Food was great, service was standard, nothing stood out but we weren't neglected. However, tip fraud has happened to me before and it is the one thing i cannot tolerate. But beware of tip fraud! they added 13$ to my credit card charge and i just disputed it. read more

My son raves about this restaurant, so I decided to try it last time I went to visit him in Irvine. It's located in a business building. It has a lovely patio, and it's an elegant restaurant. I don't remember the name of what we ordered but I am adding pictures to this review. My food was rice, beans, salad and delicious meat with grilled onions. I also ordered sangria. Divine! The food was so good that we decided to order a Peruvian flan. Boy....was it good. Service was impeccable! read more

We came here for our last book club meeting and I was pleasantly surprised by this little spot hidden in the midst of a business park-y area. I had no idea this even existed! Unsurprisingly, due to it's location, it was not busy at all during the after-work hours. In fact, I believe in the entire time we were there (2 hours), one person dined alone and another got take-out. Although they closed at 9, they started cleaning up a little after 8. It was a little sad. For food, we started with the ceviche (delicious). I ordered the beef picante for my main while my dining companions got the mariscos picante and a vegetable soup of some sort. Both seemed satisfied with their orders. I liked mine just fine - minor complaint was the beef was slightly tough but nothing I can't handle. And of course, I ate too much bread with green sauce. Oops. The lone server was very nice and on point though you do feel kind of bad for her - if she were the owner, you wish her better dinner business. Hopefully the lunch crowd more than makes up for the lull at night. Definitely some place to think about should you want Incan food. Cheers! read more

Cute spot in what seemed to be a Industrial area. Service was great and food was better than expected. Sangrias weren't as strong as expected but still pretty tasty so kept ordering more. They probably wanted that though, LOL.... we got some Appetizers and the Spinach and Cheese Empanadas were my favorite, some Friends liked the Chicken Empanadas plus the Yuca Potato's. The sauce on the Yuca Potato's though was even better. That GREEN SAUCE though is on point delicious with a hint of spice. read more

Inkas Irvine - Beef Picante (Beef Stew) with Cilantro Rice. - Peruvian Near Me - Irvine, California

A hidden gem tucked away in a business complex. The food is always delicious. My favorite is the seafood picante which is a stew with shrimp, fish, and. They don't skimp on the seafood, and it's always super fresh! The portion sizes are large, and I would recommend getting the cilantro rice instead of white rice (it's an extra $2). They also give complimentary bread with green sauce. Green sauce is quite spicy but a good addition to any dish too if you want a kick. Overall it's a bit on the pricier side (~$20/dish) but well worth it! read more

Today I brought my friend, Miguel, and my cousin to Inkas for lunch. Miguel is 93 years old and moving away from California. We came here and we're so graciously waited on and served by Juana.. A true professional in every way. Her recommendations and knowledge of the menu was exactly what you expect when you're out to dinner. She and her co-worker/waitress, Maddie, smiled and gave us a great experience of Peruvian food and made this special day for Miguel wonderful. The food was freshly cooked and made to order. The dessert was good we took orders home. If you're looking for a good dining experience with some delicious food, your search is over, Inkas restaurant is where you should go. read more

Inkas Irvine - Chaufa Shrimp or Seafood (Fried-rice) - Peruvian Near Me - Irvine, California

Peruvian food is good the only disappointment was the green sauce it was to hot it does not let you enjoy to spice.

Restaurant is tucked away in the corner of an business industrial complex. I almost thought it was the wrong place as I was turning in. Service was amazing. Waitress constantly checked on my party to refill waters and ask if everything was good. Received the complimentary bread and green sauce. Green sauce was spicier than expected, but pretty good. Ordered the Arroz con Pollo and the ceviche. Arroz con Pollo wasn't as flavorful as I liked. The best part was definitely the chicken and sauce. The rice was a little bland, and overall under seasoned. Ceviche was very lemony/vinegary, but it complimented the fish well. Overall a pretty decent place with amazing service. read more

Food is great. Lomo saltado is great especially if you can talk them into making the fries extra crispy The place feels a little cramped though. I wish they spread out the tables a little but I know it's a small spot The service is amazing. Everyone there is nice and great. Their recommendations are always in point read more

I had a visit to Kaiser and came out hungry as a bear. Found this place on Yelp and had to try it. We got there about 12:45 which meant the end of the lunch crowd. We got seated right away. The waitress was very nice. It was a bit noisy but I guess that's a good thing. We got our drinks and bread very fast. The bread was not warm like other Peruvian places I've been to, but the Green Sauce made up for it. Very spicy but very good. We ordered Lomo Saltado and Steak and Eggs. They brought the food out very fast. Every thing was very good. I'd go back again and would highly recommend this place read more

