Go to their website and simply click away on you preferences. It's really easy and worth the expended effort. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We arrived and were quickly seated. Water was brought to the table, but without ice. I asked for ice and pretty quickly received some. I would suggest always serving ice water! Warm tap water isn't very palatable to most folks. First impressions of the dining room... So, it's a fairly small room without carpet. No tablecloths or individual table lamps (this doesn't bother me, but some may find this type of dining without such refinements unacceptable). I believe in keeping costs down. Take the savings and use them for buying better ingredients. Oh, a plate of bread with an absolutely delicious compound butter was served when the water was served (a little amuse-bouche). The butter was a lemon, garlic, basil combination that was outstanding!!! Everyone loved it. We split a bottle of wine (no cocktails, sorry). That was fine. They have a nice, simple wine and beer menu. We also ordered Appetizers. If you try any of the apps, try the bang bang shrimp! Better than anything you'll get at the Japanese Steakhouse. Seriously, next time I go back, I'll probably order this for my entrée along with the Caesar salad, and more of that delicious bread! Our other app was the calamari. It was served with marinara, and perfectly cooked. Both great appetizer choices. For our entrées... I ordered the halibut, and what an amazing job chef Marcel did with it! It was sauteed with some small diced vegetables and capers, served over polenta. Maybe a bit too done, but that's just me. I like my fish to be more on the rare side. I'm not faulting anyone for this because I never specified. It was still a great, creative and delicious meal. Two of my dining partners ordered the chicken paillard. Unfortunately, they said these were overcooked and too dry to really enjoy. They both looked delicious though. Another person ordered the salmon and said it was delicious. Our 5th person ordered the mixed green salad with duck. So this was something that really intrigued me as I love duck, and rarely see it. The salad greens/bean sprouts were very fresh, really nice. The duck was sliced very nicely, perfectly cooked, but cold. The temperature of the duck is intentional. I think it would be a better dish if served warm, but that's just me. It also lacked flavor. A nice Asian soy based dressing would have been perfect with this. Soy sauce, rice vinegar, scallions, garlic, ginger, sesame oil... Anyway, we ended with a shared piece of carrot cake and coffee. The carrot cake was out of this world, and it has to be good for you since it's made out of a vegetable. The coffee is french press and should have steeped longer, but we all love strong coffee. We'll definitely go back! Nice, hidden little spot with some great food and staff. Not too expensive, clean and an easy destination.

I realized however that I didn't realize the challenges that elderly/disabled people face when dining out. I had taken my mom to her cardiologist and he suggested that I take my mom out for a late lunch- which I enthusiastically embraced. Upon arriving at My Way Bistro, we were able to park in a handicapped parking spot with a slope to the sidewalk, which was helpful to my mom, who relies upon a walker for mobility. Upon arriving inside the restaurant, we were given our choice of booths or tables. I never realized before that the tables and booths are very high for someone with limited ability to lift their arms. There were no other options that we saw and my mom did her best to settle into a booth that I found comfortable but the table was clearly too high for my mom. She was a great sport however and made do with the high tabled booth. My mom ordered a lamb gyro with fries and I ordered my usual Georgia Reuben with fries. My mom was very pleased with her gyro. It had lots of vegetables and meat, and she said the tszazicki (sp?) sauce was delicious. She also enjoyed the fries. I loved my Georgia Reuben because the cole slaw has a kick of black pepper and other ingredients that make it taste amazing. The homemade Thousand Island dressing was soooo delicious! I was a little disappointed in the fries because they were fried more than I prefer but were still good. Best of all, we both took home leftovers! Seriously, the plates couldn't adequately support the generous portions of food with heaping amounts of fries- and I say that as a good thing! The ambiance is that of an upscale sports bar, but was pretty quiet when we were there, even though screens were turned on. Our server was very responsive and efficient. Overall a great experience and I definitely recommend checking out My Way Bistro for amazing sandwiches (also offer salads that I haven't yet tried) that are levels up from typical bar food.

There was a large group of people on our side of the restaurant that seemed to know one another. They were rather boisterous and seemed to have consumed a fair amount of alcohol. Prior to her bumper-pool walking style on the way out, as she was seated, she hoisted up her leg and placed her heel on the man's shoulder she was with. Mercy! Alcohol can cause strange events to happen. We both ordered the Blackened Salmon Quinoa Salad with the Walnut Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing. Salad cost $18. It is located within an upscale outdoor shopping mall and has a "new" and clean feel to it. My one initial observation was that neither the booths nor tables had cushioned seating. For those who have ortho issues, you understand! However, the bar stool chairs are cushioned, so that's where I chose to sit. The bartender/server was very personable. She honestly provided answers and to my questions about the menu. I ordered the marinated chicken with mushrooms and Swiss Cheese, plus a side of potato wedges. The kitchen wasn't super fast but wasn't an issue for me. My sandwich came with lettuce and tomatoes plus I ordered a side of ranch instead of mayonnaise. One of the tomato slices was very unripe and shouldn't have been served in my opinion. I also thought my server should have noticed before serving it. When I mentioned it to her, she agreed that it should have been sliced off and not served, but there it was. Otherwise, my sandwich was delicious! It was juicy with lots of Swiss Cheese and the Ranch dressing was delicious. As for the potato wedges, they were greasy and I only ate one wedge. My server didn't inquire (which I think she should have) but I also wasn't in the mood to complain. This Sylvania location was far better than the location I had last visited with my book club in Holland, Ohio. I would recommend it! There appeared to be a lot of regulars at the bar and the bartender greeted them by name, which was cool!

I was here for a business lunch, so I wasn't as obnoxious as I otherwise would be in taking pictures. One of my colleagues and I ordered chicken sandwiches- a crispy and a grilled sandwich. Both came with fries. My personal preference is for thicker fries and the fries here were definitely thin. If you prefer thin fries, you would be happy. My grilled chicken was definitely on the far blackened/grilled side- which is more charred than my preference. Another colleague who ordered a grilled chicken salad commented that the chicken was more blackened than he had anticipated. Another colleague ordered the chopped salad and appeared to be happy with his choice. If I ever return to this restaurant, I would definitely opt for a salad, as I had salad envy of the two that ordered salads. Our service here was very efficient without making a huge impression. Absolutely nothing wrong and nothing that stood out except that our orders were accurate and she checked in with us as appropriate. No complaints with service. I left without finishing my lunch entree' and chose not to take home leftovers, as I knew I wouldn't want to eat it. Again, just personal preference re the grilled chicken and fries. I felt that the value versus cost was on the high side. The sandwich was roughly $16.00 (including tax) with water as a beverage. While the company and ambiance were enjoyable, it felt like an expensive lunch as far as my sandwich. I've posted the menu from the restaurant's website below. I didn't compare the prices online vs in person as many restaurants have raised prices these days. I would go back but wouldn't make a point of it for the food.
