We chose All about Kitchens based on positive reviews and also because we really liked the fact that they were a One Stop Shop. They had flooring, cabinets, countertops, hardware etc. Jennifer came out and gave an honest opinion of what we could do. She took measurements and said that our granite countertops were good as were our cabinets so we chose to paint our cabinets and add new hardware with several pull out drawers. We also went with newer type flooring they offered. A hybrid core laminate/vinyl. We put flooring throughout the house. This took only 2 weeks and the team was great. I had schedule an in home estimate with this company, a couple days later I decided to go with another contractor as All About Kitchens stated they only paint cabinets or replace them when I first called. So I call to cancel my in home estimate and Jennifer answers the phone, I identify myself and let her know I would like to cancel my appointment. I let her know that I do not need to reschedule as we have chosen another contractor to go with, she replies, "Oh, well", then click, hangs up on me. All I can say is thank you All About Kitchen, I hated our kitchen and about 3 years ago I thought I could re-stain and glaze our kitchen cabinets, well 3 years later only a few doors were done abs a couple went missing. Reached out to All About Kitchen, the girls came in , measured our kitchens did drawings and gave us a proposal which I felt were very reasonable. These guys were fantastic ,day one they sealed our kitchen up plastic all around so no dust could leave the kitchen removed everything cabinets countertops sink garbage disposal, all done the first day. We had a fantastic start as an unfortunate finish with All About Kitchens. I had this job estimated by several companies and AAk was the only one to actually listen to what I wanted instead of the mansplaining that I want something different that I got at several other companies. Jennifer was great to work with to modify the design until it worked perfectly with our space. She listened to my ideas and was able to put them to paper and they were ultimately brought to reality. The showroom was prepared with our latest drawings and samples throughout the process. During install the crew was professional and it looks fantastic. They coordinated the final tweaks on my island to make all the angles work together perfectly. We ended on a sour note when they refused to address damage done to our dishwasher that they removed and installed causing a small leak. They have refused to take any responsibility for the seal issue (occurring exactly where you would grab on install or removal) that was not occurring prior to the removal on a less than 2 year old dishwasher. Extremely frustrating since the project had gone so well and we paid for removal and install, expecting it to be done without damage to our appliance. The door to the dishwasher also now rubs against the built enclosure making it difficult to close. read more

We wanted a company to remodel our kitchen, bathroom, raise ceiling, level laundry room, and replace entire downstairs flooring. I travel for work and did not want to handle the various contractors- All About Kitchens was the perfect company as they that did it all and coordinated the project. I had an idea of I wanted the design but Jennifer the designer was very helpful enhancing the ideas and giving gentle guidance which I so appreciated. I asked her to pick the paint colors and they were spot on and enhanced the look I was going for. Casey and Jack were more than accommodating. We asked to have a add on mirror and doors painted and took this on without hesitation- they had more patience with us on questions, updates etc. than I have seen anywhere. All of the staff at This company were truly nice people and that made a project of this size actually enjoyable! We went away on vacation for 3 weeks and they did demo work- my son checked in and the were great cleaning up as they went. It was fun to come home from vacation and watch the progress. They have their own employees and know their strengths in their work and when to use them on areas of the projects. We enjoyed getting to know them. We went with a light vinyl flooring throughout and couldn't be more pleased- they use an expensive machine to smooth out the concrete floors, fill in before flooring is laid so you get a smooth surface. The cabinets are pre-made and the quality is excellent for the price- we love the color and functionality. It is hard to pick out all the materials from little samples- I liked the backsplash and thought white grout would make it pop but Casey suggested the grey as white can make the imperfections in the title show more- he was right and we are thrilled with the look! Love our quartz counters and they are easy to clean along with our big, deep sink. Below are a few before and after pictures. We had our kitchen remodeled in 2019. They sent a new designer to our home who lacked experience. He quoted us $32,000 to remodel. When the day came to demo they did not cover our furniture nor our window shutters. Everything was covered in dust. Our shutters were broken and although I complained to the company, they just quit responding to me. The workers would lounge on our furniture eating their lunches placing their drinks on our tables without coasters. As the actual installation began things went smoothly. We had promises made to us by one of the managers: they would put a humidity fan in our laundry room and turn our lights into can lights downstairs for no additional charge. The can lights happened the fan did not. There were days that they never even came to work. Casey would respond to calls but was seldom at our house. It took a bit longer than we expected to finish the project. The final result was mediocre at best. Our cabinets which we thought were real are painted wood. Some have soft close most just slam. The granite was installed with seams in the oddest places. The cabinets have areas where the paint is missing. They did not measure properly for the refrigerator and therefore I will never be able to pull it out from its space. Cabinets in laundry room needed touch ups but they never took care of it. Plus, again, the crown moulding was put together with seams in the wrong places. The bathroom cabinet was not the proper height to accommodate the vessel sink we wanted. Children can not utilize the sink because of its height. The flooring looks like crap in the bathroom around the shower area. I know a quote is a quote and there is always little incidents here and there on any remodel but at the end of the project they charged me almost $70,000. read more

