We got a quote through a Big Box retailer for Vertical Blinds. It was off the charts! I called Ray's Carpet One Floor & Home and discovered that they are a Graber Dealer. They sent Shane out to measure and he brought samples. They promptly provided a quote which was very fair and we placed our order. The blinds arrived right on time and Shane came out within a couple of business days and completed the install. We are very happy with the Graber Blinds and the installation.! Excellent service once again! read more

This was our second time doing business with Rays Carpet One Floor & Home in Modesto. Both times were an exceptional experience. Sonia was very helpful with providing information on the materials we were considering. We went home with samples to be sure the color choices were the right fit. The installation took place within a short period of time. The installer was extremely good and did a great job and cleaned up well after the job. No complaints. Would absolutely recommend them!! read more

We went back to Rays Carpet One to install luxury vinyl flooring in our laundry room and guest bathroom. Our first install a few years ago was for wood flooring in several areas, i.e. den, entry, dining/kitchen. Sonia in the showroom is very cheerful and patient and great at suggesting color ways. We are very happy with both installations!! Martin working on the LVF was very pleasant, professional and addressed a very difficult corner between the two areas with fantastic results. We highly recommend this company. read more

I can't say enough good things about our experience having Ray's Carpet One provide and install our carpeting. Sonia was brilliant in getting our order placed and installation coordinated. Tony and Jay were incredible when they installed the carpeting. Their attention to the detail was second to none. read more

They were great. Super helpful when we needed to replace all of the upstairs and stair carpet.

Sam did a great job, was very clean and respectful of our property, and the price was reasonable. Thank you!

I contacted several flooring places and, by far, Ray's Carpet One was the most responsive and timely in getting back to me and getting me the quote I needed to get moving on replacing the flooring in our new home. Chris was who I dealt with throughout and he was quick and professional and it was hands down the best choice for my home in Manteca. We love the job they did, the price, and the timeline and how they cooperated with scheduling it to fit into all the chaos of closing and moving. Chris will take good care of you if you choose Ray's. read more

We were completely satisfied with our carpet installation. Sonia was extremely helpful and provided great customer service, showing us with a wide variety of selections. Tony, the installation technician, was very professional and did top quality work. Tony went the extra mile to make sure that the installation was to our satisfaction. Rays Carpet is the place you want to go if you want no nonsense professional work done. read more

We had Rays Carpet install new vinyl plank flooring on our stairs and through the entire upstairs of our new home. We wanted something that would either match (as closely as possible) or complement the existing wood-look porcelain tile in the downstairs. Rays had a variety of options and we were able to get one that closely resembled what was already installed. We selected Provenza Maxcore in Sassy Gray. From start to finish Rays communicated clearly, was organized and punctual. Sonia was incredibly helpful and Rob and his install team did a ton of work. They installed flooring in 5 rooms, 2 bathrooms, all closets, and on 15 stairs with 2 sets of landings, plus installed new baseboards in 3 days. Jt looks fantastic! Would definitely recommend Rays for your flooring needs. read more

We had visited two other carpet stores in the area prior to Ray's Carpet as we were wanting to replace the carpet in our master bedroom suite. The minute we walked in and Sonia greeted us, we knew we would be choosing Ray's (Carpet One)! Sonia was very knowledgeable and super helpful! I was specific in my budget, color scheme, carpet tier and time frame that I wanted installation. She helped us select a beautiful carpet that was slightly BELOW our budget without sacrificing the quality and was accommodating to our schedule on the walk through to take measurements of our room. From there, scheduling installation was prompt, payment was easy and the carpet installer (I wish I would have remembered his name) was very polite, professional, clean and he was fast! Everything about this place is 5 star, from their in store employees to their installers, to their selection of flooring, pricing and cleanliness of the store in general. I look forward to replacing the rest of the flooring in our house! Thank you for an amazing experience! read more

