My recent lunch experience at Inkas was nothing short of delightful, featuring a delectable array of Peruvian dishes that left my taste buds in awe. Here's a breakdown of the items I ordered along with some additional notes: 1. **Ceviche - 5/5** The Ceviche at Inkas deserves a perfect rating. Fresh, tangy, and bursting with vibrant flavors, each bite was a delightful taste of the sea. The combination of marinated fish, citrusy notes, and the right amount of spice made it an exceptional start to the meal. 2. **Fried Calamari - 4/5** The Fried Calamari was a crispy and flavorful treat, though it fell just shy of perfection. The calamari was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying dipping sauce added an extra layer of flavor. A solid choice, but the competition on this menu is tough. 3. **Chicken Empanadas - 5/5** The Chicken Empanadas were a true highlight. The flaky, golden-brown crust gave way to a savory and well-seasoned chicken filling. Each bite was a perfect balance of textures and flavors, making it a standout choice. 4. **Lomo Saltado - 5/5** The Lomo Saltado was a triumph of Peruvian cuisine. The beef was tender, and the stir-fry technique preserved the freshness of the vegetables. The marriage of savory flavors with a hint of smokiness made this dish an absolute winner. Additional Notes: - Inkas boasts a small dining area, creating an intimate and cozy atmosphere. It's perfect for a lunch outing with colleagues, providing a friendly and communal setting. - The service at Inkas was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. - A special mention goes to the green sauce served with the dishes. This magical condiment elevated every bite, adding a burst of flavor that complemented the dishes perfectly. read more

This is for Sandy Minichnk, no offense but you sound cheap & you have no patience. I go to INKAS about three to four times a week, lunch it's their busiest time. The girls are always nice & on top of things and the food it's amazing & well priced for the high quality of food you get. No wonder this place it's always busy even in this tough economy. As soon as you walk into the restaurant it says no more than two credit cards per table during lunch please on the counter in big black letters. You also said got there before you or something to that effect. Most likely there were many orders before yours when you got there. Ten minutes it's not enough time for you to start complaining, It sounds like you were having a bad day that day who knows and you are taking it on the girls at Inkas. Or maybe are just a negative person and like to write bad reviews or have something bad to say about every place you visit as stated on most of your reviews. read more

110% RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I honestly can't say enough good things about this place! Every time I come here, I'm welcomed with a smile and such a warm, friendly atmosphere. The food is absolutely amazing, full of flavor, and the portions are generous! A special shoutout to my server, Carlianna! She is so sweet, attentive, and always makes sure everything is perfect. She even remembers my order! That personal touch makes every visit even more special. I love bringing my family and friends here to enjoy delicious Peruvian food. It's such a cute little spot, perfect for a date night, a family dinner, or a small gathering. If you're looking for delicious Peruvian food, great portions, and excellent service, you have to give this place a try! I'll definitely keep coming back. read more

The food is super good specially the green rice I love it, everything here is good and I would give them 5 stars but the only thing is that if you go during lunch time weekdays it will take forever to get your food, we wait for 45 min to get our food and I am glad it was good so that makes it a little bit better, otherwise service is good and waiters are good too. I will definitely go there again and keep trying more and more dishes. A little wait for a great dinner is no problem here. I think the prices are fair for what you get. And I also will turn my 4 into 5 in my next visit for sure. If you love good Peruvian food and you're in the area I had they recommend this place. The owner and her daughter still run the show here. read more

Yum Yum Yum. I love this place!!! Just found it now that is stared working in Irvine. Everyone I have run into has told me about this place. So I had to come. They were so right. It's got the cutest out door seating area. My coworkers and I came in and sat at a table for 6 outside. The staff was so nice and friendly. They seemed to really know my coworkers. They had a full conversation about my coworker's son's race, which I thought was so cute. We all shared dishes. I got the spinach basil pasta with Chicken and I tried the seafood paella and the steak empanadas along with a steak and fries dish that just blew me away. Their flavors are amazing. I will be coming every chance I get. read more