There were some delays due to our switching out the backsplash design but we appreciated the good communication with the company to get over those bumps. With guidance from the designer and Bordona's of Oakdale, we replaced all of the appliances with beautiful new fixtures. I would give them zero stars but there is no option. Started an LARGE project in June of 2017. Was to take 8-12 weeks. Here we are a year later it's not completed. Many parts of my home are destroyed. Most of the things they did had to be redone. They used poor quality materials while charging top dollar. The damage to my home is extensive. They use the same people to do all the work... electrical, plumbing, carpentry, tile.... all done by their hired hourly workers. And since we fired them they have not returned calls or emails. They have refused to give us a financial accounting or provide us with our open permits. I have photos, emails and texts. Do not hire this company if you are looking for quality work, quality product and quality people. They even extensively damaged my daughters car oarked in my front yard when they hit it with their big truck taking out the entire front side. To this day their insurance STILL hasn't paid that claim yet either. Their workers sealed off our A/c return ducts with DRYWALL!!!! Blew out our A/c in the middle of July still have not paid for that. They caused EXTENSIVE damage To the exterior of our custom home. These guys are CROOKS!!! We had our kitchen about two years ago wasn't going to do a review but I am pretty pissed off 1 they broke two pictures and never said nothing 2 counters are not level our eggs roll right off 3 our sink was leaking gave them a call they came out and fixed it about four months later we noticed it's leaking again so called again and texted them and even emailed them had no response so I got under the sink to check it out i found out there's three screws that hold the drain on well they only put two on so I bought another screw put it on now no leak so why didn't they do it right in the first place I would never recommend them read more

I am not impressed with this company at all and now we have to live with this huge mistake for a long time. We purchased kitchen cabinets and have had problem after problem! First, we were told we needed their designer to come in to our home and measure. She had a family emergency so of course we tried to be super understanding but she really was no help at all. In fact because of her design we ended up ordering and paying for cabinets that didn't work. Its too bad that at a time like that no one else can step in to help her out. We ordered our cabinets and were told about three weeks for delivery. We had to call them at almost 5 weeks to check in. Once the cabinets were brought home and were starting to get installed by our outside contractor we realized that 6 of the 17 cabinets were the wrong size! Two of the uppers had to be removed from the wall and returned to AAK who cut them down to proper size. One of those cabinets is a microwave cabinet. We were told that they could build us a cabinet. When the cabinet arrived it was simply a cabinet with the doors removed but you can see the hinge marks on the outside. It was also returned damaged. Three other cabinets to an island were too deep. AAK took those cabinets back to the shop and cut them down as well. When we got those back they were falling apart. Our outside contractor had to use brackets to hold them together! The extra time spent fixing these cabinets cost us extra time in labor. Then we had a desk drawer that was a disaster! The drawer needed to be 4" but a 9" was ordered. It was in the design to be 4" but we later found out that the company doesn't even make a 4" drawer so a 9" was ordered without us knowing. We even asked for an itemized list of what we purchased and we were told what we saw in the picture is what we are getting. The problem was you could not physically sit at the desk with your legs underneath and bring a chair tall enough for counter height. We talked with many people about this problem and got nowhere. Finally we got ahold of an owner and got into a yelling match. We were told that it was not their problem and we would have to pay $400 extra for them to cut this drawer down and try to fix this mistake. First, this was their designers design and mess up not ours. Second, the drawer was only $70-$80 and they wanted to charge me that much to fix it?! It was a struggle but AAK ended up fixing it. Another design flaw was we asked if our office drawer could fit file folders and were told yes. Well come to find out the outside measurements of the cabinet are not even close to the inside measurements. So that doesn't work for what we wanted. We are just now putting things away and are still finding broken cabinets. Two drawers have the underneath support beams falling off. Many of the cabinets are dinged and we aren't even fully moved back in. There are more issues but these are the most important. Please consider going with someone else. read more

We had a very good experience with everyone at All About Kitchens. Basically everything was on time, installed the way we wanted it and it seemed like they really did care about whether or not we were satisfied with the end result. My only complaint is with their painting subcontractor. Our kitchen was completed in March, just a few items that needed painting to finalize everything. It's now April 30th and no painter. ABK told us that the painter would show up because they were withholding money from him, but obviously not enough. We contacted the painter directly, received one message from them and that's it. I will be calling ABK on Monday and see if they can get somewhere. Your subs are just as important as your own employees, if not more so read more

My kitchen was completed in September and I am extremely pleased with the results. The job was completed as promised and ON TIME! The installers were courteous, there when they said they'd be there, and left the work area clean. Any issues (and there were only 1 or 2 minor ones) were resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. Since my original review was written concerning my floor, All About Kitchens recognized the issues and agreed to replace the entire floor at their expense. We have had no further issues and are very pleased with the outcome. We determined the problem was faulty thin set used to adhere the tile, and not the workmanship. We're going on 10 weeks for what was originally said to be a 5 week job. The contractors always say they're almost done, and they haven't been back to finish what they're "almost done with" for two weeks. This includes a kitchen and two bathrooms that are being worked on; with one bathroom still not being functional. On top of that, they unplugged our freezer while working and never plugged it back in so everything in it rotted. They cleaned it up and offered a refund which was nice, but seriously. If something is plugged in, there's normally a reason for that. Currently, we are unable to put anything in our kitchen beyond bare necessities as they aren't done working on cabinets, the area by our stove, back splash, etc. We also cannot park our cars in the garage as the tools for the remodeling are in that space, along with household items to make way for the remodel. We are growing increasingly frustrated with this lack of movement on something that is taking much longer than expected, and has gone over budget. In addition, I would like to add that their excuses include "getting paperclips" and instead of contacting us about anything, staying silent for two days before WE had to call and ask why they weren't showing up; the reason ended up being that we hadn't supplied the caulk for flooring. read more