Sonia, at Ray's Carpet One, has achieved the impossible -- by helping me pick just the right wood flooring, she has made me fall in love with the dreaded honey oak cabinets ubiquitous in my house and all houses of a certain era in Modesto. My house is gorgeous now. I adore my new walnut floors. They are truly a piece of art, perfectly complementing not only my built-in cabinets but more importantly, my own furniture, which include a range of woods in different shades of color and tones. Ray's installers are artists. They were discerning in how they pieced together the wooden floorboards. They made sure that the overall pattern was pleasing to the eye while also allowing you to enjoy the gorgeous grains and colors in each individual piece. As a quilter, I know it's not easy to piece disparate pieces together in a way that looks effortless. I also appreciate the fact that they rejected certain floorboards because they felt they weren't right for the overall flooring effect. A very important detail that can make or break a design. Ray's Carpet One were professional and a pleasure to work with. Sonia was incredibly helpful in helping me identify what I wanted. She asked all the right questions, which turned what can be an overwhelming process into something painless and easy. Plus she has a sense of humor, which makes everything so much better. The installers were awesome. Not only did I love the end result but they were professional in how they managed my project. Excellent communication, punctual and delivering high quality work. Almost forgot to mention the amazing carpets! My focus was definitely on the hardwood floors. I had no expectations for the carpeting in the bedroom so when I saw -- or should I say, felt, the carpeting, I was in sensory heaven. Plush, perfect padding and beautiful. I should also say something about cost. While flooring projects are never cheap (or at least good quality flooring is not), I'm happy with what I paid. Sonia got me a good deal on carpeting. And by finding me a wood floor that makes my cabinets look awesome, I don't have spend tens of thousands of dollars on new or even refurbished cabinets. It's a sweet savings that I hadn't expected. Definitely recommend Ray's Carpet One. read more

Sonia also stopped by and measured the area for us too, ordered the carpet and it was in fairly very quickly, they were just waiting on us til our house projects were done so they could be installed. Sonia is awesome! After hearing what I wanted to do with my bedrooms and hallway, Sonia came with helpful suggestions that I love. My original vision was to carpet all 3 bedrooms including the hallway which would've ended up ripping up my laminate floors. Thanks to Sonia, we agreed to make rugs out of the carpet I chose. I also, upgraded the baseboards throughout my house. The installers were helpful and amazing. They were quick and efficient. If i could give zero stars I would. Absolutely unprofessional. First, Sonia was set to come and do room measurements for my living room and nursery. After being an hour and a half late to show up, I had to call the store to figure out if she was even going to show up in the first place. Her excuse was another customer had her measure a bunch of extra rooms and thats why she was late. (If she KNEW she was running late, why wouldn't she call ahead of time and let me know?) Next I call to set an appointment and make a down payment. Anne charged my card and I was told she would get back to me on if the date I requested had an opening. I then had to call 3 different times that week and the last call she tells me "oh I thought I had called and confirmed all the appointments that week already" OBVIOUSLY NOT! So this morning I was supposed to have my carpet installed between 8-9am. Anne made sure to tell me a couple times, her "guys" are normally early so I might want to be ready early just in case. Awesome no problem. Well come 9:30am I have to call and ask where the installers are at and if they are still coming! I was told they just left the warehouse after picking up the carpet. (Again if they are going to be late why can't they call ahead of time?) 10:30am rolls around and STILL nobody has shown up. So I call AGAIN and now was told that my appointment time was really 11am to noon this whole time!!! All because Anne didn't get the right confirmation time for me! I am beyond upset. Paid 1,200 for all this bullshit. The guy JUST showed up at 11:20. At least he was polite and friendly. As for the women in the office, kinda seems like nobody knows what the hell they are doing!! Definitely not going to recommend. read more

My review is for for Sonia. Although we did not end up going with Ray's, simply due to some complications and delay in timeline (on our side) I still want to make sure that I leave this review. Sonia was wonderful to work with. We met her in store, which had tons of options. I originally thought I was set on my decision going into the store until I realized my pick looked slightly different than I had remembered. Sonia mentioned that it is all about lighting and she was right! When we visited our home, Sonia was happy to come by to walk the home and do a quote. She also brought all samples with her so that we could look at them inside the home with the lighting. Her quoting time was quick, the pricing was fair and communicating with her was great. I would recommend working with her on your flooring needs! read more

Ray's carpet install carpeting in one of my bedrooms and the team did a great job.

We just had most of our entire home done in LVT by Ray's. Very satisfied...every step of the way. Like everyone else, Sonia took care of us from the beginning. She's awesome. We went with Republic SPC Max and we had considered a similarly-priced product at HD, but the quality of the Republic product is better (thicker wear layer). We are just as happy with the install crew. They showed up exactly when they said they would and were super professional. Finished on time and the craftsmanship is top notch. read more

First, I would like to thank the wonderful staff at Ray's Carpet and flooring. They helped me and were patient, answered all the questions I had and gave me the best over the top service. They are very experienced and professional, communicated well and really know what they're doing! I have the Paradigm brand flooring in the kitchen, dining room and hallway. And I cannot say anything negative about this product! I also purchased Mohawk brand carpet which has such a long warranty and a great price! The carpet looks great and is in top shape-no signs of wear and I have no complaints about this product what so ever. I would definately recommend these products and this business. Not to mention that they have a HUGE selection and offer a relaxed, no pressure experience for the customer. It shows that the staff truly cares about the customer and they strive to do the best for them.
