From the initial contact, to job completion, Justin and team knocked it out of the park. Their pricing is competitive, their attention to detail is refreshing (I've dealt with many a contractor in the past that I had little to no attention to detail) and their professionalism while in my home was comforting! My job was small - 5 rooms with crown moulding, but they never made me feel that mine was any less important than one of their largest jobs. They accomodated the HOA restrictions on start and stop times and stayed until I was satisfied with the job. Communication days before the job was top notch. I never felt like I was going to get any unwelcome surprises. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Justin and crew! I can't wait to bring them in for my next project...... read more

I am really disappointed to have to write this as it seemed like JS Construction was top notch. I filled out a Yelp quote request and eagerly waited to hear back. Yelp said response time is usually within a day. After several weeks of no response I called JSC. Ring ring ring no answer so I left voicemail. Well fellow Yelpers that was about 2 weeks ago. So now we're going on about a month with no contact. I'm glad I found out now and not during my project. read more

A company that charges $150 to come give the client an estimate because of "high demand", makes me want to pass on them. All fairness $150 goes towards the project if you select their bid. But what if it's to high? What if the time frame doesn't work for the client? What if you don't like the workers vibes or communication is off? This post is not about the stars more about the information. Lmk if you'd like me to change your star rating read more

Had him do a kitchen remodel and not only did he do superior work along with his team, but they finished early and under budget. He kept me informed of everything and went above and beyond my expectations. Everyday I was happier and more impressed then the day before and it turned out better than I imagined. He will definitely be my go to contractor for any other remodels I have coming. I highly recommend them. read more

We've hired Justin multiple times now to do various jobs in our home. Big or small he can do it all. He takes such pride in his work and the quality really shows through in every job he's done. We've received lots of compliments. His expertise and attention to detail is unlike any other. You can tell that he really cares about making his customers happy. He listens and then turns your plan into reality. He has even helped in finalizing some of our plans by offering suggestions and options to help in making a decision . We will definitely hire Justin again. You should too! You won't be sorry! read more

Recently needed to add stair rails and banisters at my folks' house in Modesto. Justin was responsive and prompt and thoroughly competent. He had some great ideas for the best way to accomplish the work, and offered several alternatives. His prices were fair and inclusive -- we appreciated that there were no surprises at the end of the job. On job day, Justin and his crew arrived right on time, and they did an absolutely wonderful job. The craftsmanship is excellent, and we are so happy with the results! After the work was completed, they left everything tidy and sparkling. The work was completed on time, as promised. Justin is friendly, very professional, and a licensed contractor. I recommend him without reservation for any carpentry or home repairs you need. We definitely plan to call him back for future projects. His email address is: jbscustomjobs@yahoo.com read more

When a company has ALL outstanding reviews, it sometimes can feel suspect. Let me tell you that you are not the first. I am sailing in the same boat as you :) I was purchasing a new home & I needed a wall between 2 rooms to be removed to make the 2 rooms into one huge 2nd master bedroom. There was different wall paper on the walls which means painting / texturing was on the cards & the room was carpeted. I searched Yelp & Craigslist & invited 8 different Contractors to come give me a bid. Everyone up ahead was told I had a short window of time from close of escrow to my move in & I needed it done in that time frame. As usual, everyone said YEAH - No Problem. One of the 8 invited was JS Construction thanks to all the positive Yelp reviews. The time to arrive for the initial estimate was 10am. 1st time around a young lady came by & she was 5 mins early (what a refreshing change). Every other contractor was anywhere from 15 mins to 3 hrs late. She took notes, took pictures, re-confirmed what I was trying to get done & took measurements & left. 3 days later & I heard nothing back from JS about a bid. I called & the same lady answered & said please give them another 24-48 hrs. This was the ONLY slowness / minor ding / quarter star deduct. I do get an e-mail in the window & the quote given was not the cheapest but same time was not the highest. To give you an idea, I got quotes ranging from $3350 (low baller), $3900 cluster of quotes, JS was at 4200 & some as high as 5500. So what do I do, go to Mr $3350 & sign him up, give him the dates & set everything up. Fast forward a week later & I call Mr $3350 to confirm time & that everythings on schedule & he has taken up a bigger school job & can now not do my work. Imagine the soup I was in. In my mind I was going to spend XYZ & get my work done on time. I then called everyone else I know including JS. Justin was the quickest, most efficient & respectful of them all. He oozed confidence, knew what he was talking about & assured me that what I want will be done. He did give me a little break on the pricing which made me happy all the way around. Justin & his entire crew showed up 5 mins early again the 1st day the work had to be started & boy did they do a great job & did it on time. I just could not ask for more. There were going to be a couple of challenges with the carpeting & that too was done splendidly. I cannot express how happy I am. I am a real person with a real job done. I VOTE for Justin for President :) read more