My recent visit to Inkas was delightful, featuring an array of Peruvian dishes, that left my tastebuds craving for more. We ordered fish ceviche and fried calamari as appetizers. Their ceviche was prepared just right, fresh, tangy and bursting in flavors. Their fried calamari was fried to perfection accompanied by a dipping sauce that gave it a kick. As our main course we ordered their green pasta with a chicken Milanese and Lomo Saltado. They were both excellent. The restaurant was cozy and quaint. The servers were attentive and professional, although it was busy our dishes came out quick. Great experience. We will definitely be back again soon! read more

I went here for the the first time today. I have to admit everything I've been told about this restaurant it's true. The food it's excellent and they serve big portions, the restaurant its very clean ans it has a great ambiance, the prices are fair, their customer service its great. The girls who work there are stunning and very friendly. I haven't been in a customer friendly restaurant like this one in years. Came with the guys from work during lunch and it was very busy, they are for sure doing something right. This will be our new favorite spot. The hostess told us they are also open nights so I have to come again and check it out. read more

I recently discovered this amazing jewel. I don't know what the other two reviewers are talking about, this place is so inexpensive for quality of food and service you get, it's gourmet food at a cheap price. Barbara said it was sooo salty, girl you need to recheck your taste buds. I used to go to the Inka Grill in Costa Mesa near my work and Inka Mamas Foothill Ranch for dinner, the prices here are $3 less than Inka Grill & $4 to $5 less than Inka Mamas. They have a great customer service, they always greet you with a hello and a big smile. I love the girls here they are beautiful inside and out. I will defenetly be coming back. read more

Horrible place. Very disorganized and poor management. Do not go there. Crazy horrible. Horrible service and the food is not even that great. Never will come back. They clearly don't care about their business. The way they operate should be out of business very soon. Again, stay away from this place. They truly are really really bad. When went to talk with the owner she disappeared. Clearly afraid of hear how awful her place is. Again, DO NOT go there. BAD BAD service. HORRIBLE place. STAY AWAY. read more

This charming little Peruvian spot offers a big flavor punch. I recently tried their rotisserie chicken with black beans, and it was delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked - juicy and flavorful with a crispy skin. The black beans were simple but delicious, a great accompaniment. I do wish they would offer more side choices besides beans and french fries. Overall, Incas is a great choice for a casual and tasty Peruvian meal. It's perfect for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner. Highly recommend! read more

The escabeche was such a delight that I am proud to have chosen that order instead of my usual tallarin verde. A boneless chicken breast sizzled with garlic and pepper, topped with onions, drenched in a spicy marinated sauce, served over potatoes, and steamed rice was very exquisite. I loved how spicy it was. It hit my Latin tongue. I recommend this dish to anyone trying something new and something spicy. This dish reminds us abit from home. read more

I dined at this Peruvian restaurant for dinner and had a pleasant experience overall. The dish was tasty, with tender beef and a nice mix of soy and spices. I especially liked how the yucca huancaina stayed crispy even it stayed long in my table. The service was warm and friendly, though it took a little while for our food to arrive. I would definitely return to try more of their offerings read more

Great place. The best Peruvian food I ever had. Outstanding customer service, excellent food, a good price for the quality of food your getting. The young girls who work there are STUNNING and very nice. The place is usually crowded, a good sign they know what they are doing. I have introduced many people to Inkas Restaurant, and everyone loves it. read more

i will go straight to the point here: ladies: do nt bother going there, the only thing you will get from the waitresses is horrible service and attitude. in the other hand, for the gentlemen; this is a place you want to go over and over; since the waitresses are all over the guys, and i mean all over, this is shameful to say the least... read more

Amazing food ! Great patio ! Get the ceviche and empanadas to start ! There are secret items off the menu ... ask the servers :) And of course get the Banana Fantasy for dessert . It's an imported Peruvian ice cream called Lucuma with caramelized plantains and whipped cream drizzled with some more caramel sauce read more

This is a great family owned restaurant. With the recipes of 4 generations of smart and strong women. They take pride in the quality and standards of their Peruvian cuisine. Hands down one the best Peruvian restaurants in Southern California and not only that also unique flavors that gives a little bit of Peru. read more

This is a great spot to grab lunch in Irvine. The food is consistently good and the staff is friendly. Just be prepared that a lot of the Peruvian food here is heavy on the onions. Tasty, but bring some mints along if you're going back to the office and plan on meeting with anyone. They will thank me later! read more
