For prospective customers reading this, here is the verified context: Fraudulently advertising yourselves as a "James Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor" to secure the job, only to systemically violate the manufacturer's strict installation guidelines, is not a "punch-list" oversight--it is deceptive marketing and a material breach of contract. Puncturing an internal PVC plumbing pipe, illegally wrapping it in black duct tape, and immediately hiding it behind the new siding is not a 'punch-list' item - it is active fraudulent concealment. The 'Fraudulent' Financing: We authorized the payment because they claimed to follow actively concealed the duct-taped plumbing. Inducing a customer to authorize a loan by hiding severe damage is the legal definition of fraudulent concealment. Contradictory Public Statements & The BBB Complaint: JP Exteriors is using public platforms to feign cooperation. On our active BBB complaint, they claim they are waiting for our independent inspection report before taking action. However, their own written record proves they inspected the property themselves on June 11th and issued a superficial patching offer on June 22nd. The very next day, they explicitly stated in writing they were not willing to expand their scope to a full replacement, formally refusing to cure the hidden defects before our third-party inspection was even conducted on June 24th. The 42-page independent inspection report, which we received on June 29, definitively confirms that the widespread, concealed code violations and structural deficiencies cannot be resolved through superficial patching. The report details systemic failures, including improperly installed weather-resistant barriers, missing flashings, overdriven fasteners, damaged boards, unsealed wall penetrations, and an internal PVC plumbing pipe that was punctured by a fastener and actively concealed with black duct tape. The Manufacturer's Involvement: James Hardie is indeed involved, to the extent that the manufacturer offered to provide free replacement materials to JP Exteriors so they could execute a proper rework. JP Exteriors leadership actively refused this offer. We stand entirely by our documented evidence, our 42-page forensic inspection report, and our active fraud dispute with the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. We contacted Austin Pro Siding as part of a comprehensive siding replacement project, as our…read morefiberboard siding was end-of-life and starting to really have problems that would have only gotten worse. Along the way, we also discovered that we needed to have the roof replaced, and so put that in the mix for a bid as well. We contacted six different companies, each of which brought a particular set of strengths and challenges. We chose Austin Pro based on a combination of factors: personalized attention to our project, comprehensive estimate and explanation of each line item, and ability to get the project done on a timeline that worked for us. We chose to have the house re-sided with Hardie Plank, painted with Sherwin-Williams paint, and re-shingled the roof with GAF shingles. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the process of basically re-doing the entire house, especially when insurance companies come into play. To that end, everyone at Austin Pro was first rate. Before we even settled on a contractor, Paul, our project manager, walked me through the intricacies of the process, and spent probably more time than he wanted explaining how things would go, and what options we had. The bid was competitive, and the line-by-line items on the original bid made it easy to see what was going to be done, and what materials were going to be used. He was patient and courteous and flexible, and was also able to speak to us in a way that didn't make things even more confusing. Kevin was the siding project lead, and though we never met in person, I felt comfortable that he had our best interests at heart as he got the crew on site, working fast and efficiently to remove and replace the siding. He even called in the middle of the siding job to tell us that we didn't need something we thought we would, saving us money that we could then use for add-ons we didn't originally budget for. The siding install and siding paint was done beyond our initial expectations, with nice touches like window framing and utility box framing that I didn't even know we needed but now look perfect. We had the back door repainted as well as our front balcony and pillars, and the end result is fantastic. It really was done to the point where it looks like a brand new house, and not one built in the early 1990s. Paul was back on site for the roofing job, and the roofers did a great job removing and replacing the shingles and skylight with new materials, on a roof that is exceptionally steep and challenging. They had the entire project done in only two days, and it looks fantastic. Finally, Garrett came by to do the final walk-through and punch list check-off, and was a real pleasure to interact with. He fulfilled all the items on the list, at least the ones he could do on his own, and did so in a friendly, courteous, and extremely efficient manner. All in all, Austin Pro lived up to their name and to their reputation. It is possible to find a company that can do your big jobs for less, but I am not sure you could find one that could do it better. They stand by their work with a quality assurance guarantee, and while I don't intend to need it, it's great that it's there.

