No, he's not the cheapest, but 1) you get what you pay for, and 2) he gets it done ASAP--I called another company before just for a comparison quote, and they said it would be two weeks before they could do it--Five Star came in under two days! I would deduct a quarter star only because they forgot to mention they accidentally broke one of the outer window trims on a garage window --it was very brittle from facing the dry afternoon sun for 20 years, so I completely understand; just wish they had mentioned it. I added that quarter star back because upon arrival, Jerry the foreman pointed out that one of the front screens was busted from age/sun and offered to replace it for a great price--important when selling a house! My roof had a leak at the water heater vent pipe flashing. Mark inspected the area and recommended…read morethe application of sealer under the composite shingles. If that did not work, then he said that the flashing might need to be replaced. He quoted me a very reasonable cost. Unfortunately, the leak continued after the sealer was applied. He arranged for a workman to replace the flashing before the next big storm. There is no more leakage. I offered to send in an additional check for the follow up repair. He indicated that it was covered in the initial quote. As long as Nushake roofing is still in business, I will never use anyone else. Amazing response time, quality of work, at a more than fair price.
