He mentioned their two most popular brunch drinks were the Espresso Martini & Benton's Old Fashioned. We ordered both and WOW! Such a balanced cocktail, nice presentation, and great flavors. This bar has been here probably as long as I've been in Toledo and that's over 15 years. When you walk in you see this beautiful bar made out of wood. I don't know who made it but it is gorgeous. They have a nice selection of alcohol for cocktails and Sutter Home type wine. Even a few craft beers for me. They have special events like jazz on Thursday for free with free appetizers and host comedy events on occasion. Only problem is you have to search it out. They don't do a great job of advertising. Now this place has a reputation of being a primarily black bar but I have seen folks of all ethnicities here and they are welcome. The bartenders are semi-friendly depending who you get. The food is pulled from the Distillery menu so it's great bar food. The atmosphere is a nerd basement with at least 10 pinball machines, board games and active puzzles.
