Had this on my to do list for a couple of years now actually and finally decided to stop in since I was with a colleague and I wanted some place for us to get a drink. Not many suitable bar/restaurants and this part of the PGC so it's not like we had a lot to choose from where decent food and a liquor license coincided. I had a Long Island and a Mai Tai. The Mai Tai was better, so I had two. I had a shrimp po'boy loaded with lots of jumbo shrimp and a side of crinkle cuts. Got a juicy morsel of shrimp in every bite and the sandwich was moist and delicious. No dead sandwich space missing shrimp or ingredients. Nice Italian sub roll too. They even gave me a side of Crystal hot sauce for my fries. *smiles* My coworker had a crab cake sandwich which was also delicious. They need to work on the decor in here and update it some (bathrooms are dated but smelled really good), but it's otherwise a very inviting neighborhood restaurant. First time here! Parking lot out front is shared with multiple businesses. But on a Saturday afternoon, plenty of space availabile. Nene was our waitress, bartender, superwoman!! she was amazing and I had a chance to talk with her 1-1 like I had known her forever! I ordered whiting with grits and mac with Tisa's Island drink. The drink was delish and mildly strong. Whiting was good, Mac was good (added some salt and pepper tho) grits were like cornmeal style and I liked it! TVs were playing random music videos and the Oriole's game. Music was playing in the back of the cooking area perhaps. This seems like a dope spot for happy hour and late night ventures. I wanted to be ok with the collard green spring rolls but honestly the best part was the sweet Thai chili dipping sauce. I could see the vision though. How can I accurately describe Infuse? Picture a 1974 Black Exploitation movie staring Bill Cosby chilling at a lounge. WELL, Infuse is that lounge!! "Lil Seymore" and "Big Percy" could walk in at any moment. My older friends may get that reference..lol Definitely a blast from the past!! Once you get past that nostalgic moment, it's time to EAT. The food at Infuse is darn right GOOOOOD!! I've been stopping by Infuse periodically for about 4 years now and I've NEVER had a bad experience. The crab and shrimp flat bread is a straight up HIT. You will never find better shrimp and grits and the Mac and Cheese ranks right up there with my dear Grandmother (RIH)!! As you might imagine from my opening soliloquy, they don't cheat on the drinks so don't leave twisted.. call an UBER!! LOL I love a good neighborhood hole in the wall but Infuse seems like a bit more than that. It has somewhat of a family feel and once you've stopped in a couple times you'll definitely be part of the family. This was my 1st time hearing about this place and I found them on Yelp. I placed my pick-up order and it was so worth it. I ordered a vegan steak sub that came with fries. It smelled so good that when I picked it up I had to have a taste. It was so delicious I sat in the parking lot and finished the whole sub, even started on the fries before I continued on home. I dropped in for a quick bite with my best friend. We ordered the lemon pepper wings, a salad, crab dip, and the collard green egg rolls. Everything was delicious. I liked how diverse the menu was. We really enjoyed the service. And had such an amazing waitress. She gave us suggestions on what to try and we really enjoyed her recommendations. The ambiance was quiet and chill but it wasn't as festive as I would have imagined. I feel like the views didn't reach the standard. But you get the point, the food is amazing so it doesn't necessarily need to be pretty on the inside. But all in all, we will def be back again soon. Came here on my off day and it was quiet. Ms. Christina was a great host, bartender, server for me on this particular day. I asked for suggestions based on what was offered on the menu and she gave me her honest opinion. I ordered the Grilled Salmon with mac & cheese and broccoli. The salmon and mac & cheese were delicious and the broccoli was too soft and under-seasoned. The portions are a bit skimp for the price point so I didn't leave full from food, but instead the liquor I consumed which isn't a bad thing for me. I love to drink, however I do love food! About 30 mins later and after my male friend came and sat down..another server appeared (coincidence) and we placed an order for 2 Killa lool -aid drinks...which where JUST ok.. My friend then ordered buffalo wings, and fries. The food was served about 15 minutes later..with no utensils or salt/pepper. Infuse Restaurant surprised me. The food was very well seasoned, however, it was a bit salty. I took one star away because my order was incorrect and didn't particularly care for the people sitting outside smoking. I plan on going back snd taking a friend because the pictures of the food looked good to them. I honestly believe that the removal of the people from outside of the restaurant will elevate things. There was a lot of traffic for people going into the restaurant. I had the Shrimp and Grits with extra shrimp (not pictured), Sautéed Spinach, and Catfish Nuggets. The Shrimp and Grits and Sautéed Spinach "gave everything it was supposed to give". The Catfish Nuggets were soggy. I personally think they need to be cooked longer. I had food delivered, so I can't speak to the brick and mortar store, but my delivered food has always been yummy! I get the vegan burger, and I'm not even vegan anymore. It's just that good! The food arrived hot, and the patty had melty cheese and crispness from the grill. Idk how strict they are about keeping their grill vegan. When I was keeping a vegan diet, I never noticed an animal taste, but now I've lost my radar for that, and it's never really been something I'm sensitive about. The fries were hot and delicious. In an effort to support local restaurants during this time of social distancing, COVID-19 and social isolation, I ordered from Infuse to go. I got the seafood platter. It comes with a broiled crab cake, catfish nuggets, shrimp (I got grilled shrimp. You can get the shrimp grilled or fried), 1 firecracker salmon roll and 2 sides. I got mine with broccoli and fries. The broccoli was lightly steamed and not seasoned at all but that's the only complaint I have. I've had better seasoned crab cakes but it was still ok. The firecracker salmon was delicious and so was the catfish nuggets. They gave me a seperate container full of fries and they were good. I ordered the bread pudding for dessert and it was some of the best I've ever had. I felt it was plenty considering the price. I will definitely order again! read more

