First timer . We wanted to go to Pier 15 and kids were hungry for a pizza . Googled and found this place .. the atmosphere inside was good . Nice seating outside too. Lots of tables to sit in and it was crowded . We wanted to take to-go. Didn't really see the menu and ordered 2x basic cheese pizza and a vegan omelette . And the price was about 75$ we weren't able to cancel it too since we ordered ! Ufff prettyyyyyy expensive .. never had 25$ small pizza in my life , but since kids were hungry we ordered it .. Absolutely wonderful dining experience. We were in NYC for the weekend for PlantCon & stumbled upon this restaurant on our last day, right across the street from our hotel. The best lamb & beef meatballs with feta and taziki sauce appetizer. Phenomenal custom lemon drop martini's and yes we had 3.Passion fruit, apple, lychee. Our waiter was gone for a loong time before taking our order (but that would have been fine, since we knew the drinks, salads and pizzas we wanted). But then as items came out 1 at a time (by other staff) we figured the second pizza was just taking longer... couldnt ask our waiter because he wasnt around. at all. as we finished the meal i finally flagged him down and asked about the other pizza which he said we didnt order. um i very clearly did. but then reordered on the spot. it eventually comes out and its delicious but then i got to flag down the waiter again to get a togo box and the check. Im pretty patient but if the waiter is hiding from us I can't ask or follow up when he makes the mistakes. for the price, the food was delicious bur the service just didnt match up. read more

I came to Industry Kitchen after attending an event nearby. Industry Kitchen is a perfect place for a date night, happy hour or brunch. It is located right by the river where you can see the skyline Of brooklyn. We have the Ahi tuna nachos, Spanish octopus, Waygu steak tartare, grilled lollipop lambchops, and Honey Bee pizza. This was my first time having steak tartare, and it was delicious and it was topped with a quail egg. I didn't try the nachos but I heard they were really good as well as the grill octopus. The Honey Bee pizza was delicious it was savory with a little hint of the sweetness and spicy from the honey. It was perfectly size and is shareable. The Snow White cocktail was really good. It had Corazón tequila, lime, coconut cream, ginger liqueur, Grand Marnier, jalapeño. They also have outdoor cabins by the waterfront. The service was good, and they were prompt and very knowledgeable about all their food and drinks . also some food items and cocktails may be seasonal so try to catch them when you can. This is now one of my new favorite places to eat at in New York City! One of my colleagues had made a reservation at Industry Kitchen, in the NYC Financial/Seaport area for a 5:30 P.M on a Wednesday evening. The walk wasn't too far from our office, a few blocks away. Industry Kitchen overlooks the river and the city. It's absolutely stunning view, especially during sunset. We had seating in the middle of the restaurant where our table was partially inside and outside. The service was phenomenal at Industry Kitchen! We were immediately seated and provided waters. The menu has a wide range of items from wood fired pizza, salads, seafood, and much more! My colleague and I decided to share several dishes. Duo Dips ($16): Sundried Tomato Hummus, Basil Ricotta, Soft Pita Watermelon & Feta ($17): Baby Arugula, Fresh Basil, Pickled Red Onion, White Balsamic Glaze Wood Fired Pizza: Bianca ($22): Mozzarella, Ricotta, Parmesan-Reggiano, Baby Arugula The food, just like service, was outstanding. The appetizers came out first, which included the Duo Dips and the Watermelon & Feta Salad. The Watermelon & Feta salad was my favorite. The watermelon was juicy and fresh. The balsamic glaze wasn't overpowering, and there wasn't too much on the fruit or cheese. The feta cheese blended well with the salad. I would order this dish again instantly! The Duo Dips were scrumptious! I've never had a dip quite like the sundried tomato hummus before. It was quite unique. It had a garden harvest flavor to it. The Basil Ricotta was yummy! The Bianca Wood Fired Pizza was amazing! There was a ton of arugula on it. The dough was perfectly cooked, not burnt on the bottom. The cheese was melted and the sauce was creamy. Our waiter, Anibal, started out strong with getting our drinks ready, but they ran out of ice at the concession area and my friend was helpfully told that if she ordered tea, it would be warm. Based on that information, she made the decision to go with a sweeter, cooler pink lemonade. Strangely while the 4 of us waited for the rest of our party to arrive, I noticed other tables were being delivered cocktails with plenty of ice. Three had our cocktails filled with the ice, but we theorized that we'd be the last in the restaurant to get ice. We joked around with Anibel about what we saw and he let us know that the bartenders don't share their ice, even upon multiple requests. By the time my friend ordered her second pink lemonade, her drink came out with ice to the top of the glass...compliments from Anibel. However, we had to wait roughly an hour to put in our food order. We had a time limitation of an hour and a half, so it ended up being a bit rushed. I dropped a point because the service was very slow and considering we had time constraints and informed our waiter upfront.The food was seasoned and portioned well. However, the truffle potatoes Wedges ($12) were a bit firmer than I prefer, but the pizzas were light and crispy. The kalua pork was plentifully dispersed against the larger fresh pineapple pieces ($26). The bao buns had a nice spicy aioli (2 for $18). The outdoors space is a bit loud and very busy, but it's nice at sunset with a good view of the East River. read more