I KNEW I wanted Marvin windows. Based on all of the research and reviews, Marvin made a window that would outlive me, and that's what I wanted. I mean they are an investment. My first Marvin dealer gave me a high number that I wasn't stoked about, but okay, they're amazing windows. The thing that got me shopping for my second dealer, was that the first dealer wanted signed permission from my husband to purchase windows.....CASH. As much as I love that man, I don't have time for that. He works hitches, I run the ranch. My second dealer was in the same ballpark on money, but they also wanted signed permission from a man who did not want to be involved. At this point, I had not even been able to lay hands on a Marvin window because neither dealer had a storefront, they wanted a signature from a man who was away at work and I was left with holes in my house where windows should be. So again, off I went to the third dealer. When I arrived at Showroom Windows, you wouldn't believe it, but they had a SHOWROOM! I could finally lay hands on a Marvin window, a Pella and even an Anderson! And do you know what happened next? Those nice people took my cash and ordered my windows for me, even without my husband's permission. It was so refreshing to be treated like an adult and the price, the price was way under what others had quoted me. I have been so happy with the staff at Showroom Windows, that I ordered my second set of windows and just had them installed today. In fact, until this entire renovation is complete, I will continue to order my windows from them. Even if it requires a drive, I'm close to Waco, the level of care you receive as a customer is top tier. As for the actual windows. I wanted an unobstructed view from the second story, so where the distance was high enough from floor to window, I went with casements. HOWEVER, it was not uncommon, read daily, for that house to experience high winds and I needed a window that would not rattle, flap, or break should future generations leave a window open. They have been left open a lot and are absolutely rock solid. Plus the view is amazing. In the eaves, we did double hung, as they were only inches from the floor and it was imperative that I had a window that could be dropped from the top and lock. Even though my kids are grown, looking out for the well being of my future grands was a top priority. Marvin absolutely delivered on beauty and safety.

Just had a upstairs bedroom window replaced that had become foggy. I had no idea who to hire to help me with this job. After several phone calls with ridiculous price quotes and disinterested sounding people I turned to yelp for help. After reading the positive reviews for Aeromass Glass I gave them a call. The owner's name is Trent Hankins and I only had dealings with him. He came all the way out to Kyle to measure my window for no charge he then had to order the window. Four business days later the window arrived and he returned for the install. I cannot say enough good things about him. He was very nice, knowledgeable, efficient and offered the best price. He took great care to be careful in and around our home and was aware of cleanliness. Not only was he professional, he was just a really nice guy. He even did a few extra things for me that I asked him for help with and he was easy to talk with and offered some recommendations on a few other repairs I need to do. I would highly recommend him. I am completely pleased with the work he did for me. I will definitely call him for my next window replacement. read more

ok, how much do i love aeromass glass!!! tuesday night, i came home and my stupid roomate locked me out and i had to break into my own place. well, turns out i broke the most expensive glass in my house, which sucks becuase i was trying to go for the cheapest looking glass. lol. wednesday morning, i called around and got several bids from serveral different glass companies. I found Aeromass glass becuase they are local and in cedar park like me. :) He said he could have the glass the next day, and was waaaaaaaaayyyyy cheaper than anyone else for the exact same glass that was in my door. He showed up at 9am thursday morning, and was gone by 10. and you could never tell there was ever a bunch of broken glass outside my door and in my dining room. he was very informative and let me know everything he was doing the whole time, he seems like he knows his stuff. seriously, if anyone else i know ever finds themselves in this same situation i will totally tell them about Aeromass Glass!!! quick, affordable, and reliable service! can't be beat!! read more

It's fantastic when you can find a reliable, hard-working, and affordable professional contractor and Trent at Aeromass Glass is every bit of that. Trent not only beat the bids of the other two more well-known glass repair companies we contacted but also was the only one able to get the repair done in less than a week, which was huge for us as we had our daughter's birthday party that weekend. Aeromass quickly replaced four large windows, including two with custom bar treatments, and even corrected a leveling issue the original builder had made all while my wife and I continued working from home. I had a pretty awesome night in downtown Austin... Anyway, I took a cab to and from... bringing only my house key with me. I somehow lost the key and had to bust one of my small windows in my backdoor to enter my domicile. Usually I would figure it out in the morning, but I had a few new female friends that were needing to enter as well. The next day I called Trent and he was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Contacted Trent at the recommendation of another glass company who were no longer doing residential work. Trent was able to quote for the job remotely based on pictures that I had sent him. Communication was great, and he turned up exactly when he said he would to replace our glazed unit in the patio door.
