Delicious flavors, light and creamy, amazing customer service, and consistent greatness makes for a 5-star experience with Freakin Sweet Jars! They currently sell out of Bmore Made with Pride's shared kitchen, and are offered at some retail stores around town. The owner is a sweetheart, and works her butt off to make sure you're accommodated. I've tried the sweet potato cheesecake, strawberry crunch cheesecake, banana pudding, caramel cheesecake, strawberry shortcake, and caramel brownie cheesecake. My favorites so far are the caramel cheesecake and caramel brownie cheesecake. I can't wait to try some of her other flavors!! But they have all been light, creamy, and flavorful. The jars are a great size - you don't feel too gluttonous if you polish off the whole thing, but also a great size to share multiple jars with a few others and get to try more flavors! We loved our dessert jars! They are delicious and made with so much love! The jars have layers of cheesecake, whipped cream, and a variety of other toppings. My favorite was the blueberry cheesecake. It had a layer of blueberry filling like you'd find in a pie... divine! My partner's favorite was the Heath Bar jar with a graham cracker crust, drizzled with caramel and topped with Heath Bars - YUM! And of course a favorite is the Strawberry crunch - with a homemade strawberry crumble! This is a Black owned business and the owners Renate and Jaheel are very welcoming and extremely caring about all of their work!! Okay fast forward one week! Im back with feedback. Initially I gave four stars because I thought there wasn't enough information to tell the story of this delicious business. To my error I hadnt yet gone to their website! There is a full back story and description of all of their wonderful offerings in addition to the full range of services they provide. Loved the banana pudding!! I'm a foodie watching my calories, if I don't like something, I'm not wasting calories on it. I didn't mind wasting calories on this. It tasted freshly made, the nilla wafers we're still crunchy. Loved the customer service too. Just wish I didn't live so far away, although that probably is a good thing, or I'd over indulge:) read more

I've been to the mall at least 5 times in the last few months just to get one of these jars. Not a huge fan of the cheesecake ones but that's just personal preference. My top 3 are Key lime, strawberry shortcake and banana pudding. Every time my sister and I go there the person at the stand is so friendly. read more

Over priced and waste of calories! Made my list of worst desserts! I would suggest you not waste you time looking for the stand and waste money on it. I tried the key lime jar and the so called key lime filling was tasteless fluff. It was oddly sweet and the texture made it nasty! read more

I accidentally found this place when I was on Instagram looking for a furniture store in Arundel Mills Mall. When I saw that it was a black owned business, I definitely wanted to give them a try. I looked at all the good desserts on Instagram and decided to go check them out. There was a young guy at the stand that checked me out. He was very inviting and friendly. I purchased the banana pudding and strawberry shortcake jars! And they did not disappoint! I highly recommend them. read more

Pretty dang good. Pros: great customer service, good (if not amazing) desserts, everything comes in a real mason jar that you can wash out and re-use if so inclined. Cons: boutique dessert prices for pretty make-at-home processed/packaged/grocery store type desserts. For example, the Oreo cheesecake jar was loaded with what was almost certainly Hershey's chocolate syrup or something similar. For higher end dessert prices, I'd expect a homemade chocolate sauce or ganache. That's just one of several examples I encountered. But everything was fresh and tasty. read more

Should have taken a pic of my banana pudding but I smashed!! It was delicious! It wasn't too sweet. The only complaint I have is I went for the Reese's cheesecake originally and it was sold out! Also, in between my bites of banana pudding was a thick portion of whip cream. I would have rather had a jar full of banana pudding and whip cream on the top, a little less!! Especially for the price! Overall worth the trip! They're adjacent from the Starbucks by the way!! read more

Oh, my sweet goodness. This place is where I decided to get the hubby his Father's Day treat, and boy, was it worth it. He's southern and I'm a Yankee as they called me, so I got him the banana puddin' 8 oz jar. STILL WARM when they handed it to me. With a spoon. It's a miracle it made it home. Also tried strawberry shortcake and key lime pie. You can't go wrong here. Try the key lime. Please. I'm going back next weekend. Yum. read more

My first time in was after calling to see if they had gift cards, went without an answer . So I went there and nope. Waisted my time going there.

It was a community dinner party with Chef Char. You had a choice of a ticket with or without wine pairing. Me and my friend chose the ticket with wine pairing. The ticket included two glasses of wine. The menu was not printed online so we went in kinda blind on what was served. The first course was a roasted vegetable dish which consisted of broccoli, fingerling potatoes and pears with a Greek yogurt sauce. The second course was chicken thighs with risotto in a tomato sauce and the third course was a granola strudel with pears. There was also an arugula salad with grapefruit segments and parmesan cheese. I can be brutally honest, none of the courses were seasoned well. The first course was cold, the vegetables were wilted and did not mesh well. Was not expecting pears to be with my roasted vegetables. The second course was underwhelming as well. The food did not have any flavor and the dessert was not my favorite at all. I only ate the fruit out of the dessert. The chef did come out and let us know what each course was, however I felt that she really wasn't too personable with the guests. A few of the guests at the table were her friends so she only engaged with them, and of course they hyped her up, however the food was bland and underwhelming and the majority of the guests including myself did not finish their plates. If there is another community dinner, I hope it will be with a different chef in mind As I stated before my review is of the event, not the business as a whole.
