Contacted Clean Cut last week, got a great quote (not the most expensive, not the least expensive) and engaged them. Here we are a week later and the door is in. Great crew to install the doors and then a separate employee to paint and finish the trim. Meticulous. skilled craftsmen at work. Can't get more millennial than that and I'm not even a millennial. The communication with the company was always easy either via phone or E-mail. The payment methods were also all made online as it should be in 2021. We're close to putting people on Mars, but many companies in the US still rely on bank paper checks, lol. We had a professional measuring our old door beforehand to make sure all was right. Then we choose the door from their vast selection and once we agreed on the door details, we got a good quote and ordered it with a promise to be delivered in 12 weeks. It took only 9 1/2 weeks (Epic movie, by the way) so we cannot complain. The crew that installed our door did it in 2 hours and did a perfect job. They even installed my Smart Lock, which I assumed I would have to do it myself as it's more complex than a regular Dumb lock, so that saved me time. Very happy with the company and product, highly recommended.

No regrets, though!

I consider myself a DIYer, but in this case, I wanted something done professionally to make sure everything was nice and neat. While I had a basic idea of what I wanted, I debated getting a formal project manager to handle coordination of the full install. With a ton of experience doing this kind of install, Marcus helped out so much that I was pretty much able to handle coordination of the main pieces and personnel without needing to hire anyone else. He did a great job making the vision come alive and was transparent with any problems that arises (and importantly fixing them when necessary). He was friendly, fair with pricing, and also very quick-- framing and installation took only 2 separate, spread out days (to allow for drywalling and parts arrival in between). My personal experience with him in terms of communication was excellent, but I also purposefully avoided peak summer season so as not to catch him at a busy time. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

The previous contractor had left it with visible drywall screws wide exposed cuts, etc. It looked terrible. After panicking because our countertops were scheduled for installation and looking through Jasons Yelp photos, we knew we needed to get on Jason's schedule. He books out sometimes 3 weeks, and this was last minute. We ended up delaying our countertop installation by 3 weeks in order to have him do the work. Waiting for Jason to do the work was 100% worth having a plywood island top for those 3 weeks. He showed up on time and got right to work. His cuts are precise, and the extension he built looks like it's always been there. We ended up hiring him to extend our kitchen cabinetry to the ceiling and add crown molding to it, as well as add trim pieces to our cabinets' blank sides before we had them painted. We also hired him to modify and install a wood hood over our stove top. Everything came out perfectly. We are more than impressed with his work and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. This guy is a professional and the best kind. There was not one bad surprise with him. He even gave me some tips, as I was filling the cabinet handle holes prior to getting them painted. They came out perfectly. Thanks, Jason!
