I had some repairs on my house in Modesto in order to sell it. The repairs included roofing, concrete leveling and crack filling, stucco and some other minor stuff. the person I originally met sounded good and could do all the repairs, but then he ghosted me. this left me in a bind to get all the repairs needed within a short time. We hired this company around the 2nd week of January 2025 for a bathroom remodel. We didn't pick anything fancy, and everything was standard. No extras, no frills, and our project is still not completed. The original completion date was set for 2 weeks. It's now 3 months later and it's still not done. They use sub contractors and Mike often times drops the ball. They damaged our brand new floors while installing a tub, they hired a plumbing company that took a week to move piping and install the tub, only for them to finish and find out that the tub was cracked upon installation. So it had to be taken out and redone. We paid over $18k to have this project done and it's been nothing but excuses and lack of communication on Mikes part. His excuse is always the same "I'm sorry, but we're super busy". If you want to micromanage your project then this would be the company for you, but for us it's not. Not worth the money, time, and stress this has caused us. The only part of the project that wasn't his fault resulted in a one week delay due to a busted pipe outside our home that caused flooding. So our floor had to dry out completely. But again, that's accounts for an extra week. It doesn't justify 3-3.5month delay. I'm still waiting to hear back on the fix for the scratched bathtub that his installers did while installing the tub. I sent a follow up email earlier today. So we'll see if this can be resolved soon. Not to mention we gave him a chance to redeem himself by offering up smaller projects, which he was happy to get quotes for, but also took weeks to get back. Mike and his team are the best of the best! Before finding Integrity Home Repair, I was at a loss for finding a reliable contractor who provides great work. I've found that and more in Integrity Home Repair. Mike is extremely responsive, clear, concise and an overall good human being! We needed to close up our upstairs loft to make another bedroom with our 4th child on the way. We had two other contractors do the bare minimum to give us a quote, while Mike insisted on coming out to see what we needed. Mike provides clear expectations, and honesty in what he can accomplish. He wanted to charge $4,500 for the work!! Holy moly!! That is 3-4 hours of work tops and the materials don't cost that much!! Yes, plywood is up and you can see the high price on the Home Depot website or the store, but it isn't $4,500!! That would be $1,000/hr job for labor alone. Nothing he is doing justifies that amount. I contacted Integrity Home Repair to convert our shower into a roll in shower (accessible) for our son. The current shower had a 7 inch curb to access the shower. I got several quotes and also several declinations to do the work since it was not a full gut. I just wanted the curb gone and had to remove some of the tiles (bottom row). Where others said they could not do this job, Mike was very thorough and accommodating to my needs. He did a great job, along with Dennis, the tile guy and Tyler, the plumber. We hired Mike to repair some dry rot we had around a very large window in the front of our house. Mike gave us an estimate quickly after we called and we scheduled him for the following week. The job took all day. He and Gabriel had to remove the exterior trim of our window, remove the window. Cut out the rot, replace the trim, reinstall the window, and paint the new window frame. He and Gabriel worked fast, quietly, and cleanly and our window and frame look great! The final cost was exactly the same as the estimate. Would definitely recommend. read more

Not happy. Talked to the owner and he asked for a picture of my job. Texted it to him and didn't hear back. So I called again a couple days later. We scheduled an appointment at that time on 8/15/2019 at 9:30 AM. They didn't show up, call, text, or notify me in any way that the appointment had been cancelled. Totally bailed on me. They called back, asked me about the problem and asked me to text with my information so they could get me on their schedule. I did that. Mike was responsive, helpful, and thorough. We had him install a security door on our front door. Just by seeing the pictures he knew we needed to change our door trim to accommodate the new door. He took a while to install the door as there was some issues with getting the door completely level. However, he did the best he could and we are overall satisfied. I continued to get duped by Mike Borrero. Shame on me. The final straw came a few days ago when I realized he had charged me $255.00 more than the original outrageous fee of $12,000 to do my front yard. He explained it was to tap into an existing water line to install the worthless drip system for the planters and two new sprinklers for the bushes. That line had rarely been used by me and was perfect. He did tell me he was going to tap into it, but he never said it would cost additional money. It had not been done properly and mike fixed the problem very well and did it efficiently and thoroHe worked many days on it Along with some interior work and it looks fabulous My sliding door would not open, I thought it would need replacing, he fixed the problem on why the door did not slide open. I live in an older home and the drawers were not functioning well and the current track system was broken and there were no tracks that would fit the old drawer. I'm renovating my home and I was very lucky to find Michael. There doesn't seem to be anything he can't repair or install. He built a cabinet in my laundry room exactly the way I wanted it. He then installed my sink and toilet (I wish I had hired him to install the other sink and toilet as well.) He installed my lights and fan. I originally hired another handyman who was suppose to fix my ceiling damaged by a leaking roof. The first guy left me a huge mess so I called Integrity Home Repair. Mike did an absolute amazing job on the ceilings, so good even my husband was impressed (he doesn't impress easily either). I also had him install flooring, fix some broken drawers in the kitchen and bathroom, install a couple ceiling fans, install light/fan combo in bathroom, hang new blinds and replace a few broken doors. All work was done beautifully. My new laminate flooring looks so nice, I'm kind of bummed that it's in our rental and not our house we live in. Everyone who has come to look at the house has commented on how beautiful the floors look. Not only did he do an awesome job on the floors and ceilings, all work was done professionally and within the deadline set for him. I would definitely hire him again for future projects and have already recommended him to my daughter and some friends who need some work done around their homes. Don't let his youth deter you from hiring him, he knows what he is doing and has a lot of talent and knowledge in his trade.
