I highly recommend Matthew for window repairs. Our window needed balancers replaced. The window is unusual so he had to search for a possible replacement balancer & order it. He returned to our house to install it but unfortunately, the new part wasn't a fit. Matthew didn't charge us for his time. Matthew was quick to come out & responds quickly to texts/emails. I recommend Perks Glass! read more

We have had Matthew from Perks Glass replace some hardware on a few windows in our now 25 year old house. He has been professional and courteous during two visits, has given us fair estimates, and has completed the repairs to our satisfaction. The repairs he did to our downstairs windows on his first visit a few years ago are holding up well. Recommended. read more

We have had the glass in several large windows replaced by Matt and Richard - Always friendly, thorough, and they leave things perfectly fixed. We're really happy with their work. The glass in this window was a monster to change and there were supply chain issues, but Matt kept us in the loop - and look at the results. Perfect. Thanks Guys! read more

Excellent fast service and very quality work. Replaced a large dual pane section on a window. Came to location to measure the next day after I made contact. Once the new section was manufactured (about a 1.5 weeks), he removed the old and installed the new section. Perfect fit and perfect color match to existing trim. read more

Matthew was recommended to me by another glass repair company. I need a balancer for my window because one side broke. He came the same day and knocked it out in about 15 min. I asked some other questions and at no point did he try to sell me on things I didn't need. Honesty, hard work and integrity is very rare these days unfortunately. So to have Matt come in with great service like that I will definitely recommend him to everyone I know... Thank you! read more

My window shattered about 2 weeks ago due to heat or a defect in the glass. I called Matthew at Perks Glass and he suggested that I call the glass company to see if they would send me the glass for free since my house was only 5 years old. He saved me a TON of money! MI Windows & Doors agreed to send me a tempered glass replacement for free as a gesture of good will (great customer service!). Matthew came over the very next day and taped the window up so it wouldn't shatter inside the house - which it did not. The window was delivered on Sunday and Matthew came over on Wednesday morning to install it. The window was tempered glass, and it stayed up the whole time because it was taped, it wasn't letting any heat in or cold air out. Matthew was very professional, let me know when he was coming, wore a mask the whole time due to Covid, and was very safe. He got the whole window out in 1 big piece - which was surprising because it was shattered inside the glass. He did a beautiful job putting the new glass in! He cleaned up the area inside and outside the house for any small pieces that may have fallen. He took away the big wood box the window came in - which I appreciated too. I would highly recommend Matthew and Perks Glass for any of your glass replacement needs! He was exceptional and I felt like a valued customer the whole time! read more

Y'all...Matt came to our rescue. We were throwing the ball around in the backyard for the dogs and the glass shattered in one of our large windows. Huge fail. It was late at night when it happened so we taped it up the best we could with trash bags and duck tape since a storm was rolling in. I needed it fixed asap. I called multiple people and no one had the single pane glass we needed for repair, but I got a referral for Matt and he totally came through! Now being high risk and COVID-19 happening I was terrified. Matt had a mask and ensured us he wouldn't need to come into our house or in direct contact with us. The repair was quick and he was so kind communicating with us during the process via text. The price also was good, which I was terrified about and she'd many tears as we are currently down to one income and it's hard. He was so kind and respectful and communicated via text with us. I am so happy we were referred to him and would highly recommend his services! Thank you Matt it's appreciated! read more

Matthew was able to come out the next morning (Saturday morning) when I reached out Friday afternoon which I was pleasantly surprised by. He was timely and professional in addition to teaching me a thing or two about by windows. I recommend working with Perks if you have any glass needs. read more

We had a bird strike that shattered a pane in our 1960s home's bay window. Matthew responded promptly to our call and very carefully replaced the pane with a sturdier piece of glass. It was a persnickety job because he had to navigate the old trim work, but he was patient and made the repair seamlessly. His pricing was also fair - comparable to other local, smaller glaziers and much lower than the big outfits in town. read more

During a recent search for a local glass repair contractor I found Perks. My landscaper had accidently kicked up a rock with his weed whacker and shattered the glass on our back door. On Tuesday 9/26 I called and spoke with Matthew and explained what I was looking for. He told me that he was in the middle of over 30 quotes and asked me to send him photos and specs and he stated he would email me back a quote that evening. At the end of the next business day, I emailed him again as a reminder. Crickets. During the initial phone call I got an impression that he would be the right guy for the job so I held off reaching out to any other contractors. Over the next few days, I left two voicemails with no response. On Monday afternoon, 10/2 I get a call from him but it was a butt dial. He did not hear me say hello repeatedly but I could hear him talking about profit and loss numbers. You can't make this stuff up! I hung up and called him back and it went to voicemail and I left another message. Let me be clear I have been a residential contractor for over 40 years and I completely understand the issues that arise on a day to day basis. I always try to patronize local, small business when I can so it actually makes me uncomfortable doing this. However, not following up with someone on the front end of potential project with someone who is looking to give you business is simply inexcusable. read more

Matthew was recommended by my handyman after I received a high estimate from a larger company. He returned my call immediately and set up an appointment to measure. His quote came that night and I was so impressed to find that it was $1,300 lower than the larger company that wanted to rent a boom lift to access a window that Matthew reached by ladder. Don't hesitate, Matthew and his team are wonderful! (I had 4 windows replaced.) read more

We had someone out to replace a cracked window pane and Perk's Glass was recommended for the additional window repairs that we needed done. I was so thrilled to learn that he could easily replace the broken plastic glazing bead that was damaged around some of our windows. We'd put off getting them repaired since we thought the only solution was replacing the entire (very large) window. The repair cost was much less than a previously quoted replacement cost (from another business). Matthew quickly came to look at the damage and provide an estimate, and he was able to come out even sooner that we'd expected to repair them. I'll definitely be calling Perk's Glass for any future window repairs that we need to have done! read more

Matthew was recommended to me by another guy in the glass business who was not able to fix my single-pane window. Matthew easily earned that recommendation! He was communicative and friendly, and gave a clear, reasonable quote up front, that he stuck to even though my old window was a bit tricky. Whole operation was very safe and COVID-friendly. read more

Matt is really great and genuine guy. Called on Sunday about a single pane window glass that was broken and he fixed it by 5 pm the next day. Awesome service! Would use again! read more

Same day service--you can't ask for more than that. Matt was the first to respond when I called several repair services to fix a shattered door window, and also the first to be able to get there. He came to check it out, gave us a quote, and came back to fix it, all in one day. He cleaned up the mess and was gone before we knew it. Excellent service. Keeping his business card, because if a kid (ahem) breaks another window, we'll call him first. read more

My house is 35 years old and I had windows that were not operating very well and Trent Hankins at Aeromass Glass suggested that I call Mathew Perks at Perks Glass. Mathew came to the house, inspected all the windows, compiled a parts lists and promptly presented a quote for the repairs. I was concerned that he would be able to fInd parts for such old windows but he felt he could locate or fabricate all parts needed. Within just a couple of days, he called, had all the parts and would be out to repair whenever I could meet him at the house. He came out as scheduled and performed all of the repairs. The windows all work like they were brand new. What a pleasure to deal with someone who very quickly diagnosed the problems, performed the repairs and showed up as promised. He was very professional, competent, courteous and friendly. read more

I highly recommend Matt and Perks Glass for any issue you are having with your home windows. We had a window that wouldn't open. Contacted Matt via Yelp and quickly got a response and estimate. Matt was very responsive, polite, prompt, showed up when he promised to, and got the job done correctly.
