I finally treated myself to Insomnia Cookies! YUM!! If you're looking for a sugar rush that's actually worth the hype, this is it. I went with a Classic Cookies and Cream Cookie as my base, with a double-scoop of ice-cream: Cookies 'N Dream and Mint Chocolate Ice Cream. Cookies 'N Dream: This is so much better than standard cookies and cream. It has a vanilla pudding-flavored base that is super rich and filled with even more chocolate chunk pieces. Mint Chocolate Ice Cream: This was the perfect "cool down" scoop. The mint is refreshing and helps cut through all the heavy chocolate and sugar so you can keep eating without getting overwhelmed. Don't order from Uber Eats. Placed my order and never received it. Uber Eats' protocol is to call the store for any questions about your order. Woman answered and kept me on hold for total of 45 min. At one point I hung up and called back because I thought she forgot about me. All she said was "I still need a sec. There are customers in the store". Horrible service, would give 0 stars if I could. read more

I can always count on fresh vegan cookies from this location. My cookies were so fresh that 3 days later they were still good. Thank heavens for vegan birthday cake. There is almost never a long line so the service was quick. And I will certainly come back again and ago. The store is always clean. read more

I had a craving for something sweet and decided to order cookies from Insomnia. I chose Snickerdoodle, Confetti, and Cookies & Scream. The cookies arrived warm and delicious. Snickerdoodle is usually my favorite, but Cookies & Scream is a new contender--gooey marshmallows in a cookie is always a win! The only issue was the delivery. The cookies were left on the front doorstep, which wasn't ideal since there are multiple condos in my building. Thankfully, I got the delivery photo right away and was able to retrieve them before anyone stepped on the box--it was placed right at the door, so it moved as soon as I opened the door. Next time, I'll pick up the cookies myself to avoid that, but overall, the quality of the cookies was great! read more

After eating a delicious cheesesteak from the real thing across the street, The Wife and I were in the mood for some delicious cookies as a desert. We've had Insomnia cookies from other locations on a couple of occasions and know all about them. This Towson location was tiny. But effective. We got snicker-doodles & chocolate chip & chocolate mint. Everything was good but nothing stood out. read more

I'd describe these cookies as overhyped and overpriced. I got chocolate peanut butter cup and pumpkin spice latte (seasonal). The cookies were dry and wayyyyyy too sweet for me. The service was quick though and friendly, but I just can't justify the price versus the quality. read more

Cookie Monster would be elated to know he can get cookies at odd hours of the night! Service is good and the cookies are always fresh. I hope the company expands to other areas of the state to spread the sweetness! Chocolate chip is the pick of choice.. always! However they have other flavors that you'll enjoy. The cookies are rather large so you'll be able to share a cookie or enjoy it solo. Don't forget the ice cream sandwiches! Check it out for yourself! You won't regret it. read more

Now honestly, there have been some order hiccups in the past that have steered us away from ordering like usual. But, when the craving calls, you like to give just one more chance. I'm happy that my last delivery was successful! We really like the cookies and was happy the delivery arrived timely and in great condition. I recently tried the double chocolate chunk cookie and must admit it's surprisingly my fave insomnia cookie now. My fiancé loves the snickerdoodle and we both like the chocolate chunk. So we ordered a 6 pack 2 of each flavor. The cookies were consistent in size and thoroughly baked! A nice treat for movie night. read more

I hate to do this, but I'm going to have to rate this location a 1 star. The good, the snickerdoodle cookies that I got smelled and tasted good, but it does help the rating. The bad!!! I visited this location today around 5p and I almost walked past because they looked closed, and when I walked in, I saw why because the lights were off and didn't look welcoming. The employee looked like he was relaxing, and I understand it's a weekday (Monday), and it's slow. There were no cookies on display, which is a bummer, especially at a *bakery-ish* shop. I wanted a blondie, and to my shock, they didn't have ANY, not a brownie, not a mini......WHAT!!!!!!! This was my first and sadly, my last visit to this location and to top it off nearly $17 for 6 cookies.....They're happy the cookies were for a coworker that's starting a new job because I've gotten similar cookies for less. This is my first time having these cookies. My daughter raved about them, so I checked the website, and they looked delicious. So, I got 1/2 dozen cookies chocolate, chunk, and two oatmeal raisin. My daughter picked them up, and when I saw them, the pictures matched what I ordered good so far, I thought. Later that day, I tried one and boy the cookie was moist and tasted better than I had hoped but 10 minutes after eating it, my stomach started cramping, and I mean bad cramps. I spent the night in the bathroom! I've know it was the cookies because that was the only thing that reappeared! Also, I was completely fine before that! It's Sunday and I'm still cramping, and if it were not for COVID, I would have already gone to the ER! I am in pain, and the remainder of my order is going into the trash, but I will keep one and have the health department check it out because not only am I suffering my son and his girlfriend, who got different cookies, also having the same symptoms! read more

