    Caulking was very poor

I've used Paradigm twice and have two very different experiences. The first was a shower door installation that was done quite well with care and concern. The second was a full house window installation. Overall, the project was door poorly. Caulking looked like kids had done it (not a straight line) and I had to get it redone. Windows were damaged on installation with screws and they had missing covers. Four windows are defective (Kory came out and confirmed). He said he'd order new ones from the manufacturer as they have a warranty. It has now been almost THREE YEARS and I have not heard back from him. Six emails with no responses.

Kory and his crew were awesome. Incredibly responsive - actually got back to me the same day in a matter of hours and we handled everything via text and email. I had budgeted a certain amount and was pleasantly surprised at their quote after completing the on-site measurement. They had everything ordered and installed within 2 weeks and we got our master bathroom shower back in time for the holidays! I highly recommend Kory and Paradigm Glass

Soon to be awesome master closet without the 1980's mirrors
    Marla H.

We needed some 1980s mirrors taken off of an extra room off of our master bedroom which we are making into a master closet. I called for about a few estimates everyone gave me a roundabout number except for Cory. He told me exactly what it would cost. His guys showed up on time and we're very professional. Most of the glass companies told me when they take the mirrors off the wall it might rip drywall and put holes in our walls. To be honest I was a little bit freaked out about having it done. But Paradigm Glass took off all five mirrors without any damage at all to our walls! Thank you Paradigm Glass!!!

Inside window. When alerted workman to issues, he "repaired" with caulking.

Kory, while a great person, has provided a very poor service and response to the quality of work provided. While he has been vocal about his struggles finding quality help and I can sympathize, I am stuck with windows that will need to be replaced if I want them fixed. I purchased 11 windows, 10 have been installed. 2 do not function, 1 is sitting in my living room. Some installed have cosmetic damage, while others are just wrong. I paid the deposit in February, work was to start in May, but started in June. I'm still awaiting resolution, after paying for 3/4 of the job, still have 1/4 to pay. He has completely walked away from this job. I have had another company come evaluate repairs, was told that the windows would have to be removed and reinstalled. The ones that have "cosmetic" damage would need to be replaced. This experience has been a series of unfortunate events.

Corey is very customer-service oriented and very ethical. I appreciate his help in getting our large living room windows replaced.

However, if you look through the door you see many work stations. Viviana was very helpful over the phone. We decided to go in and see their mirrors up close. Their mirrors were fine, however, not with many options. The choices for our bathroom was clear glass or beveled glass. We obtained a quote for both. Binswanger Glass was within the relative range of other mirror shop that did custom mirrors. There quote was fair and similar cost to other vendors.

Horrible store/manager/warranty…read more Binswanger replaced a custom, round window in our living room 4 years ago. The glass failed and I contacted the store manager, Scott Rubin, for a replacement under warranty. To my surprise, Scott quoted a price that was almost as much as the original cost. I pushed for an itemized cost (never received) but was told labor is only warrantied for one year. I called Trent Hankins at AeroMass Glass. He came out, measured, ordered, and installed the glass for only $40 more than Binswanger's quote "under warranty". AeroMass offers a 10-year warranty. If any window he installs starts fogging or condensing within the 10-year window, the glass and labor are covered. Trent's number is 512-968-4047. Binswanger is a huge company that has no incentive to do the right thing for customers. Give a AeroMass Glass a call and get honesty, a fair price, and great service.

That should of been my first sign to maybe look else where, second was told windows would be made in 10-14 days took an extra week ok a little more understandable, then when dropped off was asked for payment while my partner was taking care of this issue. Third issue is they were rude when dropping off windows saying they knew how to do their job, when we never questioned that just wanted answers so if our customer had questions we could answer them. Well turns out one window wasn't made while we had two windows extra that didn't march any size of window that was ordered. Called they looked for it and then called to have it remade best thing they did it was rushed but since it was rushed the glass was scratched, so the replacement window wasn't trying to be rushed again to possibly show up at the end of the week great but for sure Monday ok. Well it is Tuesday still no window and they haven't gotten it either and now I won't get it until Wednesday when the weather will be starting at 35 degrees. At this point I'm asking about some kind of reimbursement cause this has already delayed the project I have going on for days let alone the week extra to get started. Go in circles with the owner who makes these decisions is out of the office, the women who makes these calls isn't in, I have to take this up with the manufacturer, the owner of the company will have to get back to you on that. Yet no one has gotten back to me about it. I've dealt with a warehouse person possible the manager who doesn't like when you have. Questions about their answer or more the one question because it's nothing they can do, or it's not their fault. Told me the people who talk to about getting a reimbursement would have to be the manufacturer but then changed it to the owner of the company. Told me to call and hung up, did t give a number didn't ask if I needed or had any other questions very poor customer service. I call the office to speak to Terry I'm on hold for 5-10 mins the. Jim gets on the phone says Terry is in meeting he can call me when he gets out that was around 11:30 I had to call back around 2:40 to follow up and they said he left out of the office for personal reasons. So again I'm not having my issues resolved. I haven't gotten questions answered in the best of light and seems when you have more then one question more then just one staff member doesn't like it. I will not be working with them again and hope others will chose a company that values everyone's times. Oh and if we didn't pay in full when they requested they would repo our windows even though they made errors. Great job Longhorns!

Along the way, we also discovered that we needed to have the roof replaced, and so put that in the mix for a bid as well. We contacted six different companies, each of which brought a particular set of strengths and challenges. We chose Austin Pro based on a combination of factors: personalized attention to our project, comprehensive estimate and explanation of each line item, and ability to get the project done on a timeline that worked for us. We chose to have the house re-sided with Hardie Plank, painted with Sherwin-Williams paint, and re-shingled the roof with GAF shingles. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the process of basically re-doing the entire house, especially when insurance companies come into play. To that end, everyone at Austin Pro was first rate. Before we even settled on a contractor, Paul, our project manager, walked me through the intricacies of the process, and spent probably more time than he wanted explaining how things would go, and what options we had. The bid was competitive, and the line-by-line items on the original bid made it easy to see what was going to be done, and what materials were going to be used. He was patient and courteous and flexible, and was also able to speak to us in a way that didn't make things even more confusing. Kevin was the siding project lead, and though we never met in person, I felt comfortable that he had our best interests at heart as he got the crew on site, working fast and efficiently to remove and replace the siding. He even called in the middle of the siding job to tell us that we didn't need something we thought we would, saving us money that we could then use for add-ons we didn't originally budget for. The siding install and siding paint was done beyond our initial expectations, with nice touches like window framing and utility box framing that I didn't even know we needed but now look perfect. We had the back door repainted as well as our front balcony and pillars, and the end result is fantastic. It really was done to the point where it looks like a brand new house, and not one built in the early 1990s. Paul was back on site for the roofing job, and the roofers did a great job removing and replacing the shingles and skylight with new materials, on a roof that is exceptionally steep and challenging. They had the entire project done in only two days, and it looks fantastic. Finally, Garrett came by to do the final walk-through and punch list check-off, and was a real pleasure to interact with. He fulfilled all the items on the list, at least the ones he could do on his own, and did so in a friendly, courteous, and extremely efficient manner. All in all, Austin Pro lived up to their name and to their reputation. It is possible to find a company that can do your big jobs for less, but I am not sure you could find one that could do it better. They stand by their work with a quality assurance guarantee, and while I don't intend to need it, it's great that it's there.
