You can go pick a color, it's over there" gesturing with her hands. I asked for a standard pedicure which was $45 and included callouts removal. I got a pedicure where I was asked to put my feet into water hot enough to burn them, no apologies provided. Then the tech barely soaked my feet for 3 minutes before she asked me to take them out and proceeded to cut off my te nails almost to the quick without even asking how much I wanted t shorten them. Them proceeded to file them roughly causing pain, then she scrubbed my foot for a 40 seconds with the disposable scrub sponge and proceeded to do what was a poor excuse for a foot/leg massage (honestly an 8 year old could have done a better job) running your fingertip up and down my calves with no pressure at all is pointless IMHO. Then she slapped on the polish and handed me a bill for $32. So instead of getting the standard pedicure I had asked for I got an express pedicure because I guess they felt like they could just do whatever they wanted. On a separate note, I watched the giving the customers who were getting the gels and the dip and acrylic nails a leather bound drink menu to chose a drink from, all I was offered was would you like to drink something no details on options. The tech that did my pedicure spoke all of 2 words to me the entire time. It was the most underwhelming, disappointing pedicure I've ever had in my life and I would never go back there. If you're going to be careless, unfriendly and overpriced don't expect customers to return. I don't recommend this place to anyone! If there was an option to give them zero stars that's what I would do.

I try to book them together whenever I can because they just flow. No chaos, no over-talking, no nonsense. Just straight-up good service, ON POINT EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. They always send me out looking expensive. Sunny does my dip nails and NEVER misses. I work in the field ( ladders, tools, heavy equipment) and I have YET to break a nail. The shape is always clean, feminine, and somehow my natural nails are healthier now than they've been in years. I swear she shapes my nails better than some people shape their entire personality. And Tiffany... her pedicures are lethal in the best way possible. Her hands should clealry be federally regulated. I leave feeling like I paid for therapy. She can massage the trauma out of my soul with those hands As a result elder millennial woman "trying" to embrace a soft life after living in survival mode for years, - finding a nail salon that is consistent, drama-free, clean, kind, and actually talented means EVERYTHING, you hear me!! Also, shoutout to the salon itself because they're genuinely and truly professional. Yes they offer beverages / alcoholic or non and prices are reasonable and fair. But that's just a bonus. I have been to the Modern Nail Bar 3 times and had a gel pedicure. The first time I went the nails…read moreon my toes were cut at a slant, where the left side of the nail was cut higher than the right. I forgave the cut because I got a great foot massage. The next time I went it was fire. My nails look great and I got the best foot massage. So my daughter said let's go get a pedicure and I was right on board. But l should have said no. We went and had to wait, not a problem, but it was over an hour. When I got my service that is where the problem started. She did do my nails first and then the message. She started the timer as said 12 minute message. Then she went on to put her tools away before she started the message. I was not incredibly mad because it was past closing hour. But her message was lame and I was not satisfied at all. When I got home I realized my gel pedicure was already chipping and one set of toes was darker than the other. So now I have burgundy toes on the left side and red on the other. I should have paid better attention at the shop but I was spending the time talking to my daughter. I paid for a service and tipped for something that was not right and it was not the first time. I did like my lemon drop martini. The vibe of the place was nice but not consistent. I got home and my wife said that was all wrong since she goes there all the time and the 45 is a full service with a mask , a yellow neck pillow and a ten minute neck massage none of which I got or was offered and wouldn't have accepted anyway . My wife called them to talk with them and they verified with the actually tech who flat out lied and said she did all of the services even a ten minute neck massage . I was blown away that was a straight up lie . I get part of this was my fault for not knowing exactly what I was paying for but to just out right lie to my wife over this is disgusting . Such a simple solution to an issue even a credit on the next visit for the difference would have been a simple solution . The lady said that she will discuss this with Sophia so this wouldn't happen to any other customers in the future and said she was busy with a client and had to go . So basically instead of just making the issue right she insisted that I was being dishonest by saying her nail tech did the services I was charged for . My wife , daughters , and myself will never be going back to this place .
