Been here many times and each time I'm more and more impressed. Fabulous drink menu for those who aren't beer lovers and plenty of regular and rotating beers for those who are. Their menu has also gotten more sophisticated and has plenty to offer whether you want a light snack or a full meal. My husband had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and I had the Brussel sprouts with pork belly and pickled onions in a sweet chili sauce. Both were awesome and the service was great. Their beer is always incredible whether you like heavy IPAs or lighter beer. If you haven't been here, I highly recommend checking it out. "Wow", may seem cliche but what else can I really say for a place that checks off all these boxes: 1) Atmosphere - great vibes and aesthetics 2) Food - everything was very tasty and great portion size. Fantastic Cobb salad and awesome Burger. Plus, if you like crispy fries, go for the Kettle Chips, as they are awesome!!! 3) BEER - tried a flight and loved every single one! Plus, they have the best Red Ale I've ever had. Then a New England Hazy IPA that can compete with most anything I've had. Bottom line: come and see, you won't be disappointed! read more

This was an amazing find! The entire town was so great! It looked like a scene from a hallmark movie. Everyone was so nice and helpful! This is an adorable brewery with a great selection of beers. We sat at the bar. I ordered a flight. He ordered a single beer. They had the terrific seltzer that I ordered mostly because I loved the name of it "That's so Fetch"!! Hahah. The 90s nostalgia! We decided to start out tagabrew collection back up and we each got a new one. Its been about three years since we collected those. Seems like a good time to start up again. Inside The Five / Sylvania would be one of my most frequented establishments ... if I lived in Sylvania (I live in Columbus, OH). The daytime, lunch, atmosphere is really great. High windows facing the downtown Sylvania walk-about is super. Smallish outdoor dining but entirely sufficient. You'll always shoot for dining in the upper area vs. the lower sort-of backroom area. Inside The Five benefits by having additional space for serving patrons. The jalapeno cheese balls are good (huge) but for my liking? More heat. The Mushroom & Swiss burger is outstanding! Portobello mushrooms are huge and sauteed before hitting the meat and the swiss cheesy sauce. Friend enjoyed a breaded chicken breast sandwich which he says was great, too. In 2023, today's rates took the check up to $45 for two people (one appetizers), no liquor. That's eating out. I recommend Inside The Five - Sylvania. read more

My wife and I stopped for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Overall, the experience was outstanding. Service: Despite being fairly busy, we were seated quickly. Our subsequent service was great. Our server (Julianna) was quick, attentive, and just all around pleasant. She was probably the best server we have experienced in a long time. 5/5 Beer: We tried 2 flights, 8 beers in total. All the beers were good; some were great. There was a solid variety of options as well. 4.5/5 Food: I got a Nashville chicken sandwich and my wife had the chicken and waffles sandwich. Service was the worst I have ever had!! You weren't allowed to use the upstairs bathroom because there was a private party smh! So we sat downstairs at the only table that was open and the waitress said we couldn't sit there that if we wanted a drink we had to go up to the bar. It was packed and there was nowhere to sit but she insisted that we had to get up from the table. I will never ever go in this place again horrible service. Looking for great craft beer we'll look no further. Inside the Five has some of the best craft beer I've had since moving to Sylvania. I'm a big October fest fall beer fan so those are my favorites but I'm not afraid to try a lot of the seasonal beers either. Parking can be tricky but it's worth the trick. read more

Been here twice for food, 1st time was just for appetizers, the pretzels were great. This time, I ordered the chicken strips. Bad idea. Tater tots came out cold, so I asked for new ones. Waitresses response was, I'll see what I can do.... she did bring out new ones that were hot, and after 10 mins of sitting they were still warmer than the original ones brought out. Chechen tenders, not quite what I would call what came out on my plate. I had maybe 1.5 tenders. The other pieces, were thin, flat pieces of chicken that were horribly overcooked. I loved the location. Lots to do I'm the area. We stopped by for the food trucks and live music. The wait staff helped us tremendously with gluten free options but sadly they just don't have many. I decided not to eat their due to the uncertainty of options & cross contamination. But the food trucks and live music next door were great. I'm sure the foods good but I will not eat here due to the extremely limited gluten free menu. The waitstaff wasn't very knowledgeable in gluten free items, which made me very uncomfortable. read more

