (answering my call) to finish (coming out n removing & switching out the mineral built up fused cartridge) they were polite, friendly knowledgeable, patient, and clearly experienced! :) We are beyond grateful. 1000% recommend Trusty Plumbing! read more

Pricing was good for valves but excessive for shower pfister valve and trap replacement. Obtained service from other plumber. read more

I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!! I had an excellent experience with this plumbing service. The issue was diagnosed and resolved quickly, and Dominick was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Everything was explained clearly, and the work was done efficiently with great attention to detail. It was such a relief to have the problem fixed so smoothly. I highly recommend this service to anyone in need of reliable, expert plumbing help! read more

I have been trying to get an estimate since March 25th for installing submeters. I called and was told they handle them, was directed to send an email with my request. I sent photos, specs, everything as I was told they wouldn't need to go to the site to provide an estimate. I followed up multiple times. Dominic reached out asking me to call. I left him a voicemail, and followed up with an email. Finally on the 13th of May I said I had received the meters and wanted to follow up again for the quote. I even gave him an out saying "if you are not interested or don't have time please let me know." He said he would get the quote to me that day. Two weeks later I have nothing. I went with someone else. read more

Impressed by how quickly they were able to respond... I actually called someone else first, had a weird experience with what I assume was a chatbot and it just didn't feel right. I'm glad I reached out to Trusty Plumbing-- everyone was super friendly and kept me updated throughout the process of fixing an outdoor leak. Thanks guys! read more

I have been a property manager for almost 30 years and I have worked with many licensed contractors. When I was notified about a water leak at a property that I manage I called the plumber I was using for the past couple of years. They were unable to respond in a timely manner so they referred me to Trusty Pluming. Dominic answered the phone and from the moment we spoke I knew this was going to be a good experience. Dominic came out right away and located two leaks (wax seal around the toilet and bathtub drain seal). The water had damaged the ceiling of a neighbor's garage so we had to coordinate the repair with the tenant, neighbor, and property owner. Dominic worked with everyone involved to schedule and complete the repairs. Trusty Plumbing is now my number one plumber of choice for my rental properties! read more

1. Returned my call in a timely manner on a Sunday morning. 2. Listened carefully to my needs and took notes. 3. Scheduled work for the next day (it was a holiday) 4. Gave me a fair (for both of us) price. Hard to find plumbing companies that truly care about giving great service like this in today's world, I definitely recommend you check them out. read more

They did a repipe at our house and finished in the time promised and did an excellent job.

My husband and I had a great experience with Dominic at Trusty Plumbing. We were having some issues with our hot water and had another company come out previously who completely misdiagnosed the issue and gave us a hefty quote for services we didn't need. Dominik was super knowledgeable and was able to help resolve the issue for us. Will definitely know who to call next time we need a plumber! read more

Called for a quote and the plumber said they could only do in person quotes. I rearranged my work schedule to be available. The plumber that came was very nice and professional. However, the quote was very high for a labor only job. I had the supplies and the faucet, so all I needed was a professionals service. I was quoted close to $300. I passed and will look for another plumber. read more

Trusty plumbing is literally the best. They are better than all of the big plumbing companies. The other companies always try to upsell us and tell us things are wrong that are perfectly fine. Dominic and his dad are fair and honest. What a breath of fresh air! They are quick to respond and their work is always stellar. I use them for my real estate clients and I will continue to use them for my personal residence. As long as they are in business, they will have me as a customer! read more

100% without a doubt recommend Trusty Plumbing! Specifically Dom from Trusty Plumbing is the best! He is super responsive and super, super helpful, knowledgeable, and reliable and goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. He came to my new apartment several times with a hot water heater debacle we had going on and while he was there helped with a couple other issues I had no questions asked. One of my tenants reported a leak at the end of the day. After getting navigating through answering services and call backs I reached out to Trusty Plumbing. Brandon actually answered the phone, discussed my issue, and had a tech assigned right away. The tech was very timely, called me multiple times to update me, and diagnosed and repaired the leak very quickly. The overall service was amazing, the price was fair, and the follow up when I needed photos for the insurance company was spectacular. I highly recommend Trusty. Thanks Brandon! read more

Highly highly recommend Trusty Drain!!!! Where to start? They are incredibly reliable...I mean when have you ever said that about a plumber?? Their prices are very competitive, they do amazing work, and the employees and owner are responsive, very kind, and professional. We have used them for emergencies and they have been fast to fit us in as well as figured out issues and solved them very quickly. Currently we have them working on a bathroom addition and they have been so great. They are busy but they know we are in a rush to finish this project so they have bent over backwards to make sure our project gets done. Best plumber ever read more

If there were 10 stars for rating, I would give it! I had a house full of guests and 2 of 3 toilets went out of commission. Despite what sounded like an already full schedule, they fit me in. Jaime arrived quickly, assessed the situation and walked me through the options. He was very polite, professional, and easy to work with. He repaired the issues for both toilets quickly and I am so relieved. The cost was very reasonable, especially compared to a company I had come out some month ago.
