Our job was for a vaulted ceiling fan installation and to repair cracked and molding caulk around the tubs. I removed the existing caulk from the bathrooms myself to save money but I still felt the price was extremely high for a fan install and a finger swipe over silicone (that's all they did). They didn't remove the kitchen silicone (which we agreed on) and didn't clean it before putting a thin layer on top. After it cracked overnight I had him come back out to redo the entire thing. So, if you care about finesse and visual consistency, look elsewhere. read more

I can't recommend this service. The pros: He's communicative and responsive. Seems like a decent guy. The cons: I just don't get the sense that he really has much attention to detail or is a real professional. I had Art come out to hang some house numbers. He did everything by eye and did not use a level. It's only that when I started to pull out my level that he started to use it. He become increasingly frustrated as I pointed out how the numbers were not level (again, based on the level tool..). As a result, he just began making larger and larger holes to accommodate for the misalignment. Now I'm left with huge holes in my brick wall siding. If you are someone who believes in taking a measured approach, look elsewhere. Again, I feel bad writing this review because I do feel he is a decent guy. I was told the total cost would be $175 parts and labor and was charged $200. There's nail holes in that side board was replaced. Another thing is it doesn't sit flush it sits higher than the other side. if you couldn't have done the job right why even do it at all? I'm not happy with the serviced I received. Now we gotta have somebody else come out here and do it right. I would not recommend this company because it will end up costing you double to be fixed and additional charges as you can see from the picture when he removed the texture on the wall the top and bottom were not flush and the cocking on the paint leaves the job unprofessional and now the wall needs to be painted in addition. read more

I can't recommend this service. While he responded quickly and came out within 48 hours to scope the project he was inconsistent on follow-up. I had to ask twice if he wanted the job. After 24 hours and asking twice he decided to tell meat that point that he was done a guy and was unable to work on my projects. This would be fine, with the exception that I had to ask twice. He clearly knew he was down a guy when he looked at my project. Rather than telling me that day he waited me out - wasting a few days and an opportunity for me to scope the project with someone else. They did an awesome job mounting my 70 inch TV! The TV is heavy and the mount was high up on the wall. The mount is sturdy, I can maneuver it and tilt it up and down no problem. They finished the service in 30 mins! Quick and professional, they even took out the TV box trash. Very happy with my now mounted TV :D I additional asked for him to check my dishwasher and he was able to fix that as well! It was a quick fix, but he helped nonetheless. Really nice and friendly. You get what you pay for. He had the lowest rate so I went with him for what I thought was a simple task. He only had to spend 5 mins changing out my hvac filter in my attic. I hired him to save myself the inconvenience of going in the attic however it turns out he left the old dirty air filter in the attic rather than bringing it down for me to dispose of or for him to dispose of himself. Art was professional through the entire experience. He did an excellent job on the install of the back door and frame. He had to remove the old door frame first, then cut at the top to allow the new frame to fit, and caulk all the right areas. He was able to save the old trim on the inside of the house, but since the new door we bought was a couple of inches taller than the old one, it left a gap at the bottom. Art offered to run to Home Depot to pick up new trim that would be longer and fit properly. It did and the door looks great! It also works great - opens and closes fine, and even the locks work perfectly now! He also took all the debris and old frame away with him and swept the area clean so I didn't have to worry about any of that! I highly recommend Art and would hire him again.