My fiance (boyfriend at the time) had the pleasure of working with Justin a little over 2 years ago when we bought our first home. Our house was not a fixer upper, but it literally sat on the market for over 2 years before we made the offer. So of course, there were a lot of little things here and there that needed to be fixed that my fiance just didn't have time to do at the time. We decided to find a local, small contractor to help out with some minor details in the house. Justin helped get us through those details and helped SMOOTH (literally he smoothed down a door or two) out the kinks in our home. He was very professional and got the job done right the first time and in a timely fashion. I even toyed around the idea with Justin of making me a one of a kind Wine Rack and I could just see his mind working and imagining something amazing. Weeks after he worked for us, I got a phone call from him with ideas about the wine rack. I still have yet to have him make it is not a big priority yet, but when the time is right, I know the right guy to call. read more

You must call Justin if you need anything done for your home. Justin is professional, always on time and he delivers. He listens to understand what you want and need, and he will collaborate with you on the solution. Best of all, he is honest with his quotes and suggests ways to get the most for what you can afford. Justin got us our beatiful granite countertop and sink and installed our fancy pullout faucet, disposer with countertop push button controls, in counter soap dispensers and dishwasher. He did a wonderful job and delivered quickly that we also had him do our microwave/vent/hood. As with the countertop he got the job done quickly and perfectly. We are on a very tight budget, but with Justin's help our "got it from a foreclosure auction" home looks grand! read more

My husband and I recently hired Justin to install crown moulding in our home. Justin was extremely helpful when it came to helping us choose the crown moulding and base boards for our home. Right from the start, I felt very comfortable with Justin and loved his ideas. Justin was on time and worked hard while he was here. He did an excellent job and I'd hire him for future projects in my home. If you're picky about things being done right - then you'll be happy with Justin's work. It's obvious he pays close attention to detail. One really important thing about Justin (aside from doing a great job) is that he's trustworthy. I felt very safe having Justin in my home. I never worried about him being in my home even when I was in another part of the house. If you want someone who is hard working, trustworthy, and does a GREAT JOB, call Justin. I would - without hesitation - recommend him to friends and family (and I have!) read more

Justin and his team are amazing! We had them complete our kitchen remodel and couldn't be happier. Everyone was friendly and professional. Our refinished cabinets look beautiful (everyone thinks they are new cabinets--not refinished ones), as do the laminate floors. The team stayed on-track with pricing and time-frame and they were always dependable. Also worth mentioning... they were SO clean! When you're living in a home that is being remodeled, this is a big deal! I'd hire JS Construction again, without a doubt. read more

As I like to tell everyone, Best Contractor EVER! We could not be happier with the job Justin and his team have done on our whole house remodel. Our home is beautiful. Everyone who sees it is amazed by the transformation and impressed by Justin's attention to detail. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but told Justin I wanted pretty. He worked with us to figure out what pretty was and it is pretty. I would highly recommend Justin/JS Construction for any job, big or small. He may be booked out a ways, but it will be worth the wait for him to do your job. read more

From the get go, Justin was professional and knowledgeable. He was very prompt in responding back through texts and phone calls. We hired him and his crew to level our 2- tiered island into a flat island and had them install the quartz countertop and backsplash. It was a small job but he treated it like a big job and made sure that it was done within the time line we wanted. We are very happy with our kitchen. It's beautiful! read more

Just finished a couple of bathroom renovations with JS Construction and wanted to provide a quick review. Justin was a pleasure to work with from design to finish. No shortcuts, up front with suggestions and solutions, attention to detail and has pride in his workmanship. No second thoughts with this project and will definitely keep his card handy for future work. read more

I called Justin and asked if he could custom make us a TV stand and he didn't hesitate to take the job. The project took him 1 business day to finish and the quality work is top notch. I highly recommend Justin for any wood work projects. read more

JS Construction - Not the best photo but the quality of work is top notch. - General Contractors Near Me

Justin has done a few big jobs for me and could not be happier with the final product. I am very particular who I hire because I am borderline OCD with my attention to detail, cleanliness and everything having to be perfect. Justin is the only one I trust to do my projects because he exceeded all my expectations and has more pride in his work than anyone I have ever met and his attention to details is unmatched. The only negative is that he is so good at what he does he is booked months in advance but he is worth the wait! read more

We had Justin cut a "pass-thru" into an existing wall, between our kitchen and living room. Framing, sheetrock, and tile. VERY well done, punctual, attention to detail, clean. ALL first rate. Very happy with his work AND the guys that work for him (Justin, Justin, and Justin - go figure, LOL). My highest recommendations! read more