The food hasn't been amazing, but you're coming here more for the chill waterfront vibe and atmosphere. This time, I tried the Maine Lobster Ravioli ($38+), which was good, but not very warm. The Watermelon & Feta Salad ($17+) was tasty, but not very large. I visited Industry Kitchen a few times more since my first review. I'd say there's been an improvement. Granted, the food is about above average but the waterfront views cannot be beat. We happened to snag a cabana-like table last evening. It was a spacious seating arrangement that could easily accommodate 8 people although we were just 4. Service was pretty good as were drinks Some table appetizers included Truffle Fries (I arrived later and didn't try it), Shishito Peppers (very good) and an Asian Broccoli appetizer which resembled a side dish. It was tasty. My friends ordered Lobster Cobb (which looked colorful and good), Salmon and Tuna Tacos My dish was a splurge having ordered the Lobster Cioppino. The Cioppino had a lovely presentation with just one toast laying on top. More toast was necessary since it didnt run evenly with the broth. A lone lobster tail, salmon, shrimp and Mussels were included in the tomato broth. Opinion? Pretty good although I've tasted better. The portion size was a bit underwhelming and the broth didn't pack much flavor. I felt that the dish was light and healthy though. Because it was a beautiful summer evening spent with close friends and we were satisfied overall with the food/service, I am updating my rating . SE Spicy Steamed Mussels 5/5 big portion, served in a pot, with soup inside which is delicious. I don't often go to the seaport in nyc but given the sunny weather, I thought it might be a nice time to go somewhere more open and walkable. I found Industry Kitchen on the Seated app and made reservations. We sat inside because it was too hot outside but they do have a really nice outside patio with a view of the river and Brooklyn bridge. About 5 minutes after I arrived the waiter came by and asked what I wanted to order for food. I felt a little rushed (and for no reason, there were plenty of open tables). They came by again in 5 minutes and it felt a bit pestering. The menu was ok but I thought the items were very over priced. I paid $8 for two pieces of toast with butter. It's not even an appetizer. That's ridiculous to me. At brunch yesterday at a comparable (nicer) place in midtown, I only paid $3 for toast as a side. If the food was really good, I might overlook this but honestly the food was pretty mediocre. My friend ordered the blueberry French toast and it was such a paltry portion. It looked like 3 little entemanns sized pastries. Hardly enough to even be an appetizer. Our waiter was also very confused (I think there was a language barrrier). He served my toast to my friend and kept saying it was the French toast. My entree was normal sized but I didn't enjoy it. I've had vegan egg before (just egg, hodo and other brands) and I usually like it, but this wasn't the texture or toaste I'm used to. The egg almost tasted like a spinach wrap with a slightly bean-y after taste. This is a newer item on their menu apparently. I gave the waiter my candid feedback at the end of the meal and he was receptive. He did offer to bring me another soft drink at the end (probably because I didn't like the meal), so I thought that was nice. Overall, I wasn't a fan though and I wouldn't come back. read more

Industry Kitchen is in a great location, right on the water in the South Street Seaport. We had brunch here on a Saturday afternoon in May. It may have been raining, but we still enjoyed dining indoors. This is a popular spot, with a large brunch crowd...make a reservation if you're heading here. After ordering cocktails, we had appetizers of meatballs with polenta and pita with 2 different kinds of hummus. Both were very good, especially the meatballs! For brunch entrees, my wife and I each ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, my daughter had a poached egg with sourdough toast.
