The best bread I ever had in my life ! It smells like freshly baked bread from outside. You must try it .

This Kosher bakery is located on Reisterstown Road in a shopping center next to La Union Market,…read moreacross road from Giant grocery. No handicapped parking in front but the store is accessible without stairs. Service is friendly, the coffee is hot, and the stocked bread is being made fresh daily. There are no spots to eat inside. Several cases display cakes, mousse, breads, cookies, muffins and danish, and there is a separate gluten free fridge (although I did not ask about their cross contamination practices). There was rugelach and hamantaschen of many different varieties. I did see a small number of products labeled sugar free, but it's unclear if that was picked over by the time I arrived (Sunday at 8am). My daughter loves their chocolate chip muffins and they've been fresh each time we've tried them. My husband loves their eclairs!

They had delightful music playing to provide a relaxing atmosphere. While my dad took a seat I went over to the deli counter to place our order. After that I had to go over to the cash register to render payment. I ordered a protein platter that came with eggs, two meats, and a cup of fruits my father ordered a short stack of three pancakes and a side of bacon. We both ordered the Mimosa special beverage for $5.00 each. The food came out quickly. The staff were so nice. I ended up spilling one of the mimosas . The staff was understanding and cleaned it up quickly. For was delicious and filling. We were both able to finish our meals without any leftovers. Definitely will return.

Good food but when you order a sandwich a certain way, that's the way it should come out. The order…read morewas placed for a sandwich without mayo on a Kaiser roll. I confirmed it when ordering and it was confirmed by the cashier when paying. But the kitchen screwed up. They either didn't read or ignored it. Yes the shrimp salad had mayonnaise but the sandwich didn't need more mayo than what was in the shrimp salad itself. This was a carryout order and I didn't think I would need to check the sandwich before leaving, but next time I will have to. I didn't expect to have to modify my sandwich by removing the messed up sandwich. Kitchen staff, do better by reading and making sure what is listed on the order is correct. The sandwich, once rid of mayo was very good and flavorful. The crab cake, shrimp salad, bacon and tomato were delicious. The crab soup I had also was good, flavorful with minimal spice. The food was good, however the kitchen staff needs to do better.

Finding the restaurant itself was easy, but parking was another story -- the one‑way street and…read moresmall lot made it a challenge. When we walked in, the cashier immediately asked whether we were dining in or taking out. We chose to dine in. We ordered the roast beef sandwich and the pastrami sandwich, along with potato pancakes. They brought out a full assortment of pickles and pickled vegetables. Unfortunately, they only offer one diet option: Dr Pepper Zero, no other diet sodas from the fountain or in bottles. The potato pancakes were a disappointment -- mostly batter with very little shredded potato. The pickled vegetables also lacked flavor and didn't really taste pickled. Our table wasn't cleared at any point during the meal, and the waiter stood nearby waiting for us to finish, which felt a bit uncomfortable. The desserts looked amazing, but we were too full to try them. We also couldn't take anything to go since we had plans for the rest of the day and didn't want it sitting in the car. Next time, we'll come back specifically to try the desserts.

However, as you know it slowly deteriorated until I stopped patronizing it. I was initially happy to see it changed ownership. Reading the reviews however, it seems it is continuing to be SUBPAR! The Management apologies are scripted(cut & paste) for goodness sakes!! I think I'll pass! Fortunately, when I go back home periodically, I have several solid authentic options.
