We had a very positive experience with this company. Our new…read morefiberglass front door is gorgeous. We did it all online, never setting foot in the store. Can't get more millennial than that and I'm not even a millennial. The communication with the company was always easy either via phone or E-mail. The payment methods were also all made online as it should be in 2021. We're close to putting people on Mars, but many companies in the US still rely on bank paper checks, lol. We had a professional measuring our old door beforehand to make sure all was right. Then we choose the door from their vast selection and once we agreed on the door details, we got a good quote and ordered it with a promise to be delivered in 12 weeks. It took only 9 1/2 weeks (Epic movie, by the way) so we cannot complain. The crew that installed our door did it in 2 hours and did a perfect job. They even installed my Smart Lock, which I assumed I would have to do it myself as it's more complex than a regular Dumb lock, so that saved me time. Very happy with the company and product, highly recommended.

The installer was equally as competent. I upgraded builder grade hollow doors for solid core in some of the areas of my new home. I'm overall very happy with the product and the service. The only negative was the price. I felt they were overpriced across the board. If I had more time before moving in, I would have searched a little deeper for more reasonable prices. No regrets, though!

I cannot say enough good things about Gary and the work he does!…read more From the very beginning of a substantial remodel to our house, he was prompt, professional and did a great job. He was able to start right away and had a bid for me very quickly for a lot of different projects. He removed one wall entirely for me, shortened another wall, widened a doorway to 7 feet, set 4 cabinets to make an island, repaired the sheet rock in my ceiling and leveled the floor in our converted garage. I basically have an entirely new house because of Gary's amazing work! His bid was very fair and better than any of the larger construction companies that I spoke with. He was also able to start quickly and finished my project in 2 weeks. The work is gorgeous and I could not be any more proud of our house. He is very honest and will help you figure out the best way to make your ideas work within your budget and the quality of his work is unquestionable. Gary was great to deal with and very respectful of our furniture and the rest of the house that was not being remodeled. He and his crew were very helpful, knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. I would hire them for any future projects without a second thought. In the middle of our remodel our entire house flooded and Gary came back after they were through for the day and helped us get things off the floor, etc. He brought additional help the next day and spent the day cleaning the disaster that the flood had made of our house. Because of Gary and his crew, our entire project ended within the scheduled time and the flood did not set things back more than a day. He also saved us from a substantial amount of water damage and other issues. I truly cannot stress enough the quality of work Gary does, he completely transformed my house for a price I was able to afford and did so in a timely and efficient manner. He was completely willing to help with issues that came up and his attention to detail is amazing. If you are remodeling this is definitely the guy to hire!

I didn't know Gary Ferber of Ferber Construction when I asked him for a bid on a bathroom…read moreremodeling. I'm glad I found him when I did. The job was going to involve both plumbing and carpentry, and Gary made it clear that he and his crew could do it all, and they did. I am very pleased with not only their excellent work, but they are good people to invite into your home to perform their professional work. Gary has a unique ability of aesthetics - I had a simple idea, but he made me see that it would look better if he could do a slight variation of my initial concept. I feel that I have a new bathroom! I have invited Gary back to do another job, this time it involves masonry in my backyard, and again Gary made me see that my idea would be better if he could tweak it. And so Gary has tweaked it, and it indeed looks better. You won't go wrong getting Gary to do your work. Plus he and his crew are nice and respectful.

I am updating the review to respond to the business's calculated misrepresentation of the facts and…read morean attempt to minimize severe, documented building code violations. For prospective customers reading this, here is the verified context: Fraudulently advertising yourselves as a "James Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor" to secure the job, only to systemically violate the manufacturer's strict installation guidelines, is not a "punch-list" oversight--it is deceptive marketing and a material breach of contract. Puncturing an internal PVC plumbing pipe, illegally wrapping it in black duct tape, and immediately hiding it behind the new siding is not a 'punch-list' item - it is active fraudulent concealment. The 'Fraudulent' Financing: We authorized the payment because they claimed to follow actively concealed the duct-taped plumbing. Inducing a customer to authorize a loan by hiding severe damage is the legal definition of fraudulent concealment. Contradictory Public Statements & The BBB Complaint: JP Exteriors is using public platforms to feign cooperation. On our active BBB complaint, they claim they are waiting for our independent inspection report before taking action. However, their own written record proves they inspected the property themselves on June 11th and issued a superficial patching offer on June 22nd. The very next day, they explicitly stated in writing they were not willing to expand their scope to a full replacement, formally refusing to cure the hidden defects before our third-party inspection was even conducted on June 24th. The 42-page independent inspection report, which we received on June 29, definitively confirms that the widespread, concealed code violations and structural deficiencies cannot be resolved through superficial patching. The report details systemic failures, including improperly installed weather-resistant barriers, missing flashings, overdriven fasteners, damaged boards, unsealed wall penetrations, and an internal PVC plumbing pipe that was punctured by a fastener and actively concealed with black duct tape. The Manufacturer's Involvement: James Hardie is indeed involved, to the extent that the manufacturer offered to provide free replacement materials to JP Exteriors so they could execute a proper rework. JP Exteriors leadership actively refused this offer. We stand entirely by our documented evidence, our 42-page forensic inspection report, and our active fraud dispute with the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. The video proof of punctured plumbing remain on this review.