Justin is simply the best and is becoming my "go to guy" for anything I need done. I recently had him expand fridge space to accommodate today's larger refrigerators. This included cutting granite and trimming the existing custom cabinets. Few contractors had this expertise for a reasonable price, but Justin perfomed! His consistently high ratings here at Yelp is no fluke and what compelled me to see if they were true. I am sure glad I did and you will too! read more

This company is the epitome of a rip-off contractor. Not one thing that was contracted for was done with any skill. The other reviewers must be friends of the contractor or paid by the contractor. This company turned every part of the job into a disaster. They contracted to do a new granite countertop that needs to be replaced. They painted the inside of the house without any prep work and the thinnest one coat of paint they could apply. They got overspray everywhere and even on my garage door. They installed a slider with a screen door that did not fit and blamed the manufacturer. They also failed to provide the correct catch for the door and re- installed the alarm incorrectly. Beware Beware Beware . They promise everything and provide nothing. read more

Justin Sauceda of JS Construction is amazing! It is a privilege for us to get the opportunity to publicly rave about Justin through this site. Justin successfully remodeled our kitchen, 2nd bathroom, and master bathroom. We thought Justin's work was fantastic, and his ability to communicate clearly with us won us over immediately. Good communication with your contractor is VITAL, and Justin explained everything clearly and heard any concern from us with a welcoming attitude. He was dedicated to doing his best job for us and the results really showed. Our new bathrooms and kitchen are gorgeous! He's reliable and true to his word. We definitely recommend Justin to our families and friends. read more

hello, for those of you considering using Justin and his company I wanted to take a moment to talk to you about how wonderful our experience was and that I highly recommend JS Construction for any of your construction needs. My wife and I purchased a home in Livermore California. The home was a foreclosure property and required much repair. My wife and I decided exactly what the property needed at least to address the more comfort appropriate features we desired. As part of Our home purchase purchase we utilized the federal housing authority's 203K loan process which allowed us to finance the improvements to the property prior to move-in. During this process we consulted several contractors and placed the work up for bid. Our first bidder came to our property and it was clear right away that we were not impressed so we continued our search And asked our mortgage broker who they felt should bid on the job. JS construction was recommended highly by our mortgage broker, when Justin came on-site and assessed the work he was professional, polished and ready to answer questions as well as be very creative as we both explored the possibilities for our construction efforts. during the construction doesn't based many different challenges but overcame each with grace and understanding with the final goal of delivering a quality experience for both my wife and myself. I am surely impressed with this company as the product they created for me is the most important thing in my life next to of course my wife and that product is my home. - Lawrence Pingree - Author "The Manager's Guide to Becoming Great" read more

We hired Justin and his team last year to remove a slider from our family room and fill in the wall at our house. We did a great deal of research to find the right person and luckily my boyfriend found JS Construction here on Yelp. This team was great!! Justin was extremely personable and thorough with us through the entire process, checking in and keeping us updated. He was not only a great find from a construction standpoint, but he has a great eye for design and detail. The interior and exterior work was flawless to the point you cannot detect at all that there was ever that ugly oddly-placed slider there. His stucco team was incredible and perfectly matched the flair and style of the original stucco. They also set us for when we finally get a bigger TV and mount it on the wall by raising the outlets and running smurf tubing so we won't have hanging cables, and retextured the walls in the room, again to fit the look of the home. They even let me take the first swing at demo (I have to admit that was pretty awesome!) The family room is a 1970s addition to a 1940s house and they made it finally feel like it fit the character of the rest of the house. We are ecstatic with the results!!! We have spent the months since the work was completed recommending Justin and his team to everyone we know that mentions doing any type of construction on their home. And Justin will be the first one we call when we are ready for the next phase of remodel/restoration on our home. read more

I called Justin after reading reviews here on Yelp and we are glad we did. We originally had Justin in to give us an estimate on a complete bathroom remodel - he had great ideas and gave us a fair price. We ended up scaling back the project significantly and Justin was very accomodating. The work was very well done and bathroom ended up looking great. We would use him again in a heartbeat. read more

I recently contacted Justin to complete a stair project in my home. His knowledge and expertise of finish carpentry is incredible. He was able to listen to my ideas and expand and improve them to achieve a finish product that far exceeded my expectations. Just as important was that he was able to complete the job on schedule and for a far lesser price than competing bids (30% less!!!). Justin and his crew are honest and do not cut corners. He won't leave until you are completely satisfied. I plan on calling him back for future projects and highly recommend him to anyone that wants good work done for a good price from someone you can trust. read more