When the kids ask to go back, it is a win win for me. They have some great beers on tap, some unique bites, and everything was delicious when we went. I love that it is a local brewery--you don't have a lot of these around the area, so I like that. It is also located in cute downtown Sylvania, so you can walk around the town while you wait. We have been here a few times in the last year, and I am not the easiest to please with food, so, I in my opinion, this is a great place to check out. I was pleased every time we went. I'm not sure what happened in the past here, but my experience was 5 stars all the way. Our server was absolutely fantastic, the prices were reasonable, and the vibe was friendly and fun. I got the chicken and waffles sandwich, and I'm here to tell you that it was the absolute bomb. Who knew cheese on chicken and waffles was a thing? Not this guy. I also subbed in a salad for my side and it was the perfect complement. The other great part of my experience was the brew. We enjoyed tasters of all kinds, and this is one of the few breweries I visited with delicious IPAs. My favorite was the Devil Wears Hoodies, but the other hoppy brews were also delicious. Came here for brunch. It was very busy and was about a 25 min wait for two, which was fine. Louder vibe in here which I enjoyed, and it's a very large place. Ordered the chicken sandwich and it underwhelmed a bit, as it was very spicy. It did warn of that, so if you like spicy chicken you'll love it read more

We always look for new breweries and lucked into this spot. The aesthetic & vibe of the space are very cool. All of the staff we came in contact with were great. We ordered beer samples and were quite impressed with them having 19 on tap. I tried the seasonal beers & was intrigued by the addition of jalapeño to traditional everything we had was really tasty. The menu was diverse and accommodated many types of dietary needs. We had lunch and shared the bacon jalapeño balls. They had a great flavor and were crispy but melty on the inside. My husband got the smash burger & chips. He couldn't stop eating those house made chips. I got the Greek mushroom burger. It was very flavorful and somewhat unique on a brewery menu. My first time here was for their New Year's Eve dinner and it was amazing. It was a five course meal that included drink pairings. The service was very good, especially for the staff having to serve everyone each course at the same time. All of the food was unique, had great flavor, and went great with their beer. The restaurant itself is pretty modern and the views of Main Street our the windows, especially during the holidays was pretty cool. Lastly, huge shout out to the staff. My boyfriend and I LOVE this place. We keep bringing new people to try it and we all end up returning! The food is amazing and the staff is always accommodating and friendly. I know it sounds childish, but the chicken tenders are the best thing there. They're crispy and hot and they give you good portions. We always end up ordering them! The burger O'line / D'line a burger with beef and a bacon grind , there was no taste of bacon .... I'm glad to be the first to review this new Brewery. I tried many different beers and found them to be well made. The quality and taste is better than most Brewpubs I've been to. ALL the IPA's were excellent and the wife enjoyed her Stouts and Porters. She had a soup and salad that was very good and I thoroughly enjoyed the Kale and Quinoa salad. Food - okay, beverages - good. Service was lousy on December 27. Server was rude and unresponsive. There were 6 of us for lunch and our initial beverage order took about 15 minutes to arrive. The server seemed very put off when we requested to order lunch. Our second beverage order never came even though we ordered it when we put our lunch order in. We were ignored twice when trying to call our server over to cancel the second beverage order. I had to walk up to the bar to get her attention. To top it off, the initial check had an overcharge which was corrected. Then, when checking my credit card account, I was charged twice- two different amounts. After going to Inside the Five today to clear this up, I was offered a gift card instead of a credit to my charge card, which I declined. I will add, though, that today when I went in to have this situation corrected (12/30), the bartender was very engaging and helpful. read more