Horrendous!!! Paid over $17 for 6 cookies. Only one girl working Saturday afternoon with a line out the door. They only had 4 types of cookies available and they are not what we would have chosen. Ended up getting the last 3 M&M and Sugar. Watched a heated argument between the girl at the counter and a woman who was trying to pick up a decorated birthday cookie. Apparently they had no frosting, so this woman had to show up to a birthday party with a plain cookie. The clerk argued with her that she had tried to call several times. Why would you argue with the customer about something like that? How can you run out of frosting? Why did everyone in the store have to hear about this? This location needs to be closed. It obviously doesn't have the resources to function. The cookies were actually tasty, but not worth everything else. read more

Definitely the best place in Towson is you are craving a late night, sweet snack. I live in Cockeysville, so they don't deliver, but there is street parking and a garage nearby if you need to figure out how to get your car to insomnia. All the cookies come out warm and fresh, which is the best part. Also the icecream isn't half bad, but definitely grocery store quality. The only setback of this place is pricing- it's pretty pricey, so if you can make your own cookies to save money, do that. read more

Location was small, about 4 people were the max number that could fit comfortably. The had a sign stating they were out of like a 7 different cookies so we got some snickerdoodles they were good, nothing to write home about. I'll try the other locations out and see if they're all the same. read more

I was having a craving for some milk and cookies. *In my Bernie Mack voice* I've only been to Insomnia Cookies on maybe two occasions and that was the location in Fells Point. At that location I ordered several types of cookies and they were all warm and delicious. When I arrived at the Towson location I was expecting the same and I was sadly mistaken. I ordered 6 cookies and all of them were cold. The customer service was meh. Not sure if I will be coming back. A combination of inconvenient parking, mediocre customer service, and cold cookies isn't something I look forward to. read more

I could give zero star. Extremely unsanitary. I went at night time. The guy that made my ice cream cookie didn't wear any gloves and mixed my ice cream and cookie with his bare hands. His whole thumb was dipped into the ice cream. Super gross. Never coming back here again. I don't want to eat ice cream and cookie with some strangers fingers dipped in them. Management I hope you see this and check your surveillance camera at night time. Your staff didn't wear face covering mask or gloves. Both guys working there that night had their masks around their neck instead of covering their face. They were blasting rap music super loud too. I don't recommend anyone coming here read more

I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews. I recently bought my husband a dozen cookies (for Valentine's Day to be exact). I had a great experience. I made the order online and scheduled it for Valentine's Day. The order went to his office in a ti ley manner and the cookies were really good (he saved me one to try). The ordering process was good (a bit confusing at first). It seemed just a tad expensive, but overall it was a good experience. I didn't visit the site, so can't comment on customer service at the place. It was also nice that they had vegan cookies read more

I am so sad that I am located right outside of Insomnia Cookie's delivery range but these cookies are worth the drive to pick up! I usually walk in and order rather than ordering online for pick up. Most times I get lucky with the cookies coming right out of the oven. The cookie'wich is my favorite thing to order, specifically with the M&M and deluxe chocolate cookies. These cookies are on the pricier side but if you sign up for their mailing list, you will find that they send out offers often! read more

Good warm cookies in boxes of 12 will always make for a good day. That was my experience at insomnia cookies. This is a chain location so it's not unique, just good. They make the cookies fresh and you can taste it with your first bite into a cookie. I enjoyed the chocolate chunk and oatmeal raisin varieties, but there are plenty of options whether you want a traditional or funky experience. The price is a bit high but the freshness and cookie size will cause you to forget about your wallet temporarily. read more