Any time you can roll up to the bar on a Sunday afternoon and make new friends, dance, drink and laugh together is a great time. If you're looking for a fun upbeat vibe, but not the club, go here! My bar tender the last time was Christina. She was amazing, she manned the bar alone for quite some time but drinks and food were still served timely. I visited Infuse Restaurant and Bar recently (during "lunch" hours). The building's location and *external* appearance does not give any hint of the quality of food and service that I would receive within this otherwise unassuming establishment. (For comparison, I've eaten at a restaurant at MGM/Harbor, and the food there wasn't as good as what I had here at Infuse). Once inside, however, the interior is well appointed for its purpose--a clean, cosy, modern bar/restaurant with live entertainment. Our server's name was "Domonique". She was friendly, proactive, and made no mistakes with our orders. She didn't seem to be the talkative/bubbly type, though. (some servers be like ; she was more like ) Notably, she reportedly had to handle more tables than normal that afternoon, but you couldn't tell. I ordered the "Salmon Sliders" (after seeing them on their Instagram page, which I recommend everyone to review before going). My order did take a while to arrive, but it ended up being worth the wait. The buns were toasted just right. The salmon portions were more-than-reasonable; blackened and seasoned well; thick and juicy -- not thin, dried out and tough. Everyone else at the table expressed satisfaction with their orders (Infuse wings, quesadillas, vegan Philly steak/cheese, etc) 1 CON: It was about 2pm, yet the music was a bit too loud for us to have a conversation without raising our voice. I had good vibes choosing this place for a crew dinner when coming to DC and let me tell ya, it loved up to everything I and everyone expected! Super-nice people in a fun atmosphere and the food and service was absolutely perfect! We started out with fried green tomatoes, corn bread and collard spring rolls. All of them tasted fantastic! After many back-and-forths between chicken and waffles, fried fish or pork chops I chose the pork chops. I'm SO glad I did! Holy crap they were super tasty and crunchy! With a side of the gravy it was only that much better! My sides were mac & cheese and steamed vegetables. Everything made this meal a very memorable experience! Crab fries were good because the potatoes they use don't get soggy, I liked the Alfredo I got because I had the option to choose fried shrimp as a topping which was a hit, and the garlic bread was really good for dipping in the Alfredo sauce. The broccoli though I could tell was frozen which took away from the flavor, and the sauce was a little too runny for me personally, and the noodles a bit over cooked but I won't act like I wouldn't order it again it was still a vibe. They looked great and they were devoured pretty quickly. I never heard of this place before but I'm always open to checking out new places :) I ordered the long Island and it was strong (good for me) but if you can't handle strong drinks, please proceed with caution. Not sure if they offer happy hour, but if they do, I must have arrived after but I found the prices very reasonable. It wasn't super big inside but definitely cozy and we sat in the lounge area on couches. For an early Friday evening, it wasn't super packed at all. I've never been here in person but I've ordered delivery multiple times through Uber Eats and Door Dash. I can only speak on their vegan menu but they never disappoint. The chicken drummies have more seasoning choices compared to other restaurants I've been to. The cheesesteak and shrimp and chips were also pretty good. The fish and chip were okay. The fish was Gardein fillet which I buy pretty often so I was a little disappointed in that. Would recommend overall for the vegan menu! read more

Once again Chef Rush has demonstrated his culinary proficiency by cleaning up the restaurant, modernizing the decor, and improving a few dishes. *Attention to orders!* I came the other day and ordered the Dominator Burger, named after a local youth basketball team. It dominated my taste buds like a kitchen commando! Delicious sauce and well cooked, it definitely had taste. (That's my biggest complaint with food, when it has no taste) But they get a demerit over the price. Those basketball players are kids and won't be able to afford it that often. Though tasty, the polenta and chutney is not really suited to the clientele. They're more suited to fritos and french onion dip. I decided to go to this restaurant on 11/22/2022 after dropping my daughter off for tutoring. I ordered takeout for myself and my daughter. I ordered two chicken and waffles and steak and cheese egg rolls. I did not like the food. The waffles were two soft and the chicken had no seasoning. I received three small egg rolls that had no taste. I only visited this restaurant, because I wanted something different. I ate in side the restaurant some years back and the food was fine.