The restaurant is rather inconspicuous because it's tucked away in an office park, but it's a hidden gem of authentic Peruvian food in the Irvine area! The service is always amazing, food comes out pretty fast, and waiters check on you often. I really feel welcomed and valued by their staff and I truly appreciate the energy I receive each time. As a lover of seafood, I am in love with their Peruvian paella! It's just so refreshing and flavorful; one of the best paellas I've had to date! It's one of their house specialties with a delicious combo of calamari, mussels, shrimp, and fish with their fire cilantro rice and marinated red onions. Super generous portions and it can probably be shared between 2-3 people because I usually take leftovers home. I also tried their arroz con pollo which was yummy and tender, but very similar to the paella. Their crispy handmade empanadas are also a must-have for an appetizer and I loved dipping them in their tangy sauce. Also, you can pick and choose between 3 flavors: beef, chicken, or mozzarella and spinach. If you're craving something sweet, don't forget to order a box of their Peruvian cookies to-go! It kind of reminds me of French macaron but with shortbread and not overly sweet. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but I l prefer to sit outside because it's shaded and dog-friendly. Overall, I have enjoyed everything I tried on the menu and my experience is 10/10. Some of the best Peruvian cuisine I've had in Orange County! read more

In general, it was delicious. But it seemed to me that the products were not fresh. I was satisfied

Everything about this place was amazing. Have only been here twice but each time am presented with exceptional service. Even though I placed a to-go order David still brought out a glass of water with some bread accompanied with their Ajil and butter for me to have while I waited. The area is quaint and although slightly small, it is still decorated beautifully. Would definitely come here during their dinner service to enjoy out in the patio. read more

Delicious food! Great service! Cute atmosphere. I'm not a peruvian food expert, but this place makes delicious food. I love the tallarin verde in particular, and their lomo saltado and fried rice are both quite good too. The fries on the saltado are on the softer side, but the flavors are great. They give you free bread with this delicious green sauce, and the drinks are also yummy. The wait staff is very friendly, and the outdoor seating has a very cute atmosphere. read more

Tried for the first time, and was very excited! The flavors were great, but a few things were a little disappointing. I'd say the most disappointing thing was the portion sizes, specifically the seafood dishes. We got the paella and seafood saltado. Other Peruvian places I've been will at least be really generous with the fish and calamari, but there wasn't much in our dishes. Most bites were rice without seafood. Also the use of catfish was a bit disappointing as well. Tilapia would have been a better alternative. But this could be my personal preference as I'm not a fan of catfish. Last bit of disappointment was from the paella. There was a mix of green beans, carrots, and corn. Based on the texture and taste of them, I think they just opened a bag of frozen mixed veggies and mixed it in. Again, great flavors, but for the price I'd expect more portions of seafood. Maybe I had an off day, but I'd be willing to try again; but I'll probably be trying other dishes. read more

Never knew this place was here and it's in the oddest location by a bunch of businesses. I made 2 wrong turns before getting here. I feel like I've been to this place before, if they were in a different location. We sat outside since we were the only ones here. Ahh I can' t remember what my friend got, but she thought it was ok. I got Parihuela (spice level options) (Peruvian Bouillabaisse) A combination of seafood including shrimp, calamari, fish, mussel, cilantro & garlic, low simmered with bite size potatoes in a red onion & tomato broth. I asked for it to be spicy but it wasn't very spicy at all. The bread and green sauce was amazing! We had to ask for more since we only got a little container of it being covid times. I did feel like we were putting the waitress out but she did bring us more bread and green sauce after we asked. I think I'll have to give it another try next time I'm near here after covid. SYOY! read more

This is some of the best Peruvian food we've ever had! My bf is Colombian and Peruvian food is his favorite! The location is a bit hidden in a shopping center amongst office/industrial buildings, but any map app will lead you to this (slightly) hidden gem. There is a patio outside, as well as beautiful indoor seating. It was very clean and nicely decorated. We had the ceviche, aguadito de pollo soup, maracuya juice, chicha morada juice & lucuma ice cream. They brought a basket of bread to begin with butter and aji verde (spicy green sauce). Everything was so delicious and the portions were great! I have no doubt everything on their menu is tasty and made with love! The waiter was super kind and explained everything well. All in all, loved this spot! We'll definitely be back! read more