Extremely upset with my "pint of ice cream" (what I ordered) because it is clearly a bowl filled to the top with a cups with of ice cream. Also not to mention, they gave me cookies I did not order because they were out of the ones I did order. I ordered this through insomnia so I think there should be an option to choose which cookies I would prefer if they are out of the ones I ordered (or do not feel like making more) instead of giving me random cookies. anyways at least it tasted somewhat good read more

I get it. If you're a college student with no car, and you're studying at 1:00 a.m. and really need some comfort food to get you through the night, fine. BUT, if you have transportation, just go to the grocery store and get some baked cookies from their bakery, and a pint of Ben & Jerry's. Seriously. The cookies were tasty, but there's nothing special about the ice cream here at all. Also, we ordered 2 pints of ice cream. Typically, pints of ice cream are packed, not scooped. Can't go wrong with warm, gooey cookies! Insomnia opened yesterday in Towson center. They open early to wicked late. Hungry for a snack at an hour of the day can be remedied by Insomnia. My daughter is a student at a nearby college and we were in town for graduation. We've been here a few times over the past 4 years. I've enjoyed the cookies. We usually get the basics like chocolate chunk, snickerdoodle and sugar. But, the customer service is usually just mediocre. Tonight it was just bad. The guy helping the cashier looked irritated when I added more cookies to my order. There was no one else in the store. It was like I was inconveniencing them. He was yawning. Dude, you work at a place called Insomnia Cookies, wake up. When I asked for my receipt, he looked even more put out. Skip the cookies and go get ice cream at The Charmery. "Good cookies, bad service!" The only reason why I gave this location 2 stars is because of the cookies and that sad! After waiting over 20 mins in a freezing cold line, due to covid stipulations, this location only permits one person at a time in the store. However, I truly believe that if the cashier would have actually did her job people outside would have not had to suffer for over 20 mins in the cold. It was only 3 people ahead of me! I went on Sunday 11/22 around 10pm and the young lady that helped me when I got inside finally, really frustrated me because I had no choose but to over hear her in there back of the store carrying out a whole unprofessional conversation with her baking co worker. For them to not really have many of the cookies ! & I think I know why. Little working and a lot of side conversations when people got better things to do than want to wait almost 30 mins for some warm cookies. Absolute terrible service employees simply dont want to do nothing but sit and play around and only fulfill online orders. Claim instore that "THEY DONT HAVE NOTHING" but are open.... but my friend had a online order and got his cookies.. All and all dont visit this location employees just want to sit around and get paid hourly for nothing and take back to back break in and out the store on shift. read more

We recently attended new student orientation at Towson University. After a long day of programming, we stopped by the Union for the last few speakers. During a break, we were told to help ourselves to coffee and cookies. The cookies were some of the best my wife and I have had. We've had a lot of cookies. Oatmeal raisin and peanut butter chip. Terrible service. Ordered kids birthday cookie cake. The order said it was ready to only arrive and the store was closed. We drove there and the doors were locked and lights off. Calling the store only gets a national number with no way to directly contact the store. Canceled the order on the phone without even anyone saying sorry. Will never go back. If I could give negative stars I would. read more

There were only 2 people working, so there were a bunch of people waiting for their orders and service was slow. One person was at the cashier, the other was packing doughnuts, making breakfast sandwiches, and the coffees. We waited 5 minutes in line and then another 10-15 minutes for them to pack our 4 donuts. I wanted to get a sandwich but figured the wait was too long. On to the donuts - I liked the blueberry basil and blackberry lime donuts. The blueberry basil flavor wasn't super strong but it was well balanced. The blackberry lime was my favorite - sweet and a little tart. The crobar (croissant-donut) texture was awesome but I did not rally taste the cranberry or orange advertised. The buttercream frosting on top was sickeningly sweet so ended up scraping that off...finally the coffee donut. Not my favorite but not bad - it tasted like instant coffee and was kinda punchy coffee flavor, bitter. But I liked that the bitter offset the sweet. Overall, it's a fun place for a gourmet donut but be sure to not get here when it's too busy and to come early - they sell out of fun flavors fast!
